  1. Resource usage report per Service plan

Please implement an option in Plesk to generate a resource usage report per Service plan.

For example, the report in Tools & Settings > Summary Report could have a section that provides the usage data per Service plan.

  3. Empty .trash folder even if it contains read-only/write-only files

When the .trash folder contains read-only directories or files, it cannot be emptied with the "Emtpy Recycle Bin" button of "File Manager". Instead it throws errors that Linux "rm" cannot access the files or directories for removal.

As these files and directories are in the trash folder, I propose to delete such files anyway as otherwise a user without console access or limited knowledge (such as using FTP to change file permissions, if that is possible at all for the FTP user account) can't ever remove such files.

  4. Ability to set expiration date in a subscription without locking it

Provide the ability to set an expirations date without locking a subscription. When changing the expiration date of a subscrition it becomes locked for sync. It shouldn't become locked as subscritions have expiration dates that need to be prolonged when the customer pays for his next term.

  6. Ability to change certificate repository for a Subscription via the Plesk GUI

On a Plesk server that uses one main domain and many subdomains (over 1000) as separate Subscriptions, I find it necessary to have the option to change the certificate repository that the subdomains use easily.

  7. Prohibit user from deleting domains

    Hello,
Another customer's domain names were accidentally erased from his control panel, according to us. Please give us a choice to prevent this from occurring again. Alternatively, provide us access to a internal ticket system, which requires staff approval.

Thank you for your idea. When deleting a domain, a clear warning an confirmation dialog is displayed. Domains are only deleted when that additional dialog is confirmed. https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/41416156-delete-domain

Nevertheless, we'll consider adding a feature that users won't be permitted to delete domains at all, if this request becomes popular.

  8. Disable docker exposed ports in firewall

It should be possible to block the port exposing in global nets from docker containers within the firewall.
It's a massive security lack! Most applications are run behind a 'docker proxy rule', so there's no need to expose the port to the whole internet.
Docker's modifying the firewall by itself, so this has to be disabled.

  10. Ability to set a Subscription or Domain Backup Default

I'd love the ability to set a subscription such that a Scheduled Backup configuration is enabled by default? E.g. "backup all files, daily, store 1 day"?

Often times I realized after the fact that a domain backup was not turned on. The "scheduled backup list" extension is nice, but I'm looking more for a default option.

  11. Allow user to choose folder for unzip

Allow the user to choose the folder in which an archive gets extracted instead of extracting only in the folder the zip archive exists in. This is especially important for webapps that don't use webdeploy.

  12. Create a "grid" of permissions where admin can enable or disable parts of menus related to the Service Plan

Can be really usefull increase details of personalizations of the customer's menus, for example:
into smb/iis-app-pool/settings/id (AppPools Settings) to allow to recycle it but not to create a new one
For example, if customer creates a subdomain, it can also create a dedicated appPool for it and this can create problems in some envs.

Our suggestion is to create a "grid" of permissions where admin can enable or disable parts of menùs related to the Service Plan, as happens now but much more granular

    Thanks

  13. Support ARM-based Linux operating systems for the .NET Toolkit extension

Support for ARM-based Linux operating systems is not yet available for the .NET Toolkit extension, it would be helpful to have it.

  14. Add new columns in customer page or customize it

We should be able to add new columns for customer page. It's important to manage customers in such a way. In my case I need to add new columns for:
    1. if a customer has already an aggrement with our company.
    2. see their mail adress in customer listing page.

  15. Advisor that finds the cause for high CPU usage automatically

My server sometimes suffers from or even crashes from high CPU usage. I'd like to have an advisor like the Security Advisor, but for automatically telling me which service or website causes the high cpu usage. It would be best if that advisor could also check webserver logs automatically, if it finds that for example the PHP cpu load is high in a website.

  16. Bringing an option to open or close encrypted directories in the password-protected directories section.

Bringing an option to open or close encrypted directories in the domain name directory encryption section. This way, you won't have to delete the password to open the directory.

  17. Custom Temporary Domain Names

When you create a new site, you get the amazing option to generate a Temporary domain name.

However, these are randomly generated, which makes finding your dev site difficult, especially if you have a lot of them.

I get that you can change the domain after creation, but hopefully it won't be such a large change to the plesk code to allow you to alter the domain name at creation from "silly-lalande.90-65-15-200.plesk.page" to "(custom-website-name).90-65-15-200.plesk.page"

  18. "keep secure" should be ON by default for any new Service Plan.

We and many other companies sell "Reseller accounts", each reseller has its own service plans. We can't control how they create their service plans and if they enable "keep secured" in their plan.

So in that case, there should be a global keep-secured solution that has nothing to do with resellers' plans.

An admin should have the option to enable "keep secured" globally so that any newly created domain will be secured once it's pointed to the server DNS. Something similar is working flawlessly in CPANEL. CPANEL users basically do not need to actively install an SSL by Let's Encrypt.…

  20. Add color support for comments in panel.ini editor extension

There's no comment color support, which causes visual bugs in the panel.ini editor view.

    For example:
A word in the default description for the [pmm] section has a tilde character ( ` ) instead of an apostrophe. This causes everything after it, including other sections, to appear in brown color, and not the correct color code for further sections.

Comments should be recognized as such and have their own color code (like gray) so its contents don't take over the color in upcoming sections. It can confuse users.
