  1. Add more options to sort/group output of MySQL process viewer

Please add more sort/grouping options into MySQL process viewer. It would be nice to have the ability to know how many connections are open for database, user, domain and so on.

  2. Include the option to filter or order by field "Smart Update" in WordPress > Updates.

Include the option to filter or order by field "Smart Update" in WordPress > Updates. That way customers can see every instance with Smart Update enabled to easily manage their Smart Update licenses.

  3. Add a snapshot of the current processes list to existing CPU / memory usage exceeded emails

The Monitoring extension already triggers email notifications when resource usage exceeds the allocations, but if usage has already settled before you notice these emails and click through to the server, it's difficult to find which domain was the cause.

Adding a snapshot of the current processes list to these emails when it's the CPU or memory usage thresholds that have been exceeded would be very useful. Potentially just the "Domains only" filtered list would suffice. Maybe trimmed to the top 50 or so processes ordered by CPU or memory, whichever is appropriate at the time.

  4. Monitoring, uptime and white label customer reports

It would be nice to have:

    • Monitoring (alert if site offline or keyword does not exist)
    • Uptime (maintenance mode not included in downtime)
    • Reports (automatically generated WP-toolkit white label reports to send by email monthly to clients)

  6. "Send welcome mail" by button so that admin can send login credentials to a new user by email template

As discussed in https://talk.plesk.com/threads/send-email-with-credentials-to-my-customer.369632/#post-927240 Plesk should have a button for server admins by which an admin can send a welcome mail to a user with the user's login credentials. That should be template-based with an editable template to cater for the requirements of different server providers.

It should also not be sent directly, but similar to the existing "mass mailing" function first show the proposed text in an editor window so that the admin can make additions or edit the text. Then send from there.

  8. Allow wildcard certificates for forwarders without Nginx installed

Due to fixed issue EXTSSLIT-1871, if nginx is disabled, it is no longer possible to start securing a domain with the “Forwarding” hosting type: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377017310999.

Please allow at least issuing wildcard certificates for forwarders without nginx installed, since these only require DNS validation.

  10. Moodle 4.0 Upgrade in Web Applications

Guys and Gals, who are using or supporting Moodle as the best free Learning Management System, PLEASE VOTE for this suggestion so Plesk can include the app update to Moodle version 4 or greater in the next versions of Plesk.

According to Plesk Obsidian's Documentation for Web Applications at https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/website-management/websites-and-domains/web-applications.68973/ regarding "Updating Apps," by default, Plesk installs the latest available app versions and updates apps immediately once the newer versions are available.

However, this is not true because Plesk offered for the past year 2021, an outdated version 3.10.4 of the Moodle App. Recently Plesk released a Moodle update to…

  11. Allow Plesk Domain Cert to Renew if there are abandoned Domain Aliases

If a domain alias is abandon or missing its DNS A record, the Main Plesk Domain's Cert will fail to renew until the record is resolved.
This is an issue for Plesk Servers that are running hundreds of aliases that often get abandoned.

  12. DKIM Weekly Rotation of key, with new 'selector' where previous selector is removed the next week

    As in:
    https://proton.me/blog/dkim-replay-attack-breakdown

    Rotating DKIM is highly important.

Currently, it' **** easy to rotate the DKIM key on Plesk, not to talk of updating DNS and running Route 53 update.

This is asked to be implmented, where a second key is added, and new mails use it.

Old key would be depreciated a week later, as previous emails are still in the progress.

Rotate your DKIM keys regularly – Rotating our DKIM keys allowed us to quickly stop the attack and buy time for the permanent solution. Although tedious and risky to do manually, Proton’s DKIM key management system(new window)…

  13. Oversign Emails' DKIM From, To, and CC headers

    As in:
    https://proton.me/blog/dkim-replay-attack-breakdown

Oversign From, To, and CC headers – Most DKIM implementations always sign the From, To, and CC headers if they are present in an email, preventing them from being modified if the message is resent. However, if these headers are missing, they are often unsigned, opening the door to replay attacks with forged headers that make the fraudulent emails seem legitimate. Oversigning mitigates these attacks by signing these sensitive headers in all cases, even if they are blank. If you use Proton to send your email, this oversigning is done for you automatically by our mail servers.

  14. make plugin pack installation able to handle dependent plugins

This feature request originated here: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plugin-package-cannot-be-installed-premium-plugin-requires-base-plugin.371482/

The problem is that plugin X needs to be active so plugin Y can be activated. (In my case, it was the AIOS plugin with its premium version, which WP toolkit wasn't able to activate)

It seems that WP Toolkit tries to activate all plugins at once when installing a plugin pack. An option to tell WP Toolkit to enable each plugin alone in the order they were added to the plugin pack instead of all together would be useful in this case. But there are probably more ways to optimize WP toolkit for…

  15. Server notifications should be sent using a freely configurable SMTP server and port

The sender's address of Plesk notifications can be set since Plesk 18.0.45, but it is also desirable to being able to configure the SMTP server, port, loginname, password and encryption scheme for such notifications. For example, some environments don't allow mail-out through port 25.

  16. Allow the creation of forbidden domain names via API

Please implement an option in Plesk, which allows the administrator to create domain names, which are forbidden for creation via Plesk UI.

For example, *.example.com has been added in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Prohibited Domain Names. This limitation should apply to all users in Plesk UI, but the administrator should still be able to create *.example.com subdomains via API calls.

This will be useful when looking to automatically provide users with a free subdomain for hosting, but prevent them from creating unlimited number of *.example.com subdomain via Plesk UI.

  17. Customize Plesk Premium Email Logo and Footer

Currently, the means are available to edit it. But not an administrator interface, fast and simple, in order to be able to sell the service as a reseller or simply as an end user. Since it is a paid service. They should add more plugins like this.

  18. add sshd to services list for restart or enabling on demand

Sometimes it's usefuil to be able to restart the sshd service, especially if the service is not reachable anymore. For increased security it could also be usefull to enable sshd only if needed other the panel.

  19. Add unique identifier to login event parameters

Currently the user login/logout event only gives a contact name as event parameter. This is not a unique identifier since multiple users can have the same contact name. In the psa log_actions database table the username is saved. Please also add the username to the event parameters so there's a unique identifier which user logged in our out.

    Reference: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/server-administration/event-parameters-passed-by-event-handlers.67897/#plesk-user-logged-in

  20. Add an ability to change mail queue lifetime from control panel

Currently, it is only possible to change mail queue lifetime from CLI. It would be useful to be able to set this from Plesk UI as well.
