  1. Allow configuring "From" header for cron tasks when remote SMTP (MSMTP) is used on a Plesk server

    If Amazon SES(or some similar solution) is used as remote SMTP configured in Plesk, cron emails cannot be sent because "From" header is hardcoded in cron, here are some related threads:

    There is a workaround - to replace the symlink from /usr/sbin/sendmail to msmtp by a bash script with the following content:

    #!/bin/bash
    sed -e 's/From: root (Cron Daemon)/From: root@mydomain.com (Cron Daemon)/' | /usr/bin/msmtp -t "$@"

    It would be great to have it applied by Plesk automatically and to have "From" header configurable from Plesk interface, for example in an additional field under Tools & Settings > External…

  2. Improve the autodiscover functionality for email significant

    At the moment "auto discover functionality for email" in plesk is supported, but you can hardly call it "supported". Come on plesk team!

    • Outlook: barely supported, mostly isn't working
    • Thunderbird: supported, but not 100% (for example the outgoing server port I have configured as 587 in the SRV record is not applied)
    • Mac OS or iOS: not supported
    • other mail clients apps: barely supported

    Please improve this functionality significant so plesk can correctly call this "supported".

  3. Customize which email address can receive notifications from WordPress digest / option to exclude some recipients

    Provide an option via the interface to customize the notification for the WordPress digest, as an example:

    As default Plesk send the notification from all customer/reseller or additional administrator.

    Would be amazing to instead only select all customer/reseller or add administrator accounts, also be able to select which customer will receive the notification or remove specific customer from the list.

  4. Plesk firewall - advanced settings

    It would be great to be able to control the rules that are currently not mentioned in the GUI of the Plesk Firewall extension. Perhaps, some "Advanced options" menu could be added there, for example to tweak the policies that applied initially(these are not showing in the GUI)

  5. Add ability to change the domain name in links in the mail notification when customer is created

    Add ability to change the domain name in links from the mail notification that's being sent upon creation of the new "Customer" in Plesk. It would be nice to not expose our Plesk hostname and instead use for password reset link some other domain name, that resolves to our server.

  6. Change WPTK target instance name when copying an instance

    When using the WPTK "copy data" feature, it also overwrites the name of the target instance with that of the source instance. This causes both target and source instances to have the same name, which causes confusion in other operations.

    Is it possible to prevent the "copy data" feature from updating the target instance's name, or remove the instance names from the UI altogether?

  7. abilty to add ALIAS or ANAME DNS records in Plesk

    Add abilty to create ALIAS or ANAME DNS in Plesk. To point the "naked" version of your domain (like example.com ), because this is not posible with the CNAME ( RFC1912 section 2.4:)

  8. Create subfolder under the inbox folder.

    There is a possibility to create a subfolder for the inbox folder of the email account via CLI.
    For Dovecot, for example, with the following command:
    # doveadm mailbox create -u email@example.com -s INBOX.newfolder
    It would be nice to have an option to create such folders via Plesk UI.

  9. Text field for notes per WordPress installation

    For managing many WordPress installations with WP Toolkit, it would be helpful to be able to add a (searchable) text note to each instance.
    Similar to labels, but just a free text field where you can insert a few lines of text.

  11. Implement a general-purpose ACME client for certificate authorities other than Let's Encrypt

    Currently, it is only possible to automatically renew certificates issued by Let's Encrypt. Certificates from other CA's have to be updated manually even if they support ACME protocol, so it would be useful to have a module that could renew all certificates.

  12. Ability to change/manage Watchdog settings with commands via CLI

    In some cases, it is required to change/manage settings in Watchdog (for example Preferences in Watchdog) for a great number of servers. For now, it is possible only from Plesk GUI which in the scope of about 100 servers will become a great deal to do. So it would be much convenient to be able to manage these settings with command through CLI.

  13. Information about Web Statistics user and credentials

    Plesk interface should inform that in order to check Web Statistics it should use the FTP credentials. User's may think that they can use Plesk admin/reseller/customer login credentials. For example showing that information when hovering with mouse cursor or adding some info box

  14. Add global option to control default value of "Search Indexing Enabled" and "Debugging" for newly created site

    We've WordPress development company and use Plesk for managing lots of staging servers for projects under development.
    All domains are created automatically via API as part of the project's start process, and, of course, all instances that are under development should not be indexed during the development stage (as it will affect the page index of the site in production).
    By default, "Search Indexing" option is enabled, and this is quite inconvenient and error prone for us (as it requires manual setup of the created instance).
    Adding global server-wide configuration option for WP Toolkit that will control such default behavior…

  16. Add command-line arguments to Plesk reconfigurator.exe (Windows Server)

    Please add command-line arguments to Plesk' reconfigurator.exe to represent functionality that is available in the GUI.

    For example, it is not possible to change MySQL Data location on the command line. This is unfortunate, as the GUI is pretty useless automated deployments.

  17. Ability to exclude www for domain aliases when issue Let's Encrypt certificate

    Currently in SSL It! extension the option is "Include a "www" subdomain for the domain and each selected alias". In that way the Let's Encrypt limit will take effect if many aliases exist in Plesk for domain.

    For example, it is required to protect example.com, www.example.com and 50 aliases. In that way Let's encrypt will protect example.com, www.example.com and 100 aliases (50 without www and 50 with WWW) and it will hit the Let's Encrypt Limit.

  19. Way to suspend outgoing mail service per-account

    Like on cPanel where you have the option to suspend Outgoing mail service (SMTP) per account. Also as an idea of mine, set the email account to only allow send email inside the domain like user@domain.com he only can send to whoever@domain.com

  20. Support Plesk Premium Email (KOLAB) more domains under one subcription !

    Now you can't currently choose if you manage multiple domains in one subscription, which one you want to assign a premium to and which one you want to assign a free Plesk Premium Email version to.
