  2. Update of paid WordPress plugins via WordPress Toolkit

As you know, WordPress Toolkit can update plugins and themes installed only from WordPress.org. Paid plugins installed from vendors' websites cannot be updated using WordPress Toolkit.
It's not convenient to update plugins from WordPress.org in the WordPress Toolkit and log into WordPress admin dashboard to update paid ones, so please implement this feature.
Especially considering that it's possible to update both free and paid plugins in the WP dashboard (in the menu "Updates").

WordPress Toolkit 4.7 now can update paid plugins & themes, if these updates are available in the WordPress admin area. Note that certain plugins and themes do not support automatic updates, but display notifications about update availability anyway. This particulal scenario isn’t fully supported yet.

Available since Let’s Encrypt Extension 2.8.3.

    https://ext.plesk.com/packages/f6847e61-33a7-4104-8dc9-d26a0183a8dd-letsencrypt

    “2.8.3 (24 October 2019)
[+] Introduced the allow-wildcard-certificates option (true by default) under the ext-letsencrypt section in the panel.ini file. If set to false, the option hides the feature of issuing wildcard SSL/TLS certificates in the interfaces of the Let’s Encrypt and SSL It! extensions.

Note: For the same purpose, users could earlier use the acme-protocol-version setting with the acme-v01 value. If you have this configuration, we recommend that you start using allow-wildcard-certificates set to false because the ACMEv1 protocol will soon reach end of life."

  6. Separate logo for each reseller

An opportunity not only to replace Plesk logo with a customized one, but to add a personal logo for each reseller, so that when reseller's customer logs into Plesk, he sees his reseller logo.

  8. Custom labels in WP Toolkit and additional filtering

Each WP Toolkit entry now has 5 predefinied labels (production, demo, testing, staging, development) to mark site with.

Would be great to have ability to create own label/labels.

Also, would be great to have ability to filter sites with marked label, i. .e. show me all sites with label "production" in WP Toolkit.

We have added the ability to filter sites by labels in WPT 4.7, please check it out.

Since we haven’t seen any examples of custom labels for more than a month (which was the second part of the request), we’re closing this request as completed. If anyone feels the need to have custom labels, please create a new request and provide examples of such labels, so we can better understand why they’re needed.

  10. Increase the logs available in MailEnable after log rotation

When installing Plesk with MailEnable, by default Plesk removes MailEnable logfiles every 24 hours.

According to this KB (https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001102353), this functionality is made in purpose to optimize mail statistics, but this is not acceptable.

Additionally, you are offering the possibility to apply this workaround (https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213397889), but this workaround is not valid for us because we don't want to customize the FTP and HTTP logs location and we have the log files in different disk volumes.

Please, provide the possibility to configure the log rotation settings for MailEnable respecting our hosting company needs.

  11. Search & Replace for Wordpress websites

This is highly desirable and basic feature.
When ever user enters "Hosting Settings" and changes the domain, Plesk will detect if a wordpress website is installed, if this domain has wordpress installed - a pop up will show up asking "Would you like to run Search and Replace in the database for the new domain?"

User will thick V and confirm.
Then a new pop up will show up showing:

    1. Creating restore point

    2. Running search and replace.

This feature will save a lot of Hosts the problem with customers / developers changing the domain and not figuring up why the…

Starting with WPT 4.6, WordPress administrators can automatically update their website URL in the WordPress database and wp-config.php file based on the actual current URL. This procedure is particularly useful after migrating a website from a different location like your local workstation. The Update Site URL feature is available in the “hamburger” (context drop-down menu) on a WordPress site card.

If you have feedback on this feature, let us know at our forum (https://talk.plesk.com) or other communication channels.

  15. Please remove the very annoying suggestion window when creating support tickets

It's really very annoying if the input field in the right area is reduced again and again when opening support tickets in order to offer unsuitable support articles. If the articles were at least helpful, the whole thing would still make sense. However, this is rarely the case. Even if you click it away and enter a new word, it will reappear immediately.

Hi, these suggestions are a part of a whole searching process on the Plesk Help Center website. It helps us in analysing what people search and it also helps people with suggestions. It is very important for us.
We will work on search improvements to show better results. Thank you for your feedback.

  16. The ability to add metadata to the header of File Sharing

I would like to be able to add metadata to the header of File Sharing.
Currently as I can see the file, where such changes can be done, is hardcoded, so it will be perfect if I can do such changes in Plesk directly.
    Thank you.

We’re happy to announce that Plesk Obsidian on Windows 2019 is available now in Amazon Marketplace. You can try it here: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/Plesk-Plesk-Obsidian-on-Windows-WordPress-Website-/B07Z7XLVKG.

If you have any feedback on the images, please let us know on the forum: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/plesk-obsidian-for-windows.749/

We’re closing this request since AMI images are available.

P.S. We also have published Plesk Obsidian for CentOS7 (https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/Plesk-Plesk-Obsidian-on-CentOS-7-WordPress-Website/B01N9MOK9H) and Ubuntu18 (https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/Plesk-Plesk-Obsidian-Ubuntu-1804-for-WordPress-Web/B01MR94PXU).

  18. Plesk Let's Encrypt and support for ECDSA certificates

As you probably know, Let's Encrypt supports ECDSA certificates. Shorter handshake time, fewer data to transfer, faster page load time in the result.

I suggest Plesk feature - add option choose between RSA and ECDSA certificate when signing with Let's Encrypt.

    Best regards, Mike

    2.7.2 (17 January 2019)
    • [*] In Plesk for Linux 17.8 and later, the extension now supports issuing ECDSA certificates. To have the extension issue certificates signed with ECDSA, add the following lines to the panel.ini file:

    [ext-letsencrypt]
    key-algorithm = ECDSA
    ecdsa-curve-name = prime256v1 ; can be omitted

If you have any feedback let’s discuss it on our forum: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/lets-encrypt-extension.336954/

  19. Use "Let's encrypt" to secure IMAP/POP/SMTP connections

Use "Let's encrypt" to secure IMAP/POP/SMTP connections to avoid "non valid certificate" messages with self signed certs.

  20. Plesk API - support for Wordpress cloning

I suggest creating an option to use Plesk API for cloning a Wordpress installation. This is well easy now in GUI environment but does not support third-party dashboard integration.

It would be great to implement this into Plesk API so clients would be able to create staging environment on one click without a need to login to the Plesk interface.
