make DANE for email avaible
In Plesk 18.0.54, published July 18th, 2023, Plesk has added the ability to add Transport Layer Security Authentication (TLSA) DNS records to domains’ DNS zones in Plesk. Such records are most commonly used to implement DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities (DANE). With this update the most popular DANE scenario is covered in Plesk for Linux.
Now, with Plesk 18.0.56, published October 10th, 2023, the SSL It! extension supports DANE that ensures reliable encryption for email transport. When a Let’s Encrypt certificate is being issued, TLSA DNS records of email services will now automatically contain information about the certificate.
Please let us know your thoughts on this feature or whether you require additional functions.

Thanks Weare Borg for the advert for mailinabox. Plesk is not that bad for email support, so I object to your assertion, which you may have sent around without editing. Once Plesk email and DNS set up you did not get blacklisted, even my Microsoft. Plesk does more then email. The TLSA Record for DANE is still a small issue as still too many domain providers do not support it. Mailinabox might be useful for home use, as a stand-alone. Plesk in VPS is cheap, alas Plesk for home use is astonishingly expensive, because I suspect their business model is for corporate sales and fewer help lines calls.

I'm waiting for DANE support for a year now. Why is it such difficult?

TLSA records and DANE are important for mail security and well documented major standards. There is no sensible reason to not support them in Plesk!

5 years later nothing added it seems, fun part some free control panels have it. Knowing Plesk its going to be paid because security is something you pay for.

At that price, it would need better support...

We need DANE support!

Support for safety and professional spam handling (no rspamd support, horrible standard spamassassin configuration etc.) is a mess. But at least the price for plesk is professional :-(

4 years and safety is not on the agenda of Plesk. Whats funny that free control panel software all ready has this option.

This functionality is an actual basic security requirement, not an exotic tech under testing... How come Plesk can't do it ?

@Plesk: Come on! This is a feature that takes a few hours to implement. Everything is already there in the backend system, it only requires frontend implementation.
SIDN (.NL Registry) is offering incentives for DANE signed domains. Also, internet.nl (a site that tests domains for support for security standards) is showing that DANE isn't active. Especially the last one is generating requests from customers.
We need this yesterday.
