Allow renaming of SSL Certificates from Let's Encrypt with auto-renewal
Allow renaming of SSL Certificates from Let's Encrypt with auto-renewal. We got other Certificates and want to use our naming-scheme. Which we can't.
Thank you for your input!
Unfortunately, we have to close your request, because over the years it has not become quite popular for further implementation.

I think it should be the users choice how it's certificates are named. It seems like an error to me to find out which certificate has been automatically generated by name. One additional database entry could fix this. For me this is a bug, and no suggestion. Sorry, if this is not your opinion. But i wanted to try, so i might be able to automatically renew anytime in the future.

To be honest, i don't think there is any benefit needed. We got rules for naming of certificates to better find and sort them, as we got for database naming, webspace and subdomain naming and whatsoever. It's an error for me that a feature intended to be there cannot be used. As i encountered the failure of automatical certificate updates i got to a KB Article of Plesk. And there it was written that i should open a suggestion if i want to be able to rename certificates. Sure, this is no high priority issue. But i will need to renew them manually now. Our certificates are not named after domains, but after specific projects.
