add BROTLI support to nginx and apache
as brotli seams to be a up to 20% better comression library than gzip and used by many CDN Providers it should be possible to switch on in plesk.
I’m glad to inform you that we added Brotli support to nginx.
Brotli compression is enabled by default.
More details you can find here:

It took them years to add WebP support and that was just adding about 20 characters to Apache build is script. Don't hold your breath guys 😒

320 votes and they don't implement it, they just don't measure up to the amount of money they make with the licenses.

I am disappointed. Had hoped plesk obsidian would become more modern.

Support for Brotli is standard in apache and nginx since ages now.
A smart way to implement it would save a lot of CPU usage can be to create a cache with brotlied files managed using pagespeed. One question to plesk dev team :
Will it take as long as for the webP support to be delivered ?

Why voting for a feature which is essential and easy to provide? On the other hand all votes has been ignored for three years so it seems to be a plesk-joke anyway, isn't it.

Do we really still have to wait for this after more than 3 years?

BROTLI is doing the right thing when you know deep inside it really is.
