Move domains between subscriptions
This is a feature that needs to be brought to the Plesk Control Panel.
This request has been outstanding since Plesk 10:
http://kb.parallels.com/en/113938
This wasn't possible in Plesk 11.5.
http://kb.parallels.com/en/121606
It still does not appear possible in Plesk 12.
At the very least, breaking a domain out into its own subscription would be a good first step.
Search words:
I cannot move domain to another subscription
move webspaces
move a domain within a multi-domain subscription
multi-domain subscription
migration manager
transfer a domain
separate subscription
split subscription
break out domain from subscription
It’s done!
We’re happy to announce that Plesk Obsidian RTM with this feature is now available! Refer to Release Notes for the instructions: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/administrator-guide/website-management/websites-and-domains/domains-and-dns/adding-and-removing-domains.65150/#moving-domains.
We would appreciate hearing your feedback on the implementation of this functionality. If you’ve already tried the feature, please, participate in a short survey, it will only takes 3-5 minutes: https://pt-research.typeform.com/to/fz3KnI
We’d like to thank everyone who commented on this request and provided invaluable feedback. Thanks!

@Chris question 2 supposes a choice of the most common cause that you faced
> In regards to importance is 1 = high and 5 = low?
1 is the lowest and 5 is the highest degree of importance—ZB

Hi ZB, looking at your survey, for question 2 where is the 'all of the above' option. I've had cases for all of them.
In regards to importance is 1 = high and 5 = low?

A Domain moving expl. 1 or 2 domains of 20 domains from one owner to an other owner is a normal thing, but only plesk will not allowed! Where is the innovation of Plesk, when they now, that this feature many years is not exists?

Yeah wow, I have three things we bump into, all related to this strict Subscription nonsense:
- Can't make an Alias the Main domain for websites or mail within any subscription, or the other way around.
- Can't move domains or alias domains to another Subscription. Can't move the domain's mail users or settings or content between Subscriptions.
- Can't create LetsEncrypt certs for any of the Alias domains, not even while they're not even redirecting to the Main domain. That's all just, well, stupid coding design. I can even do all these with webmin/virtualmin. And I really wonder why we even went with plesk/odin for about 80 of our customers. I wasn't there when they made the choice. Obviously.

@Ludovic,
We can assure that the item is not forgotten and stays high in our backlog. But the capacity is finite and at this moment there are 4 higher ranked requests to take care about - so while I personally regret for your pain in regards of this function, we shall also respect votes of a larger group.> Why do we have uservoice if Plesk is not listening?
With all due respect to your personal frustration, this statement is totally unfair: 123 requests have been delivered since the uservoice had been launched. That's something. -

Why do we have Uservoice if Plesk is not listening? It is the only functionality totally ignored!

By the way, do you think that we should wait for a solution from ODIN ???
-
Giovanni Colin commented
15 months later and still nothing!!!
I am quite pissed off that I have chosen PLESK - Any open-source solution would have already proposed a solution! -

Absolutely a must have!

come on guys... how come this is still not possible? it's 2016!
this is such a basic, simple feature. -

Is changing cl_id in the domains table the only thing that needs to be done here? I've done that with a few now with no side effects but would like confirmation.

Please do that we need it. Atomia have it but Plesk do not
