Search mail logs from Gui
We have many support requests from our customers (non technical) to search logs and find if a message was sucessfull delivered and consume much from our support.
If the customer could search logs from a specific sender ou destination, filtering by date, will be great for us.
We released the ‘Mail Log Browser’ extension
https://ext.plesk.com/packages/942273dc-a99b-4744-9e8f-c4a4b047c63d-log-browser
This extension allows you to check the statuses of all emails sent to and from your server by reviewing maillog and filtering by date, source, or any string pattern; also it’s possible to check mail logs in real-time (‘tail -fn0’ analog).
It’s available for Plesk Administrators and supports Postfix and Qmail mail servers.

This is not completed. The original request reads "customer could search logs from a specific sender", which is still not possible.
This should be re-opened.

This extension does not solve the request since the extension works on Linux only. We need it for Windows

In general a log browser should and must be included in a software which is designed to be used graphically.
I don't understand why a log browser is not included as standard, it can't be that difficult or time consuming. It is simply displaying data that already is logged by the server...

Hello Mike
Thanks for your feedback.
Our solution is surely not perfect and we will always try to increase funcionality in future release, For now plugin retrieve most important data of mail log, you can easily search by any data with the search field (date, sender, state of mail sent). About spam, what data you need (remember that we only retrieve information in mail-log file)? -

Hello Configbox,
Your solution does not really do what this feature is about. Maillog shows sent/received for a particular domain plus it does not give details. if I knew the domain a simple grep of maillog would show me the info I need. We need to see all emails passing and filter by date, domain ,spam etc...

It would be great if we could search the maillogs like in Magicspam, for example *@example.com as the receiver, and see what mails have been blocked in the past 30 days.
Sometimes I have customers telling me someone cant reach their email address and want to know what other mails have been blocked. In Magicspam I could search for al mails sent to that email address and then export the list so I could send it to my client for reviewing. -

This should be free, other panels have this feature as default.
