Search mail logs from Gui
We have many support requests from our customers (non technical) to search logs and find if a message was sucessfull delivered and consume much from our support.
If the customer could search logs from a specific sender ou destination, filtering by date, will be great for us.
We are planning to make system logs (panel.log, autoinstaller.log, mail server logs, etc) accessible in Plesk UI via Log Browser.
+1 for this, something like "Track Delivery" in cPanel would be great
In general a log browser should and must be included in a software which is designed to be used graphically.
I don't understand why a log browser is not included as standard, it can't be that difficult or time consuming. It is simply displaying data that already is logged by the server...

4 years, you continue "planning" ????
+1 for me !
Dear Plesk Team, do you have any news on the release date of this feature ?
Thanks in advance for the support.

Still waiting for this Feature ... Should be no big deal to implement as you already got Log Viewer Components ... just make general Logfiles available through them and lot's of your Customers would be happy ... come on ... plz! ;-)
Thanks for your feedback.
Our solution is surely not perfect and we will always try to increase funcionality in future release, For now plugin retrieve most important data of mail log, you can easily search by any data with the search field (date, sender, state of mail sent). About spam, what data you need (remember that we only retrieve information in mail-log file)?
Your solution does not really do what this feature is about. Maillog shows sent/received for a particular domain plus it does not give details. if I knew the domain a simple grep of maillog would show me the info I need. We need to see all emails passing and filter by date, domain ,spam etc...
By our side, we will continue to work on new features of this extension.
We have published an new update today.
In this new version, there are several new features :
- You will see the country of each ip in log-in tab (the maxmind database is used for this).
- There is an new tab of configuration, on this page you can :
* Select usual country connection to your mailbox account.
* Enable option to receive a notification email (an email is sent to server admin and client user of domain) if pop/smtp connections that are not in your selection are detected
* Enable option to change mailbox password if pop/smtp connections that are not in your selection are detected (new password appear in notification mail)
* The checking is made once per hour by crontab about the last past hour logs pop/smtp connections.
We have also solved 2 bugs
- The sorter bug date
- Added forward mail to logs in and out
One of the objective of this update is to enforce security to hacked mailbox.
Requested 2014, Planned 2016, Complited ?

It would be great if we could search the maillogs like in Magicspam, for example *@example.com as the receiver, and see what mails have been blocked in the past 30 days.
Sometimes I have customers telling me someone cant reach their email address and want to know what other mails have been blocked. In Magicspam I could search for al mails sent to that email address and then export the list so I could send it to my client for reviewing.
Hello YEAR 2020
Isn't it too long for the plan ?
This should be free, other panels have this feature as default.
Thanks for this ext, almost we will be able to offer an cheap solution to our clients.
Good morning. There is a new extension for this : https://ext.plesk.com/packages/0faeac08-2768-42e3-8403-a6321bb861f5-mail-log it is not a free extension, but developed by our team. We have tried to put a cheap price to make it accessible to the vast majority of plesk customers.
Is there anymore information inregards to this been added, its been requested since 2014 and nothing heard since doesnt seem to great
Let's do it! Customers unfortunately are so smart and need mail logs already

Hi Rick, you're right. this kind of feature is available in Directadmin since I've started using it 12 years ago..
Plesk staff answered positively about this (simple) feature on August 2016. It is January 2019, will it be ready before a human lands on Mars?
