Actually this has become very urgent for me since I use Moodle Learning Management Software in its latest version which requires at least MySQL 5.5.31 but finds version number 5.5.5.10.0.32.0.8.1 - Please upgrade MariaDB to at least 5.5.31 asap - or at least make sure, that Moodle can read find the version number 10.0.32-0+deb8u1 that my Onyx17.5 says it got can be read out correctly by programs like Moodle. Thanks a lot!

If you mean PostgreSQL, we support 9.4 version in the current 12.5 version – https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/12.5/software-requirements/#s4-2-1 and upcoming Plesk Onyx – https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/17.0/software-requirements/#s4-2-1
We will officially support next versions if many people will support your request. But I think that you can try to use 9.5 version right now. It should work, but we have not tested it yet.

In Plesk 18.0.54, published July 18th, 2023, Plesk has added the ability to add Transport Layer Security Authentication (TLSA) DNS records to domains’ DNS zones in Plesk. Such records are most commonly used to implement DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities (DANE). With this update the most popular DANE scenario is covered in Plesk for Linux.
Full DANE support including UI improvements for all supported operating systems and versions is planned to become available by the end of Q3/2023.

Thank you for your input! We will consider functionality to implement ability to set TLS as required for email connections in upcoming releases if it will be popular.
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.
Please note that STARTSSL is a service of StartCom and there are issues with them to stay in CA role http://www.pcworld.com/article/3129725/certificate-policy-violations-force-reform-at-startcom-and-wosign.html so STARTSSL support will not be implemented in Plesk.

In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.54, published July 18th, 2023, the ability to tune the MySQL/MariaDB server performance was added to Tools & Settings > Performance Booster (under “General Settings”).
Please try it and let us know here what further improvements you would like to see.

To use latest Moodle software, please configure MariaDB default settings to use 'innodb_file_format = Barracuda' and 'innodb_file_per_table = 1' as default with 'innodb_large_prefix' set to 'ON' and 'default-character-set = utf8mb4'
see https://docs.moodle.org/34/en/MySQL_full_unicode_support
THANKS A LOT!!
