    @Erik Kraijenoord

    You're right. There is no official documentation yet. But with a bit know how it is possible to install your own roundcube version, standalone. -> https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/blob/master/INSTALL

    We will be shortly launching a blog which shows some plesk hacks.

    webdiz commented  ·

    @anonym This would make no sense, since roundcube is open source and easy to install without Plesk. We are using a custom roundcube installation with version 1.4 on our server.

    Could you please be more specific? ssh and ftp are different protocols. What do you mean “SSH key support for the ftp remote backup”? And what do you mean “consider to add S3 compatible backups”? What is the desired usage scenario of this feature? What are the expected benefits of this feature?

    I just found the "Amazon S3 Backup" extension (https://www.plesk.com/extensions/s3-backup/). This is exactly what I needed, thanks!

    Sorry, it was a bit confusing. I mean another authentication for FTPS-Backup, or better: SFTP, which uses the SSH protocol and a login with a key would be possible.

    For S3 backup I mean that you can connect the Plesk backup manager with an S3 bucket and then configure planned backups which are uploaded over the S3 API directly into this bucket. Cloud Storage is secure, easy to handle and copy to multiple locations (for example a copy of S3 bucket to a S3 Glacier Bucket in another data center location) and also very inexpensive in comparison to normal server with ftp access.

    We are all instructed on a autodiscover/autoconfig feature for Outlook and Thunderbird. Many users are using Plesk for customers and so also me. I loose customers because they can't connect properly with the email over Outlook.

    We need Autodiscover with the possibitly to manage multiple email domains over one main email server.

    Example:

    customer1.com
    customer2.com
    hoster.com (the plesk instance)

    mail@customer1.com
    mail@customer2.com
    connect over mail.hoster.com with autodiscover/autoconfig.

    Please add this feature!

    This would be very important! When I try it with custom configs and SRV records it doesn't work..
    Please add this in next updates.

    It would be way more important to add this feature then changing the admin username..

    This is a valid request, so we’ll look into it. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features.

    The original request contains a manual solution, so, we consider to automate it. Please, add a comment if your case will not be solved with that solution.

    Thanks in advance!

    @Eureka Truthteller
    Nah sorry, I use Plesk since many years and need many functions of it. It's the best one for me.

    Would be really helpful, please implement this.
