Introduce notification threshold on disk space usage
Customers exceed the allocated disk space. A notification is sent. But customers don't want this notification when they exceed the allocation, but BEFORE they exceed it so that they can react to a warning in a timely manner and won't face overuse charges.
Why is this a problem? Some users don't check their email regularly. They feel pressured to pay an overuse fee if they are not allowed "enough" time to react to an overuse situation.

Migrating tool for Apache2 (Wordpress) linux server confs and sites.
Just reading with ssh root access /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ and listing sites to be copied with their files and databases. Also Nginx sites.

Under Users, add "Admin Tools & Settings" to "Open Sessions Management" to “Security Access View Active Sessions” to logoff inactive users.
Presently, if a session is interrupted, admins have no way to end an inactive user. Some times I get this:
"Warning: Another user with the same username ([shows user name here]) is already logged in to Plesk."

Create SSL certificate using list of DNS records if enabled
When creating SSL certificates with letsencrypt we get a list of subdomains to add, but this list is only for subdomains created in plesk, it would be better if in this list there was also the list of domains in the DNS settings that are CNAME of the domain or that point to the same ip
This would allow to generate certificate for the mail domain for example to secure emails without needing a wildcard certificate

1 voteThank you for your suggestion. We appreciate your input. Unfortunately because of technical limitation it's not possible to secure domains based on DNS records as there is not way validate the (sub) domains belonging the a CNAME records when those don't point to the same webspace.
A workaround could be (depending on the exact use case) to add (sub) domain as an alias to the primary domain.

More easy MariaDB Upgrade

Happy with the new tool in PLESK MariaDB Upgrade.... long waited for...
Snapshot VPS is created at ARGEWEB via portal.

Recovery of Databases from general Plesk Backup Management
Error when restoring backups of databases using general Plesk Backup Management..
If databases have been created which do not contain any tables, the empty database will not be filled with tables when the databases are restored again, will remain empty.
The Plesk database file is selected -> opened to see the options of what you want to do with it. In my case, I want to restore a database.
There should be a question when you are already in import mode for "Databases" -> "Select database" -> "Overwrite empty databases" and "Overwrite all old databases (security question when confirming "restore",…
1 voteThank you for your suggestions Jan. We appreciate your input. However when restoring objects, such as databases, from a backup it's expected that existing objects will be overwritten by the objects from the backup. That's the nature of restoring backups.
That's why unfortunately we are unable to consider your suggestions for additional user confirmations when restoring backup. We appreciate your understanding.
As for restoring an empty database we ran some tests but were unable to reproduce the result you're describing. If you encountered any issues with restoring an empty database from a backup we suggest you contact Plesk support for an investigation of the issue.

HTTP/3 for Apache users
Recently Plesk announced that has implemented HTTP 3 for Nigix but this is not available for Apache users.
Also with Plesk Obsidian 18.0.61 I dont have HTTP 3I'm so asking to implement HTTP 3 also for Apache.
1 voteThank you for your suggestion! Unfortunately Apache currently does not support HTTP/3. Which is why Plesk cannot implement HTTP/3 support for Apache.

Add 'Show ip log' to Fail2Ban or at least the service which last triggered the ban
When an address is banned by Fail2Ban, Plesk panel only shows as info somthing like this:

maxretry = 5? could be possible to add another line like:
2024-05-03 23:22:27,997 fail2ban.actions [1120]: NOTICE [plesk-dovecot] Ban 82.61.142.122
? or a button to view all /var/log/fail2ban.log rows which mention the banned IP (82.61.142.122 in this case)
that will avoid the need to open a shell and using grep on the log files.

Add an ability to remove ?dom_name= from the appended version of the url in custom buttons
I have added a custom button for clients to check domain propogation at https://www.whatsmydns.net.
I have noticed there are a few options to add extra parameters on the custom button page.
when visiting whatsmydns I noticed the url is appended like https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/?dom_name=ywrcloud.uk once a search is performed. I am looking to change the url redirection to https://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/?dom_name=ywrcloud.uk but didnt find any such option in Plesk to change the url redirection to custom settings i.e. to remove ?dom_name= from the appended version. Spam
I am using Plesk to send emails to group of 990 adresses, I have a 15000 adress base as a french elected representative. They now systematically go into spam, and many are blocked. How can I make my adress recognized so that it does not go into spam, please ?

Change default awstats retention to 12 months
The default is 3 months. That's a useless period of time. It should be at least 1 year. I just changed 2 servers to 10 years (120 months). I have an angry client that they can't pull up stats from June 2023 and it's February 2024
1 voteThe retention time depends on the log retention setting. If your log rotation is set to keep logs for 3 months only, the same applies to your statistics. If you set your log rotation to 12 months retention, statistics will be retained for the same time, too.

DNS access for domain from SSL Certificate Registration
When registering a new SSL certificate using Let's Encrypt, is there no way you can give access to add the challenge TXT record on the DNS directly from the SSL form providing the Chalenge key. Having to have more than one form open one on domains and the other on the website config is crazy. it will just make life so much easier.
