  1. Please enabling control of the WordPress update notification display.

The reason is the function of WordPress Tool Kit may become unusable at all, when WordPress has been updated to new major version by user.

Perhaps, I think that to solve by applying the new MU, but I want to test enough for that.

It takes time of apply of the new MU by test and they can't use WordPress Tool Kit during this period.

  2. code editor should include features like - intellisense, linter, snippets & syntax support

    IntelliSense Technology:

is the general term for a number of features: Quick Info, and auto completion/correction, that help in keeping track of the parameters you are typing, and add calls to properties and methods with only a few keystrokes.

    Code Linting:
is the process of running a program that will analyse code for potential errors. lint was the name originally given to a particular program that flagged some suspicious and non-portable constructs (likely to be bugs) in C language source code.

    Syntax Support:

associates a set of nested statements, in certain code, that is delimited.

    Code Snippets:

  3. Support for ASP.NET MVC5 in Plesk 12

    As seen here: http://kb.odin.com/en/123736
    Plesk 12 doesn't support MVC.
We're using plesk for shared hosting and this feature is often asked by our clients.

  5. Add a FTP user permissions management panel

I regularly need to set FTP users in order to share files, to allow customers to upload or download files on our server.

But, if I can create different users for each customer, I cannot choose the permissions : read, write, upload limit etc.

It would be really useful to have these options in the FTP panel to manage users rights.

  8. add an option to schedule a server reboot for some point in the future.

Under Tools & Settings->Restart Server, add an option to schedule a reboot for some point in the future rather than rebooting the server immediately.

  13. A button to manually reissue SSLs for all domains

Can we get a button to manually reissue SSLs for all domains and subdomains?

I had a few issues in the past year because SSLs didn't automatically renew which made me lose hours with support tickets.

I would prefer to hit the button "Reissue SSL for domains" once every 60 days over relying that everything will just work automatically.

Reissuing SSL certificates for all domains on a server cannot solve any issue. Reissueing certificates automatically makes no difference to the automatic renewal attempt of SSLIt/Let's Encrypt. Instead, the correct solution to solve renewal issues of certificates is to check the "Keep websites secured" checkbox on the SSL page of the domain. Then, if aliases or subdomains that were formerly included in a certificate , that have been removed meanwhile are now missing can be excluded from the automatic renewal process. A second reason why such a reissue button for all domains is a bad idea is that LE rate limiting will be hit on servers with a certain number of domains. For many users it will then become impossible to issue new certificates for a certain ban time.

So overall this feature request cannot be an appropriate approach to solve SSL renewal issues. We must decline it.

  14. Mautic Toolkit

Mautic is the most popular open source software for marketing automation. It would be nice to see a Mautic Toolkit like Wordpress Toolkit or Nexloud Toolkit for Plesk.

Mautic's marketshare is around 1.2 % at the beginning of 2023. This feature request has only received 7 votes in 4 years, so our overall impression is, that this is no yet a quite popular feature. Instead, please ask Mautic to develop an extension for Plesk if they would like to see their product integrated in Plesk. A free API for extension development is available.

  15. Adapt resources according Plesk license

I have a really powerful hardware, however I still see how low values are by default on a 30+ domains license and such a server hardware: Plesk doesn't adapt to license or resources at all.

Ultimately, I do not like try increasing the value progressively and restart apache or any other service a few times on production server, then see when the issue comes back because I didn't increase it enough approach.
It would be better if there was an automatic increase of the values, if applicable, depending on your license and/or system resources.

This seems like a great feature at first sight, but it is way beyond what a panel can and should do. Most of the tweaks that are hardware related must be done on the operating system level in system service configurations, security configurations etc. And these all play together. For example /etc/httpd/conf.d/fcgid.conf, /etc/httpd/conf.d/apache_limit.conf, /etc/sysctl.conf, /etc/nginx/ulimit.global_params, rlimit_files in all php-fpm.conf files, /etc/xinetd.conf and many more. It is unpredictable what the right settings for a specific hardware and usage scenario are. Configuring the operating system so that it can handle the expected load must be left to the server administrator, because only he/she knows what is the best setting. Specific tweaks strongly depend on the expected usage, e.g. will the system host one website with a high number of visitors or many websites with a low number? Will it solely be simple PHP/MySQL or also be frameworks like NodeJS, maybe Ruby etc.?…

  16. Add an option to use a custom url to access MyLittleAdmin

It's not always feasible to add the mssql.<domain.tld> DNS entry for the websites hosted in Plesk.

Adding an option to configure a custom url/dns name to access the MyLittleAdmin tool with would be preferrable.

And make sure that "MyLittleAdmin" button under Databases would take the user to the global url if it's set.

In the nearest future, we plan to stop shipping MyLittleAdmin with Plesk. This is because MyLittleAdmin is not in active development, and has  known security issues. Instead, Plesk will provide links to downloadable  clients and instructions on how to connect the client to the Plesk  server. This change is currently scheduled to take place with the release of Plesk Obsidian 18.0.53 (early June 2023).

  17. Allow the usage of anonymize_ip on gzip files

Allow the usage of the Utility anonymize_ip for files that are compressed using GZIP.

The following command does not anonymize the IPs:
    plesk sbin anonymizeip /var/www/vhosts/system/domain.tld/logs/accessssl_log.processed.1.gz

You need to perform the following:
    gunzip /var/www/vhosts/system/domain.tld/logs/accessssllog.processed.1.gz
    plesk sbin anonymizeip /var/www/vhosts/system/domain.tld/logs/accessssl_log.processed.1

This is needed in order to have it working alongside with logrotate.

This request has not received many votes despite it was merged with a similar request to accumulate more votes. Also, GDPR has been in effect for many years now, so that only very few users might still have such old log files that need to be anonymized. As this request has not become popular, we must decline it.

  18. Keep backups if a customer account is deleted (optional)

The feature "Deleting a customer account now results in all backups belonging to that account being deleted as well" was implemented since Plesk Onyx 17.0.15

Add an opportunity to choose will the customer's backups be removed together with the customer or not

We have reviewed this request once again and still think, it makes no difference to keep backups of a "deleted" account compared to just keeping the account including the backups as "disabled". In both cases the result is the same: Data are kept and in case they are needed they can be restored. Actually the current situation is even better, because there you don't need to have a backup that has been created as a "backup" (e.g. in Backup manager), but you have the account content as long as you need it.

Your argument here was that in some cases law requires to keep backups of customer data. But what do you do if the customer did not create a "backup", e.g. with Backup Manager? Instead with simply disabling an account and deleting it later you always fulfill the requirement to have a "backup" of the customer's data. We believe…

  19. Add ability to manage additional users in Plesk Multi Server

It is already included in roadmap for Plesk Multi Server
    https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/multi-server-guide/about-plesk-multi-server/roadmap.77464/
However, it would be great to prioritize implementation of the feature, since it one of the basic functionality of managing accounts and users
