  1. Programmatically set Forwarding Proxy to Docker container

    If it becomes possible to set those proxies in a bash script the rules can be activated/deactivated when, for instance, we're running an update via any automated CI service.

  3. plesk repair db should fix dns_zone table

    To improve "plesk repair" utility so that it should be able to remove orphaned records from database's tables dnszone and dnsrecs, for domains that doesn't exist anymore.

  4. Backup Extension for Google Cloud / Amazon Glacier

    Plesk does currently only support Amazon S3. Amazon Glacier is cheaper than S3 and also good for backups. Also support for Google Cloud would be great since at the moment, Plesk does only support Google Drive which is no professional backup (example: https://github.com/plesk/ext-cloud-backup-example).

  5. Add the possibility to back up/include selected files and folders in the Backups

    Currently, it's possible to exclude some files/folders from backup creation: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000773605

    But this feature should be improved because in some cases excluding is not a valid solution.

    Let's say that there are multiple files and folders, as you can imagine, the list of exclusion would be too long and it would require a lot of time to create it. Moreover, the list will need to be updated each time there are new folders on the webspace.

  6. Add new database formats to ODBC Data Sources menu

    Add .accdb and newer Excel versions to ODBC DSN. Currently, only .mdb and .xls up to Excel 8.0 are available (beside MySQL). Newer versions of database file formats should be supported by this feature.

  8. Add more granular permissions for database users

    Allow setting more granular permissions for the DB users

  9. PHP Openssl extension customization

    Enabling Tools & Settings > PHP Settings > Openssl does not provide a box for default config file customization. The default one is c:\usr\local\ssl\openssl.cnf.

    It would be nice to have the possibility to customize this value from Plesk

  10. Email notifications/alerts for Modsecurity (WAF)

    It will be great to have the ability to receive an email notification from Modsecurity (WAF) when protection has been breached with corresponding breach information (SQL injection, Command injection, Cross-site scripting, etc.).

  11. Organize WordPress sites into groups for easy managing

    We manage Wordpress Sites for our Customers in different Levels, like managed Bronze-, Silver- or Gold-Level.
    If we can group the Wordpress-Sites, it will be easy to select all Gold-managed Sites for Updates, Optimisations, etc.
    A field for comments would also be fine.

  12. Ability to set sender email address from Plesk

    As a Plesk administrator, I would like to set the sender email addres for PHP scripts.

    The below article isn't applicable when using e.g. WordPress.

  13. dnssec, insert DS records in DNS zone via button, or automatically

    When signing a domain with the Plesk DNSSEC plug-in DS records are created and one can copy that to clipboard.

    It would be comfortable if there is a button/option to insert these records automatically in the domain zone.

  14. docker proxy rule respect host/ip

    when mapping a port to the host it is possible to bind it to a host/ip too.

    # docker run --name test -p 127.0.1.1:80:80 ...

    # docker port test
    80/tcp -> 127.0.1.1:80

    When building a docker rule now in plesk the host/ip is ignored and the proxy_pass goes for the default ip 0.0.0.0:

    proxy_pass http://0.0.0.0:80;

    The rule should respect the host/ip.

    proxy_pass http://127.0.1.1:80;

  15. Passenger to log output separately per domain basis

    Currently all passenger NodeJS process output their logs to /var/log/apache2/error.log.

    Would be good to be able to log output separately per domain basis, so every domain has it own log inside the folder.

  16. Monitoring Mailbox activity

    Feature in Plesk GUI to monitor Mailboxes activity:
    - Know which mailboxes didn't have activity in a specific period of time. For example, this would be useful to clean up mailboxes without activity.
    - Know which mailboxes activity with forwarding enabled in a specific period of time.
    - Possibility to cleanup selected mailboxes from same GUI.

  17. Do not count local forwarded messages by Outgoing Mail Limit

    Hello.

    Currently Outgoing Mail Limit counts local forwarded messages from existing mail boxes:

    Please add functionality to exclude messages forwared to the local mailboxes from counting by Outgoing Mail Limit.

  18. Migrate domain only

    Hello,

    Please add fucntionality to migrate only one domain from the subscription, including configuration, mail boxes and databases.

    For example, If I need to migrate an additional domain from a subscription and the subscription has a lot of additional domains, the migration of whole subscription is feasible.

  19. Configure restrictions and perimissions on subscription level for SEO Toolkit

    It would be very useful if an MSP can offer SEO Toolkit to their customers. At this point this is almost impossible for 2 reasons:
    1. Plans of the SEO Toolkit are not designed for hosting providers and MSP, but for end users and agencies. (there are not enough resources if you have a thousand clients on one server for example).
    2. There is no ability to set limitations and permissions for SEO toolkit based on the limitations of the module itself. E.g. Count of domains, urls to analyse, keywords, so now if a provider even buys the plugin as…
