  3. multiple postfix instances

According to Postfix documentation, multiple Postfix instances are supported. Would like to have such support implemented in Plesk

  4. Make Spamfilter Settings accessible for Mailbox Users

At this time, access to spamfilter settings for a mailbox are only possible for admins and website owners. Pls make it possible for logged in mailbox users to access and edit there own spamfilter settings.
It's very important, because on website's with many mailboxes, the admin often cannot support all users in setting up there spam settings.

  5. Don't Auto-Replay when X-Auto-Response-Suppress is set (RFC3834)

In order to comply with RFC3834 the auto replay function should consider the X-Auto-Response-Suppress header. Also not replaying to mail with Auto-Submitted: auto-generated would be nice.

  6. Implement Dovecot LMTP

    Implement Dovecot LMTP.
Currently LDA is used for mail local delivery.
LMTP has a better performance and using it allows to avoid "Inotify instance limit for user (UID popuser) exceeded, disabling. Increase /proc/sys/fs/inotify/maxuserinstances" issues.

This feature request has been reviewed and despite the explanation we are having difficulties understanding what exactly is meant. Is this about sending mails from the server or is this about receiving mails that are addressed to a mailbox on the server? Could you please describe this in more detail who is sender, who is recipient and what you would like to exclude from happening and why?

  8. remote smartermail ssl

if smartermail is local install you can create a SSL for webmail. This doesn't work with remote smartermail.

I would like plesk to introduce this so some kind of agent is running on the server so Plesk can communicate with IIS on the remote web server to copy SSLs and bindings.

  9. Delete mails addressed to non-existent mail addresses, do not reject, but route them to null

Create a new option for mail to nonexistant mail in a domain, an option that allow discard this kind of mails. Actual options can cause unlimited bouncing if sender domain doesn't exist.

  11. Allow spaces in passwords.

I have been having all of my users use a sentence for their passwords. without spaces this is really going to confuse them. Just switching to plesk now.

  13. Force port 587 for submission

I would like to have the option to force users to use port 587 for submission, so they can't use port 25 to submit email, and this port 25 is only used for relay between smtp servers.

  14. Condition for Mail-Forwarding

Mailforwarding works fine for me, but it should be possible to restrict to certain conditions. The Switch "Enable Forwarding" should be a textfield where i can enter a email adress.

  15. Plesk Email Security - Support for Rocky Linux

    Hello,

I would be nice if you add Rocky Linux support for Plesk Email Security as soon as possible since we are many that are migrating away from CentOS.

  17. Add ability to sign DKIM when Mail service is disabled for domain

Currently, when mail service is disabled for domain the DKIM signature is not working.

It should be able to disable mailservices for specific domains (because 3rd party mail service like gmail, microsoft's exchange online etc. is used), while messages
sent by web application (php mail() function) should still have a valid DKIM signature.

It is required to add ability to sign DKIM when Mail service is disabled for domain

  18. SRV record for submission (587)

When Enable mail autodiscover AND Enable SMTP service on port 587 on all IP addresses are enabled within the Server-Wide Mail Settings, it'd be nice if Plesk would also create an according SRV record.
    _submission._tcp IN SRV 0 1 587 mail.domain.tld.
Currently, Plesk only creates smtps with 465.
    See https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc6186#section-3.1

  19. Possibility to choose the SMTP port to use. Or both ports

Possibility to choose the SMTP port to use. Or both ports

I know we have this option: enable SMTP service on port 587 on all IP addresses

But if that option is enabled, all services continue to use port 465. And it also continues to use postfix, for example.

The ideal would be to have an option that allows us, in some way, to select which SMTP port to use and that when the desired port is selected, it will automatically reconfigure (or ask us) postfix and other related options.

Of course, later I will have to modify my mail…

  20. Improve the autodiscover functionality for email significant

At the moment "auto discover functionality for email" in plesk is supported, but you can hardly call it "supported". Come on plesk team!

    • Outlook: barely supported, mostly isn't working
    • Thunderbird: supported, but not 100% (for example the outgoing server port I have configured as 587 in the SRV record is not applied)
    • Mac OS or iOS: not supported
    • other mail clients apps: barely supported

Please improve this functionality significant so plesk can correctly call this "supported".
