  2. Enable email subject and keywords to be blocked in spamfilter

Allow users and admin to select subject lines and keywords as well as keywords in the email body to be added to the spamfilter blacklist.

Currently spammers are just changing domains and sending the same email templates.

  3. Allow email accounts to change their own Webmail/SMTP/POP3 passwords without creating a Plesk user

We have lots of staff members who need an email address, but should not have access to Plesk in any way at all. Currently, the only way for them to choose a password, is to choose one and tell the Plesk Administrator what that password is, and have the Plesk Administrator configure their password for them. This is extremely unsecure. Something as simple as a 'send password reset link' button in the Email account configuration would work. This button would send an email to that account, and allow the email user to click on the link to change their Webmail/SMTP/POP3…

By default Plesk offer webmail service for each email account. Email user can easily change his password in webmail settings.

But anyway, thank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in case that Plesk no offer webmail in upcoming releases, if it will be popular.
Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

  4. sort, archive or filter (not spam) email on server directly when received

I'm using different (imap) clients on different devices to read emails. Many of them can be sorted / filtered / archived in specific subfolders by subject, sender or similar.
Most - but not all - clients can be configured to do so - but this means also to reconfigure several clients on rule changes.

So i'd like to suggest the possibility to handle emails on receiving on the server.
    E.g:
    - if sender ends with "domain.foo" or subject contains "project bar" then move to folder bar and mark as read
    - if sender is "foo@domain.bar" forward to "…

  5. Check details about POP3/IMAP/SMTP traffic for single email

Sometimes is useful check the details about POP3/IMAP/SMTP traffic for a single email, to look and find problems.

  6. Enable fetchmail feature

I would like to enable and configure fetchmail on mailbox level. Main reason is easy migration for customers to new hosting providers including moving mails from existing mail servers.

"fetchmail" is already installed together with PLESK, needs just to get properly configured.

  7. Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam

Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam

When a mail account has Auto-Reply and Spamassassin enabled, the Auto-Reply function should read the x-spam header and, if the incoming message was found to be spam, the automatic response should not be sent.

At the moment I often see Automatic replies stuck in the outgoing mail queue because they're being sent to spammers. This is silly!

  8. Implement DNS Whitelists

Plesk does not currently support DNS Whitelists like it does RBLs, such as the list at dnswl.org. There needs to be a way to add this from the Plesk UI.
The Postfix main.cf config directive is permitdnswlclient.
Whenever a Plesk upgrade happens, the setting, if added is removed and needs to be added back manually.

  9. disable automatic greylisting activation for new domains

If i add a new domain in a subscription, greylisting is automaticly activated, just because it's enabled on the server.

It would be much better if customers have to activate greylisting manually in their settings, like the spamfilter.

A workaround with Event Manager is possible but a bit inconvenient.

  10. Add to Server-Wide Black List and White List block by IP adress and DOMAIN name.

Server-Wide Black List blocking only by domain name is insufficient, because spammers can spoof real sender adress. Not every sender has SPF record configured. And also email White List needs whitelist by domain name to block common spammers with no fixed IP.

DKIM - needed to import own keys

It is not fair solution that Plesk generate a private key, and i cannot extract and date them in a seperate Backup

This feature request has been reviewed and we are asking WHY it is important to import your own keys? After all, these are just some keys that only have one requirement: They must match what is configured in DNS. What is the advantage of using some specific, pre-configured key over just letting the server generate and maintain the key? Isn't that much easier for a user?

Please give us good reasons why you need own keys in your comments so that we understand this better and can think of a suitable solution.

  13. Show currently/recently mail sending scripts

Use case: One of our customer has uploaded files to his ftp server in a public internet cafe and his password was stolen. Afterwards there was a mass spam mail sending script on his webserver. Our server has been landed in black lists. It was very difficult to find and correct it.

  14. Mail Delivery Reports

    Hi

I have tried to see if this idea has been mentioned but have not found one yet.

For a long time with my hosting provider i have been using WHM and since we have had to move to a new host and start to use plesk we are finding it great but missing a certain feature which we think could help other people and their clients as we get asked if we can check this from time to time.

Once feature we thought was great in WHM was the Mail Delivery Reports If somthing like this can be implemented…

  16. Dovecot: mdbox and alternate storage support

    http://forum.odin.com/threads/dovecot-mdbox-and-altmove-support-in-plesk.334620/

It would be really handy if we could, via Plesk panel or some cli utility, o switch from Maildir to mdbox as mailbox storage format and enable alternate storage for old emails. This way we can optimize the disk usage by using the fast storage media for recent emails, while the old stuff can go on a slower, cheaper media. Will also help a lot in growing our mail customer base without forking out ridiculous amounts of money for expensive fast disks arrays to keep up with the growth rate.

  18. Custom Email Server Help Tips

The settings for mail servers have a help tip in the email addresses management page, and in the users' Plesk Account pages.

If a Plesk server is set up strictly as a mail server, and has DNS handled remotely, the settings in the Help Tips can be incorrect.

Currently the tips only show the server as the root domain even if the mail server's actual DNS points (as an example) mail.domain.tld to the server, requiring the settings to include the subdomain.

If I add the domain as "subdomain.domain.tld" in settings, then the server tips are correct but the email addresses…

  19. Blacklist of recipient target addresses in the spamfilter (useful for wildcard mailboxes)

    Hello,
I miss the functionality of managing a blacklist of target email addresses in case you have a catchall email domain.
In most cases, the originator address of spam emails changes every time, but the target address is frequently used.
So with this functionality, I could drop out invalid recipient addresses, without giving up the setup to use catchall all emails <everything>@your-domain.
This is useful to register webshops or community everytime using a separate target email address to distinguish incoming email if they are valid or not.

  20. SPAM protection - Check if sender Mail domain exists

For better SPAM Protection it would be nice to add an Option to let the Mailserver check, whether senders Domain is existing or even not.

I got Mails from "Domain.xyz" wich is of Course no valid TLD.
"Reply-To" is of Course an valid Mail adress.

On request, my Data-Center told me they could activate that Option, but while Plesk is Controlling that config, on next Plesk update the Change gets lost.

So: Could you add in Plesk that Feature as an Option?
