  1. Sophos Anti-Virus extension notifications for blocked messages

There should be settings to allow configuring the Sophos Anti-Virus extension to send notifications to the recipient of a message that was blocked due to malware.

  2. Force certain group of users only (administrators or customers) to use 2FA, not all users.

Currently, when setting up 2FA, it is possible to enforce all users on server (administrators and customers) to use 2FA. The idea is to enforce the administrators to use 2FA, not customers or enforce customers instead.

  3. Detach and remove Node.js app from the Toolkit

Node.js Toolkit should have an option to remove Node.js apps after they've been installed on the website, and to detach them from the toolkit, like in WP Toolkit.

  4. Plesk Migrator should be able to migrate customers, Resellers and Service Plans that do not have any Subscriptions attached

Service Plans with no Subscriptions assigned as well as Resellers and Customers that do not have any Subscriptions assigned are not migrated via the Plesk Migrator to the new Plesk server by design, because they are considered obsolete and unnecessary.

Yet in many cases, such a transfer of data in necessary, due to which an option that allows this to happen should exist.

  5. View Full Content of Stuck Email in Queue

I would like to see the full content of the email that is stuck in the queue, rather than just the email headers and similar information. Currently, it is quite cumbersome to retrieve this information through the shell, and being able to view it directly would save considerable time and effort.

  6. Preserve custom Fail2Ban badbot configuration

At this point, /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/apache-badbots.conf is coming from the fail2ban package from OS repositories, which results in a loss of any customizations applied previously upon a Plesk update
Include /etc/fail2ban/filter.d/apache-badbots.conf into Plesk in order to be able to preserve the custom badbot configuration upon a Plesk version update

  7. Apache MPM optimization is hard to set correctly, suggestions that help setting the values properly should exist within the Plesk GUI

Since Apache MPM settings are hard to set correctly, there should be proposals and suggestions that help you set them properly within the Plesk GUI.

  8. Permission to manage hosting type

Add an additional permission that manages the ability to manage vhost type only (website, forwarding, no hosting). Currently this is bundled with "Domains management" permission, which if unchecked, will also not allow the creation of new domains.

  9. Configure SFTP storage for backups via CLI

Currently, the plesk bin backup-storage can be used to configure FTP remote storage for backups.

Please implement a similar feature that would allow configuring SFTP remote storage for backups via CLI.

  10. MIgration of Backups to Cheaper Alternatives

While you provide the ability to backup to different locations, whether on local disk, FTP, SMB share, or cloud you do not provide an ability to migrate backups through the tiers. First off local disk is the most expensive and you should only keep a small subset of backups. After that there should be an ability to migrate those backups to cheaper alternatives, like S3 storage, while continuing to preserve the metadata.

  13. separate user group for iwpd users

    For plesk on windows

It would be helpful if plesk created a separate user group for all IWPD users.

That would allow me to set specific security settings to that group.

See this kb article as an example: https://www.plesk.com/kb/support/access-to-cmd-exe-and-powershell-exe-how-to-allow-it-to-subscription-users-and-deny-to-iis-users-on-a-plesk-server/

Because the IWPD user and account user are in the same psacln group we cannot use that group to block cmd or powershell access (since the domain account apparently needs to be able to run those commands).

The workaround revolves around manually creating a new security group and manually adding those users to the new group, the obvious problem with that…

  14. Be able to change URL structure of domains in Preview mode

The preview in "Quick Preview" mode only allow a basic preview, without usage of SSL/TLS certificates, as the URLS begin with the IP address, like this:
    http://111.222.333.444/plesk-site-preview/www.some-website.com/

The "Quick Preview on a domain name in Plesk" could be improved. It allows to select an existing domain as a "support" for previewing websites. This sounds promising, as a SSL/TLS certificate already exists on this domain name.

But the problem is that the preview Urls generated by Plesk now use a different structure based on subdomains, like this: http://some-website.com.212-83-133-74.preview-domain.com/

This is rendering this functionality cumbersome : need to add this "some-website.com.111-222-333-444" subdomain…

  15. Listen on all IPs for all vhosts

Let the webserver for all vhosts listen on all IPs on a server. With Apache httpd you can use * instead of the IP (or list all IPs on a server). This would make it easier to migrate users between servers without having to manually check the IP to update the (external) DNS. This would also make it possible to prepare everything for IPv6 at the same time as you would only need to add AAAA records after this step.

  17. For security reasons: Turn off outputting PHP Version and also Webserver Version

    PHP configuration:
Add the following Lines for Security Reasons!

    exposephp = off
    server
    tokens off

Why didn't Plesk decide to make these lines available as options in Plesk, as options?
In my opinion, no one cares which version I use when it comes to port scanning / Showdan.io. Especially with Showdan.io, you can filter computers that are vulnerable in seconds, e.g. find web servers or PHP versions that are problematic.

I ask for options in the GUI for ON / OFF, although someone at Plesk should first explain to me why these version numbers of vo, web server Nginx…

  18. Add option to pass OCSP "must staple" to Let's Encrypt

It is possible to enable OCSP stapling, but not to pass the "must staple" option to Let's Encrypt, even though they support it, and it should be available in Plesk.

More people have pointed this out on the original post: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/7064969-include-oscp-stapling-directives-for-secured-sites
