  1. Allow CNAME to point to another CNAME

    Allow CNAME records to point to another CNAME record. Currently it is not possible to do so in Plesk and shows the error:

    Error: Incorrect combination of DNS records is present in the DNS zone.

  2. Add the possibility to check the content of a backup

    Add the possibility to check the content of a backup so it can be reviewed and identify if the backup contains the needed files / information such as by date, name, etc.

  3. Exclude internal requests from the Traffic statistics

    Plesk seems to add up the request response size,
    including those of its own extenal IP address.
    We would like to disable this behaviour or filter out this info, because
    this is not the actual traffic.

    We have customers that have a lot of internal requests because of some
    caching module where about 50% of the total traffic is from its own IP.

  4. Wordpress CPU and RAM usage stats and slow plugin warnings

    I would like to see the CPU and RAM usage by Wordpress applications.

    I would also like to see a warning about slow php scripts, which would help to catch Wordpress plugins that use too many resources.

  8. Manage placeholders of extension notifications.

    In Obsidian it's possible to add different placeholders to Plesk notifications(for example "subscription overuse").
    It's not possible to add placeholders to extension notifications for WordpressToolkit and Let'sEncrypt

    Feature is to be able to manage extensions notifications by adding different placeholders like below

  9. Let's encrypt wildcard for domain aliases

    Currently, when requesting a wildcard certificate for a domain with multiple domain aliases, only the main domain gets a wildcard.

    Let say you have a main domain domain.com and have 3 subdomains domain.fr, domain.co.jp and domain.eu.

    When requesting a wildcard certificate including all aliases, you'll get :

    domain.com
    *.domain.com
    domain.fr
    domain.co.jp
    domain.eu

    where it would be more logical and usefull to have :

    domain.com
    *.domain.com
    domain.fr
    *.domain.fr
    domain.co.jp
    *.domain.co.jp
    domain.eu
    *.domain.eu

  10. Order custom buttons

    It would be great to be able to customize the order of buttons shown in the right sidebar from Plesk GUI. (see attached image: default-order.png)

    For example, let's say to move the last button to the first position, so the customer will notice about it. (see attached image: custom-order.png)

    We are setting different custom buttons in Plesk for our customers and we want to set this custom order to call the attention of the end-user over the default Plesk buttons.

  12. Add option to Whitelist IP in Fail2Ban and mod_security

    I always need to whitelist IPs in Firewall, Fail2Ban and mod_security.

    u could add at least an option to also whitelist fail2ban in mod_security or even make two checkboxes in Firewall whitelisting to whitelist ip in all three modules.

    also usage of dns instead of ip would be greate for example PayPal does recomment to whitelist dns for api!

  13. Manage notification during website copying

    Currently, when the website is copied a notification is sent to subscription owner of the target website.
    It would be good to add functionality to disable such notifications or change the recipient mail address.

  14. check passwords against Pwned Passwords API

    Plesk should check user typed passwords against Pwned Passwords API

    https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/v2

    that way you could further improve systems running Plesk against Brute-Force attacks - and Dictionary attacks

    WordFence plugin for WordPress is already offering this, checking WordPress administrator passwords against https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/v2

    it shouldn't be too much work to compare Plesk password hash between Plesk and https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/

    I would like to use this feature for all services (FTP, E-Mail, Plesk, WordPress, etc.)

    It makes a lot of sense to do this, there are no drawbacks
    it should be option that users can enable/disable
    if you don't need it, you can disable…

    Do you want to disable File Manager on a server or you would like to disable File Manager for particular customers only? And why?

    Your descriptions will help us to properly estimate if this idea is worth to be implemented or not.

  17. Passenger to log output separately per domain basis

    Currently all passenger NodeJS process output their logs to /var/log/apache2/error.log.

    Would be good to be able to log output separately per domain basis, so every domain has it own log inside the folder.

  18. Wildcard mail aliases

    Any kind of wildcard mail aliases (regex and/or /?) would be highly appreciated in order to realize a "allow form all but anything like..." handler. Example: Ban all info-@domain addresses.

    I had somenting similar at my old provider but not with new one using plesk. Now I need to insert dozens (hundreds) of addresses one by one...

    If there is already a way to realize something similar I was not able to find it (or my provider did not enable it)...

  19. Create a WordPress toolkit set of plugins for an already installed wordpress website.

    Hello,

    I know it's possible to create a "set" of plugins for WordPress toolkit for a new installation.

    But it would be amazing to be able to create such "set" of plugins for website already created under the WP-toolkit.

    In WP Multisite installations you have one single WP controlling many different websites and domains. "Cloning" a multisite installation seems to be a challenge, because when you clone a site, you need to mention a target where to clone the site to (a new URL, a new subdomain). As a multisite installation has many URLs, it seems impossible to clone these to one single domain. It will be unclear which domain is actually cloned or how to map source to target.

    But as always, we're open for ideas and would love to hear more details from you how you imagine the workflow. Please describe in your comments what you expect to happen when you clone a multisite installation, e.g. how you'd want to map source to target(s). Would you for example want to see a dialog where you can enter new domains and subdomains for each existing URL in the…
