   Do you want to disable File Manager on a server or you would like to disable File Manager for particular customers only? And why?

2. Passenger to log output separately per domain basis

   Currently all passenger NodeJS process output their logs to /var/log/apache2/error.log.

   Would be good to be able to log output separately per domain basis, so every domain has it own log inside the folder.

3. Wildcard mail aliases

   Any kind of wildcard mail aliases (regex and/or /?) would be highly appreciated in order to realize a "allow form all but anything like..." handler. Example: Ban all info-@domain addresses.

   I had somenting similar at my old provider but not with new one using plesk. Now I need to insert dozens (hundreds) of addresses one by one...

   If there is already a way to realize something similar I was not able to find it (or my provider did not enable it)...

   I know it's possible to create a "set" of plugins for WordPress toolkit for a new installation.

   But it would be amazing to be able to create such "set" of plugins for website already created under the WP-toolkit.

   In WP Multisite installations you have one single WP controlling many different websites and domains. "Cloning" a multisite installation seems to be a challenge, because when you clone a site, you need to mention a target where to clone the site to (a new URL, a new subdomain). As a multisite installation has many URLs, it seems impossible to clone these to one single domain. It will be unclear which domain is actually cloned or how to map source to target.

   But as always, we're open for ideas and would love to hear more details from you how you imagine the workflow. Please describe in your comments what you expect to happen when you clone a multisite installation, e.g. how you'd want to map source to target(s). Would you for example want to see a dialog where you can enter new domains and subdomains for each existing URL in the source multisite?

6. Redirect Plesk from HTTP to HTTPS on Windows

   Redirect http://hostname:8443 to https://hostname:8443 on Windows.

   Currently only Plesk on Linux can do this.

7. Don't Auto-Replay when X-Auto-Response-Suppress is set (RFC3834)

   In order to comply with RFC3834 the auto replay function should consider the X-Auto-Response-Suppress header. Also not replaying to mail with Auto-Submitted: auto-generated would be nice.

10. Allow the use of LetsEncrypt for default certificates

    I would like to be able to use the Let's Encrypt extension to add new certs to the "list of certificates in server pool" and make use of a Let's Encrypt (LE) cert as the "default certificate" for domains that have not added their own specific certificate.

    I thought this was already possible, but was incorrect. I added a LE cert on the Tools/Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates page, and made it the default certificate.

    However, I used a different certificate to secure the Panel and the mail server. It appears, in that case, the LE cert will never be renewed.

    I would like to have the LE certificate renewed if it's set as the default cert even if it is not used to secure the Panel or the mail server.

    I don't consider using LE certs a good idea to secure the mail server because some e-mail clients, especially Apple clients, break when the cert is changed or renewed, causing end user support problems. Due to this, I use a different cert, that lasts for 2 years, to secure the mail server, to avoid that issue happening frequently (every 90 days). See...

13. Deny access to all dot files by default

    A lot of web applications that are either built or simply installed on a website use dot files and folders, whether those be .htaccess, .git, .env, etc.

    Generally speaking dot files and folders are used to store either sensitive files or backend configuration which you would never want users to be able to access.

    By default Apache has some protection built-in to restrict accessing dot files, but Nginx does not. This creates a potential security risk, for example I might install a web application or build one which has dot files in the public root, these most likely would be .htaccess and .git folders. Now if the site was running using Apache I probably wouldn't need to worry, but if I disable Apache and use only Nginx, these dot files and folders become accessible, and there is no guarantee that I would remember or even know I needed to deny access to dot files, I might simply assuming Plesk or the web server would do it for me. Just today I went through all of our websites and added additional Nginx configuration to restrict access to dot files and folders, but this means for months someone may have been able to read .htaccess files and .git folders, giving them insight into potentially sensitive information. I imagine I'm not the only one who didn't consider that Nginx doesn't deny access to dot files, so imagine how many similar cases are out there.

    To address this issue I am proposing that Plesk add new default configuration to each website in the Nginx config which denies access to dot files, and then provide an option in the "Apache & nginx Settings" screen to enable access to dot files, this in the rare case where the administrator might want dot files to be accessible (maybe Plesk is running on an internal dev environment or something similar).

14. Add <ip1>, <ip2>, <ip3> placeholders to DNS template

    Mail server on windows sends email from specific IP
    It's required to setup SPF record in DNS template to include all server public IP addresses.
    If mail server outgoing IP and public IP is changed in the future, the DNS will update the new IP automatically for all domains.

    Example: "v=spf1 ip4:<ip> ip4:<ip2> ip4:<ip3> ~all"

16. Log changes in the DNS zones to the Action Log

    Currently, logging DNS zone changes is limited to the fact that there was a change:

19. Update or Status notifications from the WP-Toolkit by E-Mail

    In the Plesk WordPress Toolkit there is so far no possibility to switch on a notification if something changes in the status of a page. e.g. SSL / security settings or the latter and most interesting updates! For WordPress there are several plugins that take over the update notification function, but they don't always work. But since the WordPress toolkit has the function, it would be great if you could turn on an e-mail notification!

    Really need to have an user access via ssh to only httpdocs folder not root.
