  1. Implement Dropbox's (zxcvbn) password strength library

    Please consider implementing Dropbox's password strength library in future versions of plesk. https://github.com/dropbox/zxcvbn

    Right now (Plesk Onyx Version 17.8.11) very secure passwords such as applaud-bisque-batch-forefoot won't even pass the "medium" filter, and very bad passwords such as Pa$$word123 are marked "Strong".

    Brute force cracking continues to get more sophisticated and the current strength ratings are misleading.

    Please add ability for Plesk administrator to disable Plesk customers to change their Plesk UI password.

    Message from customer:
    I am working on a separate account management panel and I want the customer to log in with the same password. Can I prevent the user changing the password in Plesk.

  3. Restrict customers from granting access to panel for mailboxes

    Give administrator permission to restrict ability to enable access to panel for newly created mailboxes and existing mailboxes for customer.
    So the checkbox "Access to the Customer Panel" is not going to be visible under customer in Domains > example.com > Email Addresses > Create Email Address or for already created mailbox.

  5. Functionality to define on the service plan the WordPress version can be installed or cannot be installed

    Hello, guys Would be amazing to have a functionality to define what version the customer/subscription can install via WordPress toolkit.

    Example.

    I only want my customer to install the lasted version and all the other options are unavailable.

    Please consider implementing more options for customization of password strength - for example disalbing it, setting allowed password to have lower than 5 symbols or the opposite - increase number of symbols required for a password.

  8. Plesk Mobile with secure FTP support

    In a Plesk server configured with "Allow only secure FTP" the Mobile App throws the following error: "550 ssl/tls required on the control channel"

    Mobile App should connect with secure FTP by default, and if the server does not support secure ftp, then connect with plain text.

  11. Monitoring Mailbox activity

    Feature in Plesk GUI to monitor Mailboxes activity:
    - Know which mailboxes didn't have activity in a specific period of time. For example, this would be useful to clean up mailboxes without activity.
    - Know which mailboxes activity with forwarding enabled in a specific period of time.
    - Possibility to cleanup selected mailboxes from same GUI.

  12. fail2ban and Cloudflare ServerShield Blocking

    The default behavior of fail2ban adding an offending ip address to iptables doesn’t do much if the website is protected by Cloudflare ServerShield which proxies the requests to Plesk server.
    Please consider adding the capability whereby if fail2ban is activated on a Plesk server and a hosted website is protected by Plesk Cloudflare ServerShield extension, an offending IP address should also be added via a cloudflare api call to cloudflare firewall rules for the affected website. This way the Plesk server is protected at a minimum for that website which might be under a DoS attack.

  13. Use Lets Encrypt to secure FTPs connections

    Hi,

    I usually use the ftp.site.com subdomain for the client FTP connections.
    And to secure those connections I enabled FTPs. But at this point the users receive a certificate host name mismatch because the FTPs connection is being setup using the VPS Lets Encrypt cert.

    It would be nice to use the Lets Encrypt certificate service also to secure the FTPs connections.

  14. Allow disabling SPF checks for a specific domains

    Right now spf hook checks incoming mail for all domains if it is enabled in Tools & Settings > Mail Server Settings.
    There is no simple way to disable it for some domains/subscriptions that may not need it present.

  15. Allow direct access to Backup Manager from Files tab.

  17. WordPress plugin restoration point

    Would be great to have WordPress plugins to be able to have restoration points on a plugin upgrade basis and not only for WordPress major upgrades.

    This way, WordPress plugins can be managed individually with more control over them.

    We’d like to introduce this feature, but we’ll have to solve certain technical difficulties first (for example, properly handle cases where database structure is updated by a plugin and you want to roll the changes back). We’re positive that we can overcome these difficulties, though.

  20. Temporarily remove insert, update permissions from database when a pre-defined size-limit (quota) is exceeded

    When mysql database size reaches it's quota e.g. 1GB insert,update permissions are removed for that databases users. permissions are restored when database is within quota.

    in short it should stop the ability of the database growing in size but not stop basic functions like reading existing data...

    this would be fine to run on the quota check cron or somethng.
