  1. Support from ALPN (Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation)

Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN) Support where good.

To ensure the best possible compatibility of support would be very good here.
Of course, this is not a priority but would be good.
So could the future https, http, be http / 2 Easy granted.

  3. Show currently/recently mail sending scripts

Use case: One of our customer has uploaded files to his ftp server in a public internet cafe and his password was stolen. Afterwards there was a mass spam mail sending script on his webserver. Our server has been landed in black lists. It was very difficult to find and correct it.

  4. Support enabling / disabling mod_wsgi

As we all know, mod_python is not supported by Plesk 12.5 / CentOS 7 anymore (even if compiled manually).

Odin suggests to install mod_wsgi instead. This however cannot be activated for domains separately or configured by service plans.

Thus I would like to see this feature again - and probably its a real quick change in Plesk source code that would allow a nice way to take control over python permissions

  5. Plesk DNS Clustering

Please give to Plesk the ability to do DNS Clustering (at least) with another servers like cPanel; is not really difficult to configure manually a BIND DNS clustering

  6. Mail Delivery Reports

    Hi

I have tried to see if this idea has been mentioned but have not found one yet.

For a long time with my hosting provider i have been using WHM and since we have had to move to a new host and start to use plesk we are finding it great but missing a certain feature which we think could help other people and their clients as we get asked if we can check this from time to time.

Once feature we thought was great in WHM was the Mail Delivery Reports If somthing like this can be implemented…

  7. Implement a support module for Duo Security 2FA

Plesk has support for Google Authenticator and Clef, could an Extension/Module be written to support the authentication through Duo Security?

  9. Autosave a shadow copy (local storage perhaps) of an ongoing edited file to prevent data loss in case of session timeout

My suggestion lies on the fact that I indeed lost my work on a php file that was open in the code editor, when I absent-mindedly pushed the "Apply" button on the text editor and realized with horror that my admin session timed out and I was returned to the unmodified version of the file once logged back in.

It would be convenient to autosave in the background ongoing changes of a text file that is bound to change once opened in the editor, in order to prevent data loss.

  10. MySQL-Config default to innodb_file_per_table with datadir

Take some influence to MySQL-Konfiguration and always default to "innodbfileper_table= true" and "datadir=/var/lib/mysql/data".

Makes optimization of tables and space-reclaim with larger databases possible. Might be a problem of bootstapping but is worth the effort.

  11. Backup single account

It would be great to have a single interface to manage backups of individual accounts (single-domain or single user).
I would like to manage a single server backup ftp and let me choose which accounts to backup.

Obviously the backup file must be "single" for each account and not a single file for the entire server. If you want to make the restore of a single account, I have to use a single backup file.

Currently I have a script that through bash (or cygwin for windows) backs up the single account by bees and upload via ftp on external…

  13. Clarify that underscores are automatically added by Plesk when creating SRV records

Just Place some text on the SRV "add record" page to clarify that users don't have to add underscores to the service- and protocol names.

If they do, there will be two underscores and Office 365 won't validate.

  14. Change the delete a website button text

Just lost plenty of billing business emails because of a misleading text in Plesk for Windows. "Delete the Website" should be renamed "Delete Website and Email Accounts", or "Delete Domain Data". It is far from obvious than using this button will also erase email accounts. Talking about a website, email accounts are generally not counted as "associated data".

  15. Dovecot: mdbox and alternate storage support

    http://forum.odin.com/threads/dovecot-mdbox-and-altmove-support-in-plesk.334620/

It would be really handy if we could, via Plesk panel or some cli utility, o switch from Maildir to mdbox as mailbox storage format and enable alternate storage for old emails. This way we can optimize the disk usage by using the fast storage media for recent emails, while the old stuff can go on a slower, cheaper media. Will also help a lot in growing our mail customer base without forking out ridiculous amounts of money for expensive fast disks arrays to keep up with the growth rate.

  16. Temporary FTP accounts (with expire date)

It would be great to have ftp account with an expire date.
A sort of temporary ftp accounts.

This becomes really usefull when you need to share your ftp details temporary with a webdeveloper, or somebody else to maintain of check an website.

I always make a new FTP account for this sort of events, but then forget to delete them. It would be real nice if you could set a expire date that the account automaticly blocks itself after that date is past.

  18. Supporting SSL resellers

We need to protect with SSL certificates panels resellers. It is currently not possible.
This should be an urgent implementation.
Resellers constantly have the error that the website is not secure.

Right now we can only put a SSL to protect the panel. We need to protect the panel for more domains.

    Example:

    https://domain1.es:8443
    https://domain2.es:8443
    https://domain3.es:8443

    etc...

Forgive my translation, I use google translator.

  19. Custom Email Server Help Tips

The settings for mail servers have a help tip in the email addresses management page, and in the users' Plesk Account pages.

If a Plesk server is set up strictly as a mail server, and has DNS handled remotely, the settings in the Help Tips can be incorrect.

Currently the tips only show the server as the root domain even if the mail server's actual DNS points (as an example) mail.domain.tld to the server, requiring the settings to include the subdomain.

If I add the domain as "subdomain.domain.tld" in settings, then the server tips are correct but the email addresses…
