   Thank you for your interesting idea! While this is a request for a rarely used DNS record, it still makes sense to enable this record type at least for users who want to link their website to a specific geolocation. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

2. Spam settings for the blocklist in Plesk Email Security

   Currently, if a sender is added in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Plesk Email Security > Server Settings > Blocklist, their messages are filtered with the same action as spam emails from users that are not in the blocklist.

   Please implement a feature, which allows messages from recipients in the blocklist to be completely rejected, even if the Spam action in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Plesk Email Security > Server Settings is set differently.

4. Advisor "Switch to Up-To-Date PHP Versions" add option to choose PHP version

   Add an option for users to choose which version of PHP they want to bulk update selected websites.

7. Add linting (Prettier/Beautifier) to coding fields for Apache/Nginx header and PHP.ini editor, etc.

   Could you add to the php.ini edit interface a linter like Prettier or Beautifier (I do not mind which, just one of them) to any code boxes within Plesk. The ones I use most regularly are PHP.ini and those below, but I am sure there might be others around the interface, and maybe there is some equivalent for the firewall rules interface too.

   This would just cut the risk of making mistakes there and make the whole thing a whole lot better to use if you want to do stuff 'in the tool' that are relatively minor. Yes, I know I can cut and paste in and out from it and use VSCodium, etc. But as a UI improvement.

   Also, would be great if you could add line numbering to these boxes, even if switch on/off, and also to allow you to pull them out or resize them if not so you can see the whole thing. In particular the Apache Directives thing is seriously annoying as to size.

   Would be good if you could do that too with that extension that allows you to add Nginx, Apache, Google PageSpeed, etc. linting too to their fields, but not sure if that is within the scope of Plesk's influence.

8. Automatic/option for hiding of Plesk, PHP, Apache, Nginx, Wordpress, Drupal, etc. 'reveals'

   It would be so useful to accommodate one hardening feature, and that would be to switch on/off the server reveal options for Nginx/Apache (Lightspeed, whatever), the expose_php attribute for the version number in PHP (and equivalent in Perl, etc.), the Wordpress/Drupal (and Joomla, etc.), reveal of their presence and version numbers. See this article for the cybersecurity relevance of that (there's a lot more on the 'securityheaders.com' website and free checkers for all of this there too), but I pick this as an illustration of what I'm referring to with php:

   All of these things are simple, and just require something that is added during the set up process and in the Plesk admin (or other) menu.

   It might be harder to automate this for something like extensions, but not particularly themes in Wordpress (and perhaps the others), but I think that it would be helpful if it was a policy requirement that stuff developed for Plesk (well, other things too) were expected to offer during their installation the opportunity to mask these things too for their plugins/software.

   This is such a simple 'hardening' operation and next to no risk at all to do, that it seems crazy that there is not a switch on/off function as part of the list of vulnerabilities on the scan that takes place as part of the Plesk security checker. Except for Nginx (requires [basic] recompile) and maybe Plesk itself (not sure about that one). The benefits are well recognised and will save time for more experienced users, but could/would be much more difficult/worrying/dangerous for a newbie trying.

   Here I'd like to add, though, that in the real world attackers simply test a website against all known vulnerabilities, regardless what webserver, PHP or other software version they detect. Actually, such version information are of no interest, they simply drive tests against all known flaws. So adding the feature will probably not help against hacking attempts.

9. Modify Wordpress integrity checker for security optimisations

   So if I create a new Wordpress installation and then I make certain minor security adjustments that are highly recommended in cybersecurity forums, then I will get errors that it is broken through Plesk. I will then forever more be warned that it is broken in Plesk (not in Wordpress) on account of absence of those files, which (as I say) is a deliberate choice I made).

   Ideally this would be modified in the install process (e.g. question: "Would you like to remove the readme and license files after installation?" (then explain why it is important to in a hover box), but that might be harder, and the original option might just be quicker/easier/leave the risk to the user to address. Here's an article on this matter (just the first one that I found, easy to understand, demonstrates the whole issue), just to give you clarity on what I mean:

   Alternatively, would it be possible to offer the chance to 'hide' or 'accept' certain deliberate modifications that are made, like this, as it is pretty annoying to have the constant notification that it is 'broken' when, to my mind, removing inherent vulnerabilities makes it 'not fixed'.

   There are other things like this, but not sure that they are so regularly used (for instance, I got through themes and remove their display information if someone wants to read the theme names, version numbers, designers, etc.) and much more critical things that I'll put under a different category.

11. Allow setting MAILFROM field in crons from Plesk Interface

    When a customer adds a cronjob within the Plesk interface through "Scheduled tasks", they can set the recipient (MAILTO field) of the cron with the "Send notifications to" field, but there is no option to set the sender (MAILFROM field). By default, the sender for crondaemon is user@server.tld, which in our case causes SPF errors with the receiving mail server of the recipient.

    We do not give our clients CLI access, so they cannot manually set it with the crontab -e command, nor should they (the whole point of the Plesk Interface is for GUI-style ease of use). Could this be added as an additional field that can be filled in, so this argument can be given with the cronjob? It would ensure users can select a valid mailaddress for their crons, so they receive them properly.

16. S3 Storage with enabled Object Lock

    AWS S3 Storage offers the Object Lock feature, which ensures that a file cannot be deleted within a certain time frame. This is ideal for protecting your Plesk backups from accidental manipulation or attackers.

    However, to use this feature, the PUT request must include the checksum of the uploaded backup file. If this header is omitted, the following error message appears:

    Transport error: Extension transport: ext://s3-backup/server/: Content-MD5 OR x-amz-checksum- HTTP header is required for Put Part requests with Object Lock parameters

    Adding one of the headers described at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/checking-object-integrity.html would solve this problem.

    In https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/32881723 the database connections from a Plesk server to an elsewhere hosted database was added, but we also want encrypted connections from a client or other server to databases hosted on the Plesk server.

    Example: An ERP system hosts its data on a centralized MySQL database on the Plesk server. Between the clients and the server all such data is currently transmitted in plain text through the Internet. Instead this data should be encrypted, because normally such data contains personal information such as names, addresses.

    Only when Plesk creates a website will it create this entry at the website level in IIS in the handler mappings, pointing to this file "php-cgi.exe"

    There is no PHP handler in the IIS root that allows me to configure the allowed verbs and that can be propagated to websites.

    When Plesk creates a website, it has a set of settings that it applies to the website, which includes the creation of the handler to interpret .php files, the path of the executable that it installed itself and the allowed verbs.

    I know that after creating a website and only at the website level I can change the verbs in IIS.

    There should be a Plesk configuration file or option where you can define which PHP framework verbs (GET, UPDATE, POST, OPTIONS, etc) are allowed when a website is created.

20. Change on webmail subdomain log in screen to Plesk's log in screen so the user can manage their account directly

    I was considering that to increase the security of the email accounts and so that the user has direct administration over them, if it were possible that instead of the subdomain "webmail.whatevedomain.com" being directed to a webmail login screen directly, to change it to the plesk's log in screen, since when you enable the option in email accounts of "can be used to log in to plesk", the user enters to a management screen for the email account itself, this is by using the email address as the user and their same password.
    This way, the user could change their password directly and do other functions that can be allowed by granting permissions from the "account" option in the Plesk administrator user, in addition to directly accessing the webmail that also would need a change so the user does not go through again on entering username and password.

    Thank you for your idea. Unfortunately, the webmail apps are completely independent mail client apps. They are not programmed by the Plesk team, but by independent vendors. The functions that Plesk can control are mail server based functions and user management based functions, e.g. changing the user name (mailbox name) and password. Webmail apps that do the same to it through specific port based method. They behave like all other mail clients. Bringing both worlds into one will mean that Plesk develops and maintains their own webmail software in competition to existing solutions like SoGo, Roundcube, Horde. This would require significant resources not only for development, but also for continuous maintenance - and all that besides maintaining the integration of the other clients. There are no plans to do that at this time or in the near future.

    Nevertheless we can leave this feature idea online for some while so that other users can vote for it if they believe it is an important feature. If a very large number of users votes for it, it can still be considered as a future feature in Plesk.

    Thank you for your idea. Unfortunately, the webmail apps are completely independent mail client apps. They are not programmed by the Plesk team, but by independent vendors. The functions that Plesk can control are mail server based functions and user management based functions, e.g. changing the user name (mailbox name) and password. Webmail apps that do the same to it through specific port based method. They behave like all other mail clients. Bringing both worlds into one will mean that Plesk develops and maintains their own webmail software in competition to existing solutions like SoGo, Roundcube, Horde. This would require significant resources not only for development, but also for continuous maintenance - and all that besides maintaining the integration of the other clients. There are no plans to do that at this time or in the near future.
