  1. Option To Auto Add Cloudflare IPs To Fail2Ban Whitelist

Add the option to auto add Cloudflare IPs to Fail2Ban whitelist. A simple check box in the Fail2Ban management panel that will add a Cron job similar to the one described here: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/cloudflare-whitelist-scripts-for-fail2ban-and-nginx.361572/ .
This is something that will help a lot of people using Cloudflare and it's relatively easy to implement.
    Thanks.

  2. Improve Plesk Country Firewall Usability

    Plesk Country Firewall
    1) Add a check for duplicate country abbreviations on save.
    2) (x) add checkbox to sort alphabetically
    3) Add a drop down to select the country. Currently you have to look up the country 2 digit code. So add a drop down to select country then add the 2 digit abbreviation.

Most ISO codes of rogue nations are well known. We think that changes to geo IP blocking are rarely needed. To keep development costs reasonably low, perfect comfort for rarely used features is not a priority. In a server's lifetime it may occur twice that this is changed, so we wonder how often this feature is used in your daily routine that the added comfort is required? Please comment how you determine the countries to be blocked and why you change countries often so that we understand your routine better and can provide a better product while trying to keep license prices low.

  3. "Send welcome mail" by button so that admin can send login credentials to a new user by email template

As discussed in https://talk.plesk.com/threads/send-email-with-credentials-to-my-customer.369632/#post-927240 Plesk should have a button for server admins by which an admin can send a welcome mail to a user with the user's login credentials. That should be template-based with an editable template to cater for the requirements of different server providers.

It should also not be sent directly, but similar to the existing "mass mailing" function first show the proposed text in an editor window so that the admin can make additions or edit the text. Then send from there.

  4. Block IP address ranges of cloud services (AWS, Google, DigitalOcean)

Be able to block IP address ranges of cloud services (e.g. AWS, Google, DigitalOcean) via Plesk Firewall to avoid junk traffic and hacking attempts.
At the moment, it is only possible to block IP addresses by countries

  5. Allow the creation of forbidden domain names via API

Please implement an option in Plesk, which allows the administrator to create domain names, which are forbidden for creation via Plesk UI.

For example, *.example.com has been added in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Prohibited Domain Names. This limitation should apply to all users in Plesk UI, but the administrator should still be able to create *.example.com subdomains via API calls.

This will be useful when looking to automatically provide users with a free subdomain for hosting, but prevent them from creating unlimited number of *.example.com subdomain via Plesk UI.

  6. Add option to exclude a customizable list of senders from receiving an auto-reply

Don't send an autoresponder to an incoming message from your mailing list.

    Example:

The message is sent to a mailing list, e.g. mailinglist@email.com

The user who is added to this list receives a message. However, this user is currently on vacation and has an autoresponder running.

Therefore, the sender who sent a message to mailinglist@email.com receives a message from the autoresponder from the user.

If a company has 100 users added to one list, this creates a problem.

  7. Support ARM-based Linux operating systems for the .NET Toolkit extension

Support for ARM-based Linux operating systems is not yet available for the .NET Toolkit extension, it would be helpful to have it.

  8. Trigger to update PECL extensions automatically by Plesk

In recent Plesk versions it is now possible to manage PECL extensions for PHP directly in Plesk. However we need a method to keep such PECL extensions up-to-date, either with some sort of trigger or event handler.

  9. Subscription not listed as available while trying to move a domain. If target subscription lacks any resource this should be detailed on UI

The move domain modal window should provide more information on why some subscriptions are not listed among the available ones because of different available resources than the needed by the "source" domains. This information can be found if the move is attempted over CLI but not from the UI, e.g.: "Unable to move the domain because the mail service is disabled on the target subscription."

  10. change ALL "http"- to "https"-connections for Plesk-updates and -upgrades

Change ALL "http"- to "https"-connections for Plesk-updates and -upgrades:

    http://autoinstall.plesk.com
    http://archive.ubuntu.com
    etc…

This is an unforgiveable severe security bug!

  11. Set LVE to "unlimited" for users created temporarily on Migration to speed up Migration on CloudLinux

The CloudLinux employs several techniques to limit performance, among others "LVE" limits. These are limits on resource usage such as CPU speed, RAM, I/O speed, number of processes, etc.. It is an established fact that the Plesk Migrator is capable of modifying CloudLinux components to allow the Migrator to do it's job, like disabling CageFS for the source user and target server. So, it stands to reason that the Plesk Migrator could also modify these LVE limits to improve performance of the data-transfers to the target server. The I/O limit of 1 MB/s is an LVE default limit for users…

  15. "keep secure" should be ON by default for any new Service Plan.

We and many other companies sell "Reseller accounts", each reseller has its own service plans. We can't control how they create their service plans and if they enable "keep secured" in their plan.

So in that case, there should be a global keep-secured solution that has nothing to do with resellers' plans.

An admin should have the option to enable "keep secured" globally so that any newly created domain will be secured once it's pointed to the server DNS. Something similar is working flawlessly in CPANEL. CPANEL users basically do not need to actively install an SSL by Let's Encrypt.…

  16. Keep the collation MySQL settings during the migration

Migration of the databases from the old MySQL servers should keep the original collation of the tables. If the databases on the source server have the different collation setting these databases should have the same collation settings on the target server after the migration.

  17. Add the ability to register mail accounts on a subscription with disabled mail service

During migration from an external mail server to Plesk mail, it would be useful to create mail accounts before enabling the service to prevent local delivery until the switch is done.

  18. Auto-update database structure on update failure

Joomla Toolkit will report a failed core update on certain occasions (like running out of memory). It will then ask to check the site manually.

This "manual" check translate into checking for issues with the toolkit, and pushing a button to update the database structure. It's all done from within JTK.

The purpose of the toolkit is to automate such tasks and report the issue accurately, so upon failure it should re-check the site and resolve the issues automatically, and only report the need to check manually if that fails.

  19. Improve the logic on how the WordPress Toolkit creates instance backup

WordPress Toolkit during backup process creates full plain copies of the database and files in the webspace before the compression. If Hard quota is enabled it is needed to have twice more allowed space otherwise it fails

  20. When Nginx and Apache are used, Apache should only listen to ports 7080 and 7081 on localhost.

As discussed in https://talk.plesk.com/threads/security-attack-surface-ports-7080-and-7081.368543 security should be reinforced: When Nginx and Apache are used, Apache should only listen to ports 7080 and 7081 on localhost. When Nginx is not used, Apache should only listen to ports 80 and 443.
