  2. Possibility to send "Outgoing mail has exceeded limits" notifications to customer accounts

Currently, "Outgoing mail has exceeded limits" notifications could be sent only to administrator email address.
Could you please add a possibility to send notifications not only to administrator but also to customer mail account.
When the customer also receives the notification, the customer who is actually using the service could investigate the cause of the restriction.

  3. Be honest about whether DNS records in Plesk are actually applied

The DNS records in Plesk pretend as though they're actually being applied to the domain, but this is FALSE. The nameservers of my domain are not set to my domain's name. You need to compare the actual nameserver records and to the ones in the Plesk settings before acting like you're the name server for my domain.

    Case in Point: https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/123260/the-plesks-name-server-acts-as-the-primary-name-server-for-the-dns-zone-what

Plesk is nice, but this is not nice!

  4. Ability to assign dedicated IP to reseller without lock from syncing with service plan

When you add IP address at Tools & Settings > IP addresses the Reseller becomes locked from sync with service plan. This is expected because such resource is not set in service plan.

If you set 1 to "Allocate dedicated IPv$ addresses" option all resellers under this service plan will have dedicated IP assigned.

It is required functionality to assign dedicated IP to reseller without lock from syncing with service plan and in the way that only this reseller has dedicated IP assigned. It can looks like Reseller service plan add-on.

  5. Allow domain's mail forwarding to another domain for all existing mailboxes at once

Currently, Plesk has an option to enable mail forwarding for particular mailboxes of the domain; and it is also possible to forward all incoming domain's mail to a single mailbox.

Please allow activation of mail forwarding to another domain for all existing mailboxes at once.

To allow one click mail forwarding as follows:
mail for user1@domain.com redirected to user1@domain.net,
mail for user2@domain.com redirected to user2@domain.net, etc.

  6. Enforce Multi-factor Authentication option for Mattermost extension

It would be nice to add Enforce Multi-factor Authentication option for Mattermost extension as at the moment it is possible to only enable the Multi-factor Authentication as an option for users but not force them to use it.

  7. Block user access after failed attempts

It would be great to implement in Plesk a new feature.

When there are X failed attempts, in Plesk there should be the possibility to block automatically the access to the customer account (completely or for a certain period of time).

As per now, Plesk block the IP address via Fail2ban, but this is not the feature that we need. We just want to block the access completely or temporarily for the affected login.

It would be nice if Plesk support such functionality. That help to avoid migrations to new server with higher version of OS. 9. Add an ability to encode parameters sent in custom button URL

Currently, parameters passed to the custom button URL are put there in plain text (even FTP user password).
As the custom button URL is using GET request, the parameters can be easily replaced by anyone which is not secure and doesn't allow using custom buttons for logging customers into a third-party service (e.g. billing).
Please consider implementing an option to securely encode URL parameters so only the receiving side can decode them.

  10. Allow setting of ip adresses for docker containers when multiple nics are available

When a server has multiple external ip adresses (either dedicated network interfaces or alias interfaces) it should be possible via the UI to specify (in addition to the port mapping) the ip address that are recognized by the system.

This could be a dropdown with i.e.
"any" (any of the ip addresses)
    81.169.175.40
    81.169.175.41
    ...

  11. Use Lets Encrypt to secure preview urls

    Hi,

I think the preview urls is a really useful feature, but they have a limitation in which they cannot be secured.

Being able to secure these urls with a wildcard certificate from Lets Encrypt would be hugely beneficial when developing.

An example would be when developing with certain APIs such as HTML5 Geolocation API.

    Thanks

  12. Extend async progress bar by executed scheduled task arguments

The list of scheduled tasks already contains the arguments of php scripts, while they are missing information in the asynchronous progress bar.
Tasks started at the same time, which differ in the arguments of the same script, are indifferent from each other.

  13. Make it possible to create a subscription with mail service in deactivated state

In Plesk Onyx, when subscription is created from a service plan, mail service is created in deactivated state.
But when such subscription is created in Plesk Obsidian, it is created without mail service, which makes creating mail addresses impossible without enabling mail service.
Creating mail addresses in this way is crucial for the client, so please add this functionality to Plesk.

  14. Add additional Plesk notifications for customers when creating an FTP user

I would like to automate domain customer's FTP access to a domain.

So I want a user to be automatically notified about their newly created FTP access when creating it in Plesk UI.
Writing an email with credentials for every customer is ineffective and time-consuming

  15. Ability to enable the detailed error messages in IIS

Currently, this can be enabled in IIS > example.com > Error pages > Edit feature settings

or Domains > example.com > File Manager and adjusting the web.config file manually

The native functionality to enable/disable detailed errors in Domains > example.com > IIS Settings will be easier for customer. Without involving server administrator or adjusting web.config manually.

  16. [Plesk firewall] Add a possibility to see in Plesk GUI the logs of connections dropped by different Plesk firewall rules

It would be nice to be able to assess the effectiveness of Plesk firewalls rules, especially the ones manually placed by Plesk users.

This information would be important to see in Plesk GUI if this is implemented:

    1. date and time stampts
    2. the name of rule
    3. the exact IP address from where the connection was dropped
    4. the destination port and protocol

  17. Allow to manage SMTPUTF8 over Plesk Mailserver Settings

Would be good to be able to manage SMTPUFT8 option over Plesk so that it is not reverted after Plesk Updates and also to remove the need to manage this option over the Postfix config directly.

  18. Extend the possibility to manage Client permissions via CLI

Currently, in Plesk it is possible to manage general permissions for customers via Plesk Panel or CLI. Sometimes it is necessary to manage Client permissions in more precise way in command line.
Please add the feature to hide/show separate menus via CLI, e.g. enable/disable such menus separately:
    -Web Hosting Access
    -SSL/TLS certificates
    -Limit Outgoing Messages
Also, it would be useful to restrict access to edit separate paragraphs such as:
    -Hosting Settings> Certificate
-Hosting Settings>Web statistics (Protect access to your web statistics with your FTP username and password)

  19. View panel.log in Plesk GUI

Please make the panel.log file available to view in Plesk GUI.

It would help in troubleshooting issues that show no warning or error messages in GUI, and provide a way to investigate issues if SSH access in unavailable for some reason.

  20. Improve cron task for Watchdog component

Customer receives the following email about execution of the Watchdog cron task:
    From: (Cron Daemon) root@example.com
    Sent: Monday, June 18, 2018 1:00 AM
    To: jdoe@example.com
    Subject: Cron root@example.com /usr/local/psa/libexec/modules/watchdog/cp/secur-check
    DEBUG [utilexec] [5b5560d293f82] Starting:
    rsecurcheck security
    2018-07-23 schedule
DEBUG [util_exec] [5b5560d293f82] Finished in 0.04981s, Error code: TRUE

From a customer point of view, it is not clear was the task executed or not.

For example replace the message "Error code: TRUE" to "Watchdog task was successfully executed"
