  1. In this Free SSL era, customers should be able to install SSL certificates with API, for automation (like cPanel)

    Two issues I am facing with Plesk API for SSL certificate:

    1. The end user (customer) should have permission to manage SSL/TLS Certificates with API: The customer can install an SSL certificate with the GUI but not with API. My shared hosting provider has hidden the Let's Encrypt SSL option. I can install a LE SSL with the GUI. But manually renewing the SSL certificate every two months is a time-consuming task and if I forget to renew, the SSL will expire.   2. Add functionality to manage Imunify360 extension on a per subscription/customer basis

  3. Add an option to deploy the tagging server for Google Tag Manager

    Please add an option to deploy the tagging server for Google Tag Manager - this will allow to direct requests to the Plesk server instead of analytics.google.com.

  4. add option to preload hsts

    can you add the option to the hsts switch to add preload option?

    i have to disable the hsts switch and manual add this option to the Nginx directive as so

    add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=63072000; includeSubDomains; preload";

  5. Add IIS App Pool start/stop and recycle permissions separately from enable permission

    At the moment there is only one permission for IIS App Pool Management.

    It would be interesting if a subscription had the permission to start/stop or recycle their dedicated App Pools, but not to create new ones.

    In this scenario, there would be an option to provide the subscription with a single App Pool, and let them manage it, but not to create new App Pools.

  6. disable changing username

    please disable change system user (username), place it on native
    change username can give bugs for your whmcs

    you cant suspend or terminate because username is invalid!!!!

  8. MySQL change the charset

    Allow to chose another charset when creating a database or do not set one.

    Plesk does use:
    "CREATE DATABASE databasename /*!40101 default charset=utf8 */"
    And with this does overwrite when the MySQL config was changed to use utf8mb4 for example.

    Or allow to choose a charset on creation or create DBs with:
    "CREATE DATABASE databasename"

  9. Separate mozilla tls cipher settings for web and mail

    Please separate the mozilla tls cipher settings for web and mail.
    Sometimes the old ciphers has to set only for mail and not for web.
    Additionally it would be great if the setting could available on domain basis.

  10. Purge before restore (delete existing content before restoring from backup)

    If I want to restore all files of a domain because the website has been hacked.... default restoration will simply overwrite existing file.

    In the cased of a hacked website, hackers can add suspicious files on the domains and those files won't be remove upon restoration.

    It will be great to have an option allowing us to opt for a purge before restoration so that we can completely replace the files, databases, etc. and not simply overwrite existing files.

  11. Implement Mail Importing feature for subdomains

    Although there is Website Importing function in Plesk for subdomains, there is no Mail Importing function.
    Please add Mail Importing feature for subdomains in Site Import extension.

  12. Allow roles that are limited to managing specific domains within a subscription

    Allow creation of sub users with access to only one domain or subdomain inside the subscription

    If a customer owns a subscription with 2 or 3 domains it would be useful that a user for a webdev could be added so that he can manage the domain/subdomain not only from FTP but Dbs etc.

  13. Webhosting Migration Windows with central Smartermail Server

    Make Migrations possible for Windows Plesk Hosting Servers with central Smartermail Server. right now it's not possible to move/migrate hosting from source to destination windows plesk server if same central remote smartermail mailserver is used. would be great if we could just move webhosting part from older windows to newer windows hosting server and let all mail accounts and mails untached on central remote smartermail server.

  14. Programmatically set Forwarding Proxy to Docker container

    If it becomes possible to set those proxies in a bash script the rules can be activated/deactivated when, for instance, we're running an update via any automated CI service.

  16. Backup Extension for Google Cloud / Amazon Glacier

    Plesk does currently only support Amazon S3. Amazon Glacier is cheaper than S3 and also good for backups. Also support for Google Cloud would be great since at the moment, Plesk does only support Google Drive which is no professional backup (example: https://github.com/plesk/ext-cloud-backup-example).

  17. Add ability to select 64-bit drivers in ODBC Data Sources

    In the menu "ODBC Data Sources", it is possible to select only 32-bit ODBC drivers upon setting up a connection, even if 64-bit version of a driver is installed in the system (MS Access .mdb driver for example).
    Customers should be able to select 64-bit drivers as well.

  18. Add the possibility to back up/include selected files and folders in the Backups

    Currently, it's possible to exclude some files/folders from backup creation: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000773605

    But this feature should be improved because in some cases excluding is not a valid solution.

    Let's say that there are multiple files and folders, as you can imagine, the list of exclusion would be too long and it would require a lot of time to create it. Moreover, the list will need to be updated each time there are new folders on the webspace.
