Git webspace
At the moment it's only possible to configure FTP-Access to webspaces in Plesk. I would like to have webspaces I can fill via git (pull, clone etc.) and configure it via Plesk.
We’re happy to announce that this feature is now available in Plesk Onyx, which was released recently for early adopters. You can try Plesk Onyx here: https://www.plesk.com/onyx/
If you have any feedback on the implementation of this feature, please let us know on the forum: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/plesk-onyx.744/
Thank you!

I think this feature should also be voted as it relates to Git access with multiple accounts: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/31790716-allow-multiple-ssh-accounts-in-an-abonnement

Actually the Git Man extension works seamlessly with Plesk 12.5.30 and I use it productively since a while for many websites. With the next major version Plesk Onyx the Git Man extension will be replaced by providing native git support directly in the Plesk core. You have the possibility to either create git repos directly on your server - and/or use the push-to-deploy feature to automatically deploy source code changes when pushing to a defined branch.

I see that there is a Git Manager extension but it's for Plesk 17 and up so it doesn't install on any Plesk. Could it be this feature that's under development? Hope so... In the meanwhile I'll develop my own git extension to clone/pull from my remote repositories.

Sorry, didn't see that thread even when searched on Google. I'll give it a try today and give some feedback.

A complete git client to manage the downloaded repositories (so we can upload changes to origin, checkout new changes, change branch, etc) from a graphical interface instead of using the command line utility.

Gitman somehow works. However, it would be nice if I can use our without the need to grant ssh access to a client

Would be NICE to Combine URLs / Domains / Subdomains with GIT-Repositories to easy checkout and update custom APPs.

Good idea. Many coders have asked us for GIt.

Then please add an option if it should be able to access over HTTP(S) !!
We do NOT love to see public git repositories of private things.. -

this would be really really useful!

Great idea!
We are getting more and more requests for git enabled shared webhosting.
And we are seeing the competition providing just such a thing. It would be nice to have this included in Plesk 11.5 or at least in 12.
I know we can integrate it ourselves into a chroot, but git should be more of a base feature than an experimental chroot hackjob.
