Dear Oleks!
Can you please describe the way how you implemented ClamAV? I have found several old descriptions, but i'm stucked.
Thanks.

Why is this still an open discussion?
There are many reasons to add ClamAV, let's just say that at least not anyone has the money (or will) to spend upwards of $300 per year per plesk install just for mediocre to somewhat okay protection, especially if most (if not all) is covered with ClamAV.Why do I have to manually set up ClamAV every time (yes, it definietly is possible, though tiring)?

@Plesk Staff:
Please support ClamAV out of the box - IF the other anti-virus extensions are high-quality extensions then they may have some competitive features over ClamAV and will be choosen by pro-users who need those features.
... and if not - then future will tell us and them ... -

Seems Plesk team offer us to use costly Anti Virus so they can make more money, I think they will remove this comment, almost all other control panel offers the free ClamAV antivirus, so why not Plesk.

This important feature request was posted in 2013, one admin asked for more input in 2016, now in 2019 there are 710 votes and a lot of comments gave enough input.
If you need even more input: We have a Nextcloud instance running with plesk and want to activate antivirus file scanning for uploaded files. The required app needs ClamAV installed. -

Please add it for at least Mail checks.
The benefit of Clamav is that it's free. All others costs money (too much).
Next to that, they don't even offer what Clamav offers on notices for example.
It's very odd because it's widely used and Cpanel and even Directadmin offer this (just like csf/lfd) and Plesk does not. -

All current anti virus options are paid options while they don't offer anything ClamAV does for free.
So there is no point in paying for these options while there's a free option that could be integrated in plesk very easily. -

Plese, consider integrating ClamAV ... using kaspersky or premuim AV increses licenses price too much...

All current paid AV solutions for Plesk are not worth it to pay for. They are below customers acceptances. They don´t offer reports, don´t inform recipients if a virus was detected etc. ClamAV does or is able to. So add it please! The community will gonna love you.

Which is kinda sad since there is so much you can do with ClamAV and being open source who know maybe one person will find a way to integrate it since they dont want to help their customers.

I am guessing they will keep ignoring this since they replied once in 2016.

Any news on this? It's been almost two years since the last update and the feature is still on top ten after 6 years.
If I have to pay 450 euros per year to secure a mail server, I would rather give it for something like iredmail pro that comes with many many more features. -

Additionally you can load custom signatures in clamav and locate some very interesting malware other premium solutions ignore

Why is ClamAV still not available for Plesk?
At the moment I am using Dr.Web antivirus, which is below any acceptable level. If licence is not renewed on time (human-error by Hosting Provider) you can not see Dr.Web doesn't check any emails, there are no error messages beside manually looking in /var/log/mail.log etc.
I am not happy with paid AV solutions provided by Plesk, I want to use ClamAV, so please just do simple job and integrate it.
there is also Comodo Antivirus for Linux (Free Linux and Mail Gateway Antivirus)
https://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/antivirus-for-linux.php
so options are there, Plesk solutions are missing
