Make subdomain email addresses possible without new subscription
It's incredibly annoying that you have to setup a subscription solely for each subdomain that you want to create email addresses for. Please fix this.
This functionality is now available in the latest Plesk Onyx 17.9 Preview 7 (https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#contents-179-preview7). We encourage you to check the implementation and let us know what you think. Please visit the following forum thread to learn how to access the preview: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/plesk-onyx-17-9-preview.348675/page-2#post-855221
We would appreciate hearing your feedback on the implementation of this functionality. Thanks in advance!

P.S. Do not use the Preview build in production environments. The Preview build is for evaluation and early testing purposes only.

thats a great feature, why its not been already served?

Example: trail@sub.domain.com
The old survey is from 2014 and not observed. It does not get any attention anymore, but according to the comments a not too despised number of people want this feature.

I would like this feature to be available because I would need it for a 30 groin domain: D

With the growing us of the WordPress Multi-sites feature using subdomains, the need for this is more acute. It would be helpful if Plesk would indicate if it is on the list of features to develop or not. if so, a time table would be nice, such as first quarter 2019, for example. Right now the workaround is to use a third party service like SparkPost.

As you can ready, there are enough users explaining this request. So at least you should revise your current comment on this thread since it hopefully has become clear what the users would like to have.

How that a fraud attempt? Dude posted multiple messages on the same IP?
BTW, the request is pretty explicit. -

Dear Plesk, as you can read, people are furious here...

I am a real person. What do you have to do to get a simple upgrade added?? I have also requested this once before (quite a few years ago now) but nothing was done then. This morning I read that two threads about this concern have been merged and there are now over 500 requests. ... Does it even matter how many requests there are?? This email feature for subdomains should be a standard feature without people having to request it!! A website on a subdomain is still a website... why should it be looked upon any differently?? I have 9 subdomains on one of my sites and at this point in time, none have the accepted correct email address. If I could find a different control plan without lots of migration efforts I would change right now. p.s. if you doubt my validity email me and you will receive a reply asap!

Maybe they got desperate as this request has been in the waiting for 4 years... :)

It's not a joke. We're receiving a lot of voices for this (and five more) request from users with fake e-mail addresses (like skghfk@hotmail.com) and empty profiles. Now more than 90% of voices for these requests are from such accounts.
So we've decided someone really need these features and want to know why he chose such way to tell us about it. But there's no way to ask him directly because he didn't leave the return address. :)
Sorry for any inconvenience.--IB

Hi there. What fraud was detected?
I think the title explains the needs. We are all wanting to have email addresses from subdomains. for example: <name@<subdomain><domain>.com

Hi Markus,
Thanks for your elaboration that you needed mail subdomain without creating web subdomain. it was not stated in the original description or in other comments, so without your comment this point would likely have been overlooked.
As for value of 587 votes - unfortunately, someone has chosen to abuse the system and submitted lots of votes from fake accounts. At least a half of votes here are fake and thus it complicates evaluation of real demand.
It is a very unfortunate event, which largely reduced value of each true vote here and will surely delay implementation of the feature for the time will need to sort it out. We will contact UserVoice staff for resolving the issue and preventing it in future.

for a more specific reference, we have a company that uses a standard domain (domain.com) but then uses subdomains for each of its branches (branch.domain.com) for branch specific sites (location specific differences) and wants to have emails direct on each branch subdomain for separation

Fraud on a feature request? That is a good joke
I made another request (with less vulgar language and clearer idea on the request).
Anyone, please vote there also: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/34488652-adding-subdomain-email-addresses-to-existing-domai -

To add emails for a subdomain, right now, the only trick is to add another subscription, make a subdomain and then create email for that subscription.
The feature request is to also add emails for the subdomains that are all under one subscription.
This would keep the management clutter free and if a client needs subdomain and email for that, there is no need to make a separate account for them.

This can be very useful.
Also remembet that mail@example.com should be different mailbox than mail@subdomain.example.com
subdomain.example.com and example.com - could have different mx records. -

You can't determine a real deman on 587 votes for this feature and all the comments ?!?!? Are u kidding people here Plesk Staff ? IT IS highly demanded as you can read here! And what's so hard to understand that we want to manage e-mail addresses for subdomains WITHOUT creating the web sub-domain for it ?!

This does appear to be a duplicate of another case. If these could be merged and all comments viewed as a whole it will give a clear picture. Eg, some people need email addresses for wordpress sites running on subdomains.

There are various potential use cases for this, eg name@division.company.com or name@region.company.com.This can also be very useful for offering clients free trial accounts, where they don't necessarily have their own active domain as yet.
The possibilities are endless if we have the options here, like are available with other email servers. -

Will this be implemented ?
