SSH terminal w/o Java restrictions
That way we could enter commands via Terminal on Linux VPSs.
We released the “SSH Terminal” extension today.

This extension provides access to the server from Plesk via a secure web-based SSH client. The feature is available to both the Plesk administrator and subscription owners.

This is the last thing missing on my wishlist before migrating from WHM/cPanel to Plesk.

bump
it is becoming quite common to see this feature and clients still ask why the ssh buttton in plesk does not work. A modern implementation would be great. -

That is correct. Without hacking the SIAB code and/or setting up some SSO, it would just be a web-based version of SSH, requiring that port to be open publicly.

Thank you for input.
We want do include the webconsole to access ssh only behind the plesk-login. So port 22 should be blocked from external and ssh only over the console in the plesk-backend.If i read the posted link correct, the shell in a box will be included from external, correct? So port 22 have to be open from external.

I know that it needs work, but you can accomplish similar with a Shell in a Box Docker container and a simple extension:

Please add a web-based SSH-Client inside the Plesk-Backend like shellinabox (https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/shellinabox/) or somthing similar.
