Search mail logs from Gui
We have many support requests from our customers (non technical) to search logs and find if a message was sucessfull delivered and consume much from our support.
If the customer could search logs from a specific sender ou destination, filtering by date, will be great for us.
We released the ‘Mail Log Browser’ extension
https://ext.plesk.com/packages/942273dc-a99b-4744-9e8f-c4a4b047c63d-log-browser
This extension allows you to check the statuses of all emails sent to and from your server by reviewing maillog and filtering by date, source, or any string pattern; also it’s possible to check mail logs in real-time (‘tail -fn0’ analog).
It’s available for Plesk Administrators and supports Postfix and Qmail mail servers.

Good morning. There is a new extension for this : https://ext.plesk.com/packages/0faeac08-2768-42e3-8403-a6321bb861f5-mail-log it is not a free extension, but developed by our team. We have tried to put a cheap price to make it accessible to the vast majority of plesk customers.

Plesk staff answered positively about this (simple) feature on August 2016. It is January 2019, will it be ready before a human lands on Mars?

Not just email logs. We need email statistics from logs. Like Number of emails sent/received per day for each domain. Number of spam emails. Rejected emails.. check cpanel they have it already :)

It would extremely helpful to have GUI to assist in troubleshooting email issues. For example, I often get asked "where has this email gone?", or "can you confirm the important email has definitely been sent?".
It would save a lot of time to have the ability to search through mail logs (even logrotate and compression) to find the raw server chatter between two MTAs and determine the mail was sent to the recipients MTA, or the mail was rejected for xx reason.

Also I suggest to move to domain og like /var/www/vhosts/domain.com/logs/maillog then also a client can check his own log not just the admin.

Really wish this was a feature! Was about to suggest the same thing :)

On Linux, Plesk moves the mail logs from the default location of /var/log/maillog to /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog but there is no way to view the logs in Plesk.
Even if it is just a raw log view (like viewing error logs for sites used to be), please add the feature to view these in Plesk.

Hey, nobody? This is a very good feature, we lost plents of time searching logs for our customers when they report delivery problems, I want let them search directly from GUI, because mostly hasn't skills to connect SSH and grep logs, they simple wants to know if a messagem FROM XXX to YYY sent on MON 07/29/15 was delivery or not and the error etc.

This would also be useful for wrong user and passwords for end user mail access. This would be our biggest support issue. Many Web Professionals so not know how to SSH and view/tail mail logs. If you could see live log, you could see wrong user and password auth and reseller/web professional could fix issue quickly without our support.
