Add DNS TTL per entry
Add a DNS TTL per entry option instead of just SOA TTL.
This will make it more inline with products like cPanel etc and is very useful when using dynamic dns to have low TTL but other entries like mx can have a high TTL
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.31 with this feature is now available! We’d like to thank everyone who commented on this request and provided invaluable feedback. Thanks!
If you have any feedback on the implementation of this feature, please let us know on the forum: https://talk.plesk.com.
We’re closing this request since the support of managing TTL per DNS-record is completed.

We need this :) Coming from a cPanel background, it's kinda hard to live without this feature.

Currently the only way to change TTL is by changing the SOA record. short TTL's on SOA records are bad form. The SOA record should have a long TTL: a day or longer. Other records, however, need shorter TTL's especially if you're making changes and you need to shorten up the TTL's until things settle down. The current solution for this is terrible.

Definitely needed

Definitely needed. Dropping the TTL for the whole domain (viao the SOA template) just to facilitate migrating one host is not Internet-frendly.

There are still posts on this being needed for server migrations, so I feel like I should point out that as I commented a while back, changing the TTL setting on the SOA tab applies to all records in the zone. It's not ideal but at least TTLs can be changed.

The fact that this (very basic) DNS feature is missing in Plesk is appalling. It's definitely a necessity when transitioning services between servers, it helps minimize downtime!

Please add this feature. TTL for specific Records is a MUST.

Honestly, it's hard to believe that this is not implemented yet.
I have to modify DNS records for my customers all day long, and there's no reason why I should shorten the TTL for all records of a zone, while I just need to work on the MX records for example. Please put that higher on your list...

Essential function in DNS management. Useful in migrations, dinamyc records, domain validations, site replications, debugging procedures,..
