   Thank you for your idea. Wildcard subdomains for email is an extremely rarely seen scenario. Could you please describe in detail what this is needed for and why you believe that it is something many users will need?

2. panel.ini setting to select 127.0.0.1 or localhost for WPT WordPress installations

   When using CloudLinux's alt-php versions and when using Plesk's php version management facility instead of CloudLinux PHP Selector, the default path to mysql.sock is not set, or in some cases incorrectly set to /tmp/mysql.sock.

   Any php script, including WordPress, that is set to use "localhost" to connect to the database will then fail to connect. This can cause severe problems with the WordPress Toolkit.

   If, instead of localhost, the host address is set to 127.0.0.1, php uses a network connection instead of trying to connect to mysql.sock, and all is well. Naturally this assumes that mysql/mariadb listens on 127.0.0.1 but that is usually the case for CloudLinux/RHEL-downstream distributions as far as I'm aware.

   The alternative is to tell php where mysql.sock is located by adding mysql.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock, mysqli.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock and pdomysql.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql.sock either on a per-domain basis or in the main php.ini fo9r all domains (per version of php).

   I suggest adding a panel.ini setting for wpt that would allow the administrator to set their preference of localhost or 127.0.0.1 for WordPress installations.

   As an extension to this, I also suggest that in panel.ini under [php] it could be made possible to specify the default path to mysql.sock for the various libraries, just as it is currently possible to specify disable_functions settings.

5. Advisor that finds the cause for high CPU usage automatically

   My server sometimes suffers from or even crashes from high CPU usage. I'd like to have an advisor like the Security Advisor, but for automatically telling me which service or website causes the high cpu usage. It would be best if that advisor could also check webserver logs automatically, if it finds that for example the PHP cpu load is high in a website.

    Need a feature to reset Plesk email security statistics. For example, a button to clear tables (msgs; msgrcpt;)

    There is currently a workaround:
    Truncate tables (msgs; msgrcpt;statsaccounts;statsdaily_volume;) via SSH or GUI (PhpMyAdmin) from the database "emailsecurity".

12. Add support for djbdns / tinydns

    Add support for djbdns / tinydns - export each domain's DNS records into a plain text file that gets then copied to separate (stand-alone) DNS server(s) running djbdns / tinydns. The DNS services do not and should not run on Plesk servers themselves, but rather on separate stand-alone servers. Export each domain's DNS zone into domain.com.txt filename.

    The text file synchronization can be done either automatically by Plesk, or a simple cron job to automate replication to 2+ djbdns servers, where the files are added, or if a domain.com.txt exists, overwrite it and comile/publish djbdns data.

    (we've been using djbdns for 15+ years and find it way easier to manage than bind or other options, it's such a tiny resource DNS system you can run it on a TINY VM, nothing fancy required... would love to see integration with Plesk, especially since Plesk doesn't have a straightforward path for multi-server DNS hosting)

13. Define maximum number of saved backups in Service Plan

    As an administrator you currently can define the maximum number of full backups to store. This maximum number applies to all backups, stored locally or remote.

    This is a feature request for:a) defining a separate maximum for locally stored backups and a separate maximum for remotely stored backups. b) as well defining those maximum numbers in service plans.

    The option to define the maximum number of stored backups in a service plan would allow administrators to fulfill backup needs on a per customer basis. And even sell additional backups to customers who might have a need for much longer backup retention.

    Defining a separate maximum value for local and remote backups is useful as backups can take up a lot of space. Local disk space is usually more costly than remote backup space. Having the ability to set a strict limit for locally saved backups and a more lenient limit for remote backups would help to manage disk space usage.

14. Additional Account Authentication via Email

    This is a request for the implementation of an optional extra layer of authentication via email for customers and resellers who want to login to a Plesk server. Which would improve security by making it much less effective/useful for customers to share their login details with others.

    Although similar in concept to 2FA, this is different than the already available 2FA extension as "email account authentication" poses way less of a barrier to non tech savvy users as no additional apps or devices are needed for authentication. Just email. 

    Ideally it would work something like this: a server administrator could enable "email account authentication" so customers and resellers would be emailed an additional code they are required to enter after they login. The code gets sent via email to the customer after they login with their regular login details (username and password). It would be nice if the server administrator could configure an interval which would allow customers to skip the "email account authentication" for an X number of days (in panel.ini for example). So customers don't always have to enter the code emailed to them every time they login, but only once every X days.

    (I can see this feature being useful for additional administrator accounts as well. But my main focus is on customers and resellers)

    Use case:
    Rather than creating separate login accounts for others who need access to a Plesk account, quite some customers easily share their own Plesk login details. For example with their (local) IT expert, their web developer or even friends and family. Which of course is not really a good security practice. To mitigate this issue email account authentication would be really useful.

    I realize this is probably a niche request, but I do think this might be of interest to quite some system administrators as it gives a some peach of mind. So hopefully this feature will find it's way in to Plesk.

16. Customize Plesk Premium Email Logo and Footer

    Currently, the means are available to edit it. But not an administrator interface, fast and simple, in order to be able to sell the service as a reseller or simply as an end user. Since it is a paid service. They should add more plugins like this.

17. create a mail setting so that messages from a specific mailbox could still be queued if outgoing mail limit was reached

    I have set some limits to Outgoing Mail Control. And there are times when the limit exceeds. When it exceeds, the default behavior is that sent messages will be rejected and will be bounced to the sender's inbox.

    I would like to have a separate setting so I can select a specific mailbox and messages from it could still be queued if limit was reached.

20. Create and Save Custom WPTK View

    Currently, WPTK doesn't save the settings if the amount of sites to display on the WPTK main site changes.

    The default view is 10 sites, if I change to "ALL" and close the session, the next time it will go back to 10 sites.

    WPTK should save the last view as currently Plesk does with other sites, like domains or customers.
