  1. add search and replace in code editor

    The ctrl-F feature provides a search function, but there is no search and replace that I can find. I'd like the file editor to have the same editing functions as notepad++.

  2. Post-update hooks in WordPress Toolkit

    Add post-update hooks in WordPress Toolkit, which can be used to automate the process of committing to Git (e.g. WordPress core and plugin updates that are automatically installed by WordPress Toolkit).

    Use case:

    Be able to respond to the event and write a program to do things like: a) commit the changes to the local git repository and push them to origin, b) trigger an alert in the monitoring system

    We've already introduced post-install hooks in WP Toolkit v6.6.1, so adding host-update hooks makes total sense. To clarify, current hooks mechanism is available for the server administrator, so if you'd like to use hooks as a regular customer without shell access, please let us know (since in this case the implementation will be quite different)

  3. Change language of notification content

    For Plesk with non-English default language (Vietnamese, for example), notifications' content is still in English.

    This is about shipping Plesk with email notification messages translated into all supported languages. Let’s find out how important this feature is for out customers. Please vote this request up to let us know you need it.

    As a temporary workaround, Plesk administrators can provide their own custom translations in Tools & Settings / Notifications.

    WP toolkit should manage PHP memory limit value specified in wp-config.ph: WPMAXMEMORY_LIMIT.

    This has been reported internally as requirement EXTWPTOOLK-3564.

  6. Make utf8mb4 default when backing up mysql databases

    When i backup database with Plesk (either with Export/Import feature or with Backup Manager), it loses all characters outside Unicode BMP (all characters > 0xFFFF).
    It's because mysqldump default charset is utf8, not utf8mb4.

    This should be changed, for example, if database contains at least one field with utf8mb4 charset - mysqldump should be run with --default-character-set=utf8mb4 option.

    Settings in /etc/mysql/conf.d/mysqldump.cnf are not respected too, it works when i use mysqldump from command-line, but doesn't work when i export or backup db with plesk.

  7. Appending strings using Plesk API

    Hello,

    Please add Extenshios API usitlity and method which allows to append string into a file.

    Now it is only possible to read from a file and overwrite a file:

  8. Redirect Plesk from HTTP to HTTPS on Windows

    Redirect http://hostname:8443 to https://hostname:8443 on Windows.

    Currently only Plesk on Linux can do this.

  12. Let's Encrypt: Be able to secure a domain with 100+ domain aliases by splitting the domain aliases in multiple certificates, instead of one

    A domain in Plesk has 100+ domain aliases.
    Currently, when securing this domain and all its aliases with a Let's Encrypt certificate, procedure fails due to a Let's Encrypt rate limit of 100 names per certificate.

    Use case:

    Domain in Plesk is a multisite.
    One installation is facilitating a lot of websites, running from the same core-CMS.
    All the sites on this multisite need to point to the same installation and the domain alias is the only solution to do so.
    It is these domain aliases that should be secured with a Let's Encrypt certificate.

    Message from customer:
    I am working on a separate account management panel and I want the customer to log in with the same password. Can I prevent the user changing the password in Plesk.

  14. Plesk Mobile with secure FTP support

    In a Plesk server configured with "Allow only secure FTP" the Mobile App throws the following error: "550 ssl/tls required on the control channel"

    Mobile App should connect with secure FTP by default, and if the server does not support secure ftp, then connect with plain text.

  15. WordPress Toolkit - Plugins/Themes view - Show only items which have update available, hide already updated

    Going to WordPress toolkit's Plugins view I get a listing of over 3000 plugins. It is quite hard to pick one-by-one the plugins that I choose to upgrade. It would be great to have a "filter" on that page, that I can only show the plugins that have updates available, hiding already updated plugins

  18. Manage mailing list from address directly in Plesk

    In Plesk Windows, by default, mailing lists are created with the sender address of moderator instead address of mailing list.

    So to fix the issue, and change the address of mailing list to mailing lists address instead moderator address, we need to acess the server via RDP, and change this configuration in MailEnable list settings.

    I suggest to implement this feature directly in Plesk control panel.
