Enable fetchmail feature
I would like to enable and configure fetchmail on mailbox level. Main reason is easy migration for customers to new hosting providers including moving mails from existing mail servers.
"fetchmail" is already installed together with PLESK, needs just to get properly configured.

Allow to manage SMTPUTF8 over Plesk Mailserver Settings
Would be good to be able to manage SMTPUFT8 option over Plesk so that it is not reverted after Plesk Updates and also to remove the need to manage this option over the Postfix config directly.

Allow configuration of MSMTP (SMTP relay)
Currently, there is no way to permanently change the MSMTP config in /etc/msmtprc and the Plesk options in "Mail > External SMTP Server" are not enough for Gmail and Zoho to even work.
Gmail problem:
While sending you get
errormsg='the server sent an empty reply'
Fix: add "tls_starttls off" to /etc/msmtprc
Zoho problem:
https://talk.plesk.com/threads/its-not-possible-to-send-notification-emails-from-plesk-using-and-external-smtp-msmtp.344922/#post-836533Please provide for us a way to change the config template or include additional configs, like we have for e.g. proftpd in /etc/proftpd.d/

disable automatic greylisting activation for new domains
If i add a new domain in a subscription, greylisting is automaticly activated, just because it's enabled on the server.
It would be much better if customers have to activate greylisting manually in their settings, like the spamfilter.
A workaround with Event Manager is possible but a bit inconvenient.

Better fighting spam
Hello Pleskians, here some appointments for a better antispam solution
- All major spammers knows rules of spamassassin so he very ineffective.
- The training mode (inside of round cube) "Mark as spam" DOENS'T WORK, does not matter how long, how much you mark as spam.
- If this suppose to work will be better to have a server-side to learn with all customers.
there is a plugin to integrate on Roundcube maybe will work
Control SpamAssassin settings from within Roundcube
https://plugins.roundcube.net/packages/johndoh/sauserprefsinto domain blacklist - please block as well subdomains
Create a separate area to add a mailserver black list based on…

Upd: We’re happy to announce that DMARC support is now available in Plesk Onyx. You can enable DMARC to check incoming mail on a Linux-based server (using any mail server supported by Plesk) or on a Windows-based server (using SmarterMail only). For more information about DMARC, see https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/whats-new/#s17

Create only mail accounts when mail is actually enabled, instead of on domain creation
As soon as any account is created in Plesk, a mail account is setup in Smartermail, used for managing the mail domain. This is one of the few minor issues for those using Plesk in a load balanced solution (which is actually remarkably possible!). It is also tricky for those running a limited smartermail license (e.g. 250 accounts, many of which are now unwanted Plesk management accounts).
It should not be so difficult to setup the mail account only when mail is enabled on a domain, and have Plesk just leave the mail server alone for domains that do not…

Improve the Mailqueue View to show the status
The actual MailQueue status is useless, becaus the "status" of the email isnt viewed. This contains the important information for mails with problems.... Please expand it with the status, like it is done win Webim for example

Import emails in batches
There is a Mail Importing feature in Site Import extension, but it is possible only to migrate emails one by one. It would be great if there is an ability to migrate a couple of mailboxes at once.

Customizable Plesk notification email address
Plesk has the ability to send notifications. However, with the latest version (v18.0.32) these are sent to my "External email address" of the admin user. But since I as admin user enter my Apple iCloud email "name@icloud.com" there, it is used as both sender and recipient and all notification emails end up in the spam folder of my iCloud mail.
It would be really great if you could separate the administrator email from the notification email address and change it specifically so that email notifications are sent from "Plesk@domain.tld" to the external administrator email "name@icloud.com…26 votesAs https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/16956373-set-a-senders-email-address-for-plesk-notification was resolved and the sender address of notifications is now customizable we are wondering whether the issue described in this feature request cannot also be considered solved. The issue here was described as sender and recipient being the same address so that notifications are evaluated as "spam" at the recipient's mailbox. However, now that the sender address can be customized, this could easily be circumvented.
Further, the recipient address of notifications can be freely set in the notifications page.
Please comment if and why this feature request is still actual.

Block users from re-using old password, especially for mailboxes
System could remember a certain number of old passwords (admin configurable) and prevent user from selecting these again.
Have had more cases than I'd like to admit where customer re-used a previously compromised password. If Plesk remembered the last x passwords used by that account it would help.
Also adding ability so Plesk checks a server configurable password blacklist before accepting customers new selection would be appreciated.

SpamAssassin check should always happen before forwarding
According to https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000786914-How-to-enable-SpamAssassin-spam-check-for-forwarded-emails-on-Windows when the option "Apply individual settings to spam filtering" is enabled, filtering of forwarded emails is not performed and additional steps are required.
Please, make it so that no additional steps would be required.

DKIM - needed to import own keys
DKIM - needed to import own keys
It is not fair solution that Plesk generate a private key, and i cannot extract and date them in a seperate Backup
Please let us import our own DKIM keys
25 votesOne good reason why it is important to use own DKIM key is that for sending mail from different servers that service the same domain (e.g. during a migration) the key on the target needs to be the same as on the source.
We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

Dovecot: mdbox and alternate storage support
http://forum.odin.com/threads/dovecot-mdbox-and-altmove-support-in-plesk.334620/
It would be really handy if we could, via Plesk panel or some cli utility, o switch from Maildir to mdbox as mailbox storage format and enable alternate storage for old emails. This way we can optimize the disk usage by using the fast storage media for recent emails, while the old stuff can go on a slower, cheaper media. Will also help a lot in growing our mail customer base without forking out ridiculous amounts of money for expensive fast disks arrays to keep up with the growth rate.

UI for configure outgoing Mail Server by Domain
Add Plesk Panel UI for configure outgoing Mail Server.
""In Plesk for Linux with the Postfix mail server, you can change the IP address used for sending mail. Also, if your server sends mail from domain IP addresses, you can specify which name will be used as a host name in SMTP greetings.""
So a UI where the Admin of Plesk Server can, change the settings for outgoing Mails.
Send from domain IP addresses and use domain names in SMTP settings.24 votes -
