Webmail - Enable users to edit out of office (auto-response) message in webmail directly
I'm not sure if any webmail option right now allows the email user to update their out of office / auto response message. I think the email user has to login to Plesk to be able to edit that right now (which is annoying).
Anyone have any suggestion on this?
113 votesThis feature is already available...
- in Plesk Premium Email (https://www.plesk.com/plesk-premium-email/, "Out-of-office autoresponder")
- in Roundcube webmail (Roundcube / Settings / Filters / need to create a new filter to answer all incoming emails)
- in SOGo webmail (SOGo / Settings / Mail / Vacation / "Enable vacation auto reply")

Add compression settings for domain output
I want to see domain level setting that allows output from server to be compressed before being sent to the client over the network.
Now Plesk does not setup nginx/apache/iis to compress output.
18 votesFrom Plesk Onyx 17.8 for Windows, the Dynamic Content Compression can be enabled using Plesk Installer https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/web-servers/iis-web-server-windows/iis-dynamic-compression-support.78852/

Make PHP on Windows use the Non-Thread Safe Version
On Windows, IIS does not need the thread safe version of PHP. Using the thread safe version of PHP really slows down PHP website and delivers a sub-par experience. Please make PHP be non-thread safe so that we get better performance.
Also, Installing and enabling WinCache by default would be really nice!
3 votesWe already ship PHP 5.4 and 5.5 as Non-Thread Safe Versions. Plesk 12.1 will also ship PHP 5.6 as Non-Thread Safe version
Please create a separate request for WinCache installation so that other idea supporters can vote for it.

Syntax highlighting on edit files in file manager
From time to time it's needed to edit files in file manager. It's very uncomfortable to edit files w/o syntax highlighting and monospaced font.

Bring back the transfer details from Plesk 8 Migration Manager
In Plesk 8.6.x you would get a per file progress bar.
Together with transfer speeds etc.A very nice feature!

Reset password from login screen
Reset password: Choose a domain or reseller username and request password. then send out a confirmation mail to email what is in your database. Then after confirm, reset PLESk access.
14 votesWe consider that this is covered by “Forgot password” function on a login screen.
There is only one exception – for mail users. But there is a separate request here https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/14903595-please-provide-a-forget-password-option-for-mail-u -
Backup into Cloud
http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=262215
There are quite many free and commercial cloud storages at the day where user could keep their backup. But many storages wouldn't offer FTP access. It may be helpful if Plesk could transparently upload backups into a customer's Dropbox, Amazon or Azure account.
440 votesHappy to announce that Plesk 17.8 supports backup to S3, Google Drive, OneDrive cloud storages:

mod_ruid2 /mpm-itk
Running PHP under "apache" user is quite troublesome because of permanent file ownership problems - FTP user cannot access files saved by Apache, Apache cannot access files just uploaded by FTP user, etc.
Plesk already supports FastCGI as a kind of a solution, but maybe mod_ruid2/mpm-itk would be better option?
44 votesAfter a research performed, we concluded that PHP-FPM would be a better option than mod_ruid2
PHP-FPM is already supported in the latest Plesk 12.5 (http://devblog.plesk.com/2015/09/plesk-12-5-rtm/)
We will merge this request with PHP-FPM request
Thank you!
