Lock DNS records | Disable Reset to default
We have the "dmarc"- record in our template having a placeholder for the value. At the time the Record "dmarc" was edited by adding the value, mostly every DNS record is no more in the state of the DNS template.
Therefore it is important to have some policies:
- The button "Reset to default" can be disabled on Admin and Reseller level.
- The button "Master/*****" can be disabled. Usually this functionality is not needed.
- For certain very important DNS setting, a "Lock" button might make sense. If applied, this record can not be edited anymore by…3 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it will be popular.

WHMCS module for WordPress Toolkit
Is it possible to have an WHMCS module created exclusively for WordPress Toolkit, in order to allow clients to use it's options from within WHMCS's client areas?
Basically have clients don't leave WHMCS client areas and perform some actions from within their WHMCS client account (add new site if set multiple WordPress installs in hosting package, backup and restore, install let's encrypt ssl, activate/deactivate nginx, remove site, creati staging site etc...).

Exclude internal requests from the Traffic statistics
Plesk seems to add up the request response size,
including those of its own extenal IP address.
We would like to disable this behaviour or filter out this info, because
this is not the actual traffic. We have customers that have a lot of internal requests because of some
caching module where about 50% of the total traffic is from its own IP.7 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases, if it will be popular.

Custom Buttons per customer
Customers may add their own Buttons for several reasons, eg. Link to the CMS Administration.
Therefore i suggest the possibility to create custom buttons on a per customer base.

Add warning message if Postgres installed on the Web Admin License but without Developer pack extension
The Postgres installed on the Plesk Web Admin edition but not persists in Tools & Settings > Database servers.
To manage PostgreSQL Developer pack extension required. But it does not produce any warnings about that which is confusing.
Also, there is no information about Developer pack in license management. I would suggest to add new tab "paid extension" in Tools & Settings > Licensing management

Web deployment instructions, password
It's not clear which password to use in web deploy (visual studio 2017) to IIS. As I understand I should use FTP account password. But which one? Which root folder should be at FTP user?
Please create a separate page for web deploy with instructions and settings export.2 votesThank you for your input. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases, if it will be popular.

The ability to clone WordPress multisite
WordPress Toolkit Clone feature also available for in supports WordPress multisite.
6 votesIn WP Multisite installations you have one single WP controlling many different websites and domains. "Cloning" a multisite installation seems to be a challenge, because when you clone a site, you need to mention a target where to clone the site to (a new URL, a new subdomain). As a multisite installation has many URLs, it seems impossible to clone these to one single domain. It will be unclear which domain is actually cloned or how to map source to target.
But as always, we're open for ideas and would love to hear more details from you how you imagine the workflow. Please describe in your comments what you expect to happen when you clone a multisite installation, e.g. how you'd want to map source to target(s). Would you for example want to see a dialog where you can enter new domains and subdomains for each existing URL in the…

Add the ability to enable or disable Plesk Premium Email for particular mailboxes
Currently, Plesk Premium Email can be enabled only for a subscription.
But Plesk Premium Email license differ by a number of users, so, to not exceed the license limit, it'll be handy to define which particular mailboxes on a subscription have the ability to use Plesk Premium Email62 votesThank you for your input! Add Let's Encrypt Support to Plesk *.domain addresses
The new wildcard SSL support for Let's Encrypt is awesome!
Except that it doesn't work the way a person would expect. For example, when I install a SSL from GoDaddy, I can click my "exampledomain.com" button, and add the SSL. Then I can click my " *.exampledomain.com" button, and add the SSL.
This currently does not work with Let's Encrypt. With LE, I can click into "exampledomain.com" and set up a "*.exampledomain.com " Let's Encrypt SSL. It will properly secure exampledomain.com .
BUT, when I go to the "*.exampledomain.com" in Plesk, and click "Hosting Settings", I cannot select the *.…

Nginx restart interval functionality
An Nginx restart interval should be helpful for situations when users use API calls to modify domain's PHP settings. This results in multiple nginx reloads:
/var/log/plesk/rc_actions:
INFO: [Tue Feb 26 15:26:00 CET 2019]: Service: nginx, Action: try-reload
INFO: [Tue Feb 26 15:26:44 CET 2019]: Service: nginx, Action: try-reload
INFO: [Tue Feb 26 15:26:59 CET 2019]: Service: nginx, Action: try-reload
INFO: [Tue Feb 26 15:28:06 CET 2019]: Service: nginx, Action: try-reload
INFO: [Tue Feb 26 15:29:11 CET 2019]: Service: nginx, Action: try-reloadA similar functionality exists for apache in Tools & Settings > Apache web server > Restart interval.

block bad bots by default
There are many bots that can actually DoS a server using Plesk. Since there's no way to limit their connections they can overload a server really easily. Currently the only way to block them is by reading the logs and implementing blocks in nginx or .htaccess rules.
It would be great if there could be some security by default. The community has created very comprehensive lists that could be used and auto updated / maintained by cron jobs.
Here's an example for Apache
https://github.com/mitchellkrogza/apache-ultimate-bad-bot-blocker/tree/master/Apache_2.4
And here's for Nginx

check passwords against Pwned Passwords API
Plesk should check user typed passwords against Pwned Passwords API
https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/v2
that way you could further improve systems running Plesk against Brute-Force attacks - and Dictionary attacks
WordFence plugin for WordPress is already offering this, checking WordPress administrator passwords against https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/v2
it shouldn't be too much work to compare Plesk password hash between Plesk and https://haveibeenpwned.com/API/
I would like to use this feature for all services (FTP, E-Mail, Plesk, WordPress, etc.)
It makes a lot of sense to do this, there are no drawbacks
it should be option that users can enable/disable
if you don't need it, you can disable…8 votesThank you for your input. We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases, if it will be popular.

Let's encrypt wildcard for domain aliases
Currently, when requesting a wildcard certificate for a domain with multiple domain aliases, only the main domain gets a wildcard.
Let say you have a main domain domain.com and have 3 subdomains domain.fr, domain.co.jp and domain.eu.
When requesting a wildcard certificate including all aliases, you'll get :
domain.com
*.domain.com
domain.fr
domain.co.jp
domain.euwhere it would be more logical and usefull to have :
domain.com
*.domain.com
domain.fr
*.domain.fr
domain.co.jp
*.domain.co.jp
domain.eu
*.domain.eu7 votes
