Provide a GUI updater for MariaDB and MySQL
Hello,
Would it be possible to update the mySQL or MariaDB to newer version in the plesk panel like it is in cPanel?
Thanks in advance.
34 votesAvailable starting Plesk 18.0.60 version.
We are glad to announce that the ability to upgrade MariaDB database servers to the latest version in the LTS branch via the Plesk interface is no longer in beta! We thank everyone who tried the beta version for their participation and feedback.
To access this feature, go to Tools & Settings > Database Servers (under “Applications & Databases”), and then click Upgrade Now next to an eligible MariaDB database server.

not changing event_id for event_handler
Hi
We built some scripts to add some new events by CLI (due it is not possible by XML- API) to our over 70 Plesk installations. We detected, that in several Plesk installations (even with the same Plesk- Version number), the IDs of the events (plesk bin event_handler --list-events) changes. So we can't use a script. We always have to check and fix the "Event" manually. it would be helpfull to use static ids (even for different versions of plesk) or a speaking id (exp. "reseller-limit-changed", "susbscripion-limit-changed")...

Ask for confirmation when click on "Install Wordpress"'s button.
On a website that's already installed with Wordpress the button to Install Wordpress still appears and sometimes when you misclick, another installation of wordpress starts.
Please add an option/or directly Ask for confirmation when clicking on "Install Wordpress" because of a mis-click, once the installation starts there is no way to stop it, and it installs on the same website that has already Wordpress installed.
7 votesWe have redesigned the installation experience and now you cannot accidentally install WordPress anymore (you have to make at least one confirmation click). Enjoy!

1 voteThank you for your input!
We already have a firewall component (docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-gui..), is there a particular reason you are not using this feature?

Git extension: allow configuring a default deploy-to directory
Right now, you cannot set the git deploy-to directory until after the repository is setup and deployed the first time. After you "fix" it, it deploys again on the new path, but does not clean up the wrong deployment it did during setup.
I use a "/data/web/htdocs" path for all my customers, and it is painful to reconfigure git deployment for each of them. A default setting would be very nice.
1 voteThank you for your input!
Could you please why you cannot change deploy-to directory via click “to /httpdocs/ directory”
(see right side on screenshot https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/website-management/git-support/using-remote-git-hosting.75848/#o76294)?— AY
Upd: Thank you for confirmation. We are closing the request as completed.

show let's encrypt certificate expiration date
As Let's Encrypt keeps on telling me to renew my certificates and plesk tells me that it automatically rene s 30 days before expiration it would be handy to actually SEE the expiration date on the let's encrypt or on the certificate pages.
11 votesThe feature is available in Advisor extension (Plesk Onyx 17.8) as “Security > Secure Websites With SSL/TLS Certificates” recommendation.

Add PHP 7.2 alpha
I know that we currently are in Alpha phase and PHP 7.2 should not be used fpr production but it would be nice to have an early implementation to get it activated for early stage users.
Maybe when the first beta is out Plesk is able to add it in general?9 votesShortly after introducing PHP 7.2.0 RC in Plesk Onyx 17.8 preview,
we are happy to bring final release of PHP 7.2.0 in Plesk Onyx 17.5
https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#contents-1753-mu33As usual, further PHP 7.2 updates will be shipped shortly after their release by PHP

manage PHP-FPM max_children
It is currently quite painful to set and KEEP php-fpm maxchildren to a desired value.
At the moment the default value of 5 is not available in the management interface and it seems to be reset back to 5 when a change is made in the subscription. Then we get errors about maxchildren reached and we have to manually update it once more.
See here: https://talk.plesk.com/threads/php-fpm-max-children.336889/I suggest adding a default value that is used when creating a new subscription and the ability to modify it in the subscription php settings.
5 votesWe’re happy to announce that PHP-FPM setting max_children can be customized in Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 Update 32.
If you have any feedback on the implementation of this feature, please let us know on the forum: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/plesk-onyx.744/
We’re closing this request since managing PHP-FPM max_children is available.
