1. Please make the "File Sharing" tab optional for different user roles

   I would like this feature optional. I want a way to remove it from the plesk navigation depending upon the User Role.

   The name can easily be confused with the "Files" tab which is what we use and encourage our clients to use.

2. DKIM Weekly Rotation of key, with new 'selector' where previous selector is removed the next week

   Rotating DKIM is highly important.

   Currently, it' **** easy to rotate the DKIM key on Plesk, not to talk of updating DNS and running Route 53 update.

   This is asked to be implmented, where a second key is added, and new mails use it.

   Old key would be depreciated a week later, as previous emails are still in the progress.

   Rotate your DKIM keys regularly – Rotating our DKIM keys allowed us to quickly stop the attack and buy time for the permanent solution. Although tedious and risky to do manually, Proton’s DKIM key management system(new window) allowed us to easily do this in minutes, and this system is the same system used for all domains hosted at Proton. The system also automatically rotates keys regularly to reduce the risk of key compromise.

3. cloud storage for scheduled domain backups

   You can store full server backups, manual and scheduled, and manual domain backups directly to cloud services but not scheduled domain backups. It's an obvious gap in functionality that could very easily be added and would make domain backups much more useful.

4. Ability to select the right certificate in Migrator

   If a customer(account) has more than one certs in his "store" , than migrator do not use the correct one on the new destination, the extension provides always the first in store .. this is only an information, but this is very "annoying" - the migrator could be faster and the fetching is very slow too , but up to this "issue" the extension works good.

7. Support for node-red

   I miss node-red extension to install and setup for featuring my website with the web hosting pkg.
   For now, I'll take a second server with root, so I can access the shell and install everything to fulfill my tiny and simple but dynamically website with a MQTT broker. But it would be great if you could integrate it to the standard web hosting pkg.

   Ability to import a domain with rsync from the panel from another server with SSH to import all or select folders to import. To import manually or automatically. 14. Integration with localwp

    Localwp (https://localwp.com/) is an amazing tool for WordPress development. It integrates with two hosts, FlyWheel and WPEngine, which works amazingly well as well. You can clone an environment from the host to your local environment and upload it back to your host in a matter of a few clicks.

    Cloning a website from a production server to a staging server and vice versa can be done with a few clicks in the WP Toolkit that comes with Plesk. It is already very easy to have a staging environment online in the same webspace account like the production website, yet in a separate domain or subdomain where all settings can be individually tested risk-free. This is technically much better than to have an installation locally, because it shares the same environment with the production website. There is no need for a third-party solution as WP Toolkit already has all that is needed. 

    However, we know that users like to stay with the software they are accustomed to. Plesk has a solution for it: If you prefer to have an interface from localwp to Plesk, please suggest to localwp developers to create an extension for Plesk using the free Plesk API.

16. Add support for the Cluster module in Passenger

    Add support for the Cluster module in Passenger supplied with Plesk:

    Currently, when Node Cluster module is called on a NodeJS application configured in Plesk in development mode, the following error is be shown:

17. deny access to .git folder by default

    I think it would be great if you could prevent access to .git folders that are usually left exposed by users in the server when building the vhost templates .

    It's very common that users forget to remove credentials and other sensitive information out of their repositories so by leaving the folder exposed it's possible for an attacker to gain access to this sensitive information.

    Currently we manually protect those folders when we spot them but it would be nice if this was implemented from the start.

    For example in nginx the following rule could be used.

18. Allow user to set timezone for File manager

    It would be extremely helpful to be able to set the timezone in the File manager. Currently the file manager shows the file timestamp in the timezone where the server is running. A user is not always aware of the physical location of the server to which they have logged in.

    There should be a setting (or a toggle) on the file manager to allow the user to see the timezone that is being used for display. It would be even better to allow the user to set the timezone for which they wish to see the timestamps. The optimal solution would be to use javascript to identify the local timezone for the browser and automatically adjust the time stamps to local time for the user.

    This is fairly trivial to implement by first casting the timestamp to UTC and then using toLocaleString() to convert the display value.

19. Ability to track number of simultaneous connections to the MySQL

    Sometimes Plesk is not accessible with error:
    DB query failed: "SET sql_mode = ''" Error: SQLSTATE[08004] [1040] Too many connections

    It is possible to inrease the number of connections but it will also be good to have some monitoring of the current number of simultaneous connections to the MySQL, for example in Advanced Monitoring extension.

    It will help to prevent Plesk downtime and set the reasonabl limit for max_connections

20. Pass variables specifed in Ruby menu in field "Custom environment variables" to rake tasks

    Currently, the option "Custom environment variables" in the menu "Ruby" on a domain is used only for passing environment variables to the application.
    But it's also required to pass environment variables to the rake tasks as well, and in the current implementation, it's necessary to specify necessary variables in the window "Run rake task" each time a rake tasks needs to be executed.
    Variables specifed in the option "Custom environment variables" should be passed to rake tasks as well, as similar options work this way in other products known for developers and used for hosting Ruby apps like Heroku and DigitalOcean.
