backup local and remote at once
I've seen many options for backups, but it would be a great addition if we could use the backup schedule to make a backup local AND somewhere remote.
Now i can schedule backups either only local or only remote and since i cannot make multiple schedules for remote backups and local backups i have to make local backups with the scheduler and do things by hand to get another backup in my personal FTP storage.
I prefer to have backups local, for quick restore availability and remote for when sh*t hits the fan.
So, i'd like to see an option…

Add option for minimum 8 characters in Plesk > Home > Tools & Settings > Security Policy > Password.
You can label it as "Stronger".

Disable mail service simplified
There is actually no way to create "real" "Web service only" subscription. If the subscription plan is set without any mailbox the mailservice is enable on that subscription BUT not accessible in the panel. It's necessary to change the subscription settings to access the disable button or in command line by :
/usr/local/psa/bin/subscription --update domaine.com -mailservice false
Without disabling mail_service the web service will not be able to send email to subscription's domain external hosted mail address. It would be great to be able to set a plan of "web only" subscription to host website when the mail…
21 votesImplemented in Plesk Onyx 17.9 Preview 7 – https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/change-log/#contents-179-preview7
Users can now remove the Plesk mail service for a domain or choose not to create it when a domain is created. This is useful when using a remote mail service – mail to domains hosted in Plesk will no longer be delivered locally.

Add management of webmail SSL certificates
I would like to propose the management of SSL certificates for webmail in plesk panel.
Now, unless you use a wildcard certificate, you cannot secure your webmail with a valid SSL certificate.
Please make the SSL certificate used for webmail.<domain> .
Please also add a configurable central url for webmail, with SSL support, and add a redirect option to that url for webmail.<domain>
E.G. visitors for http://webmail.<customerdomain> will be redirected to https://<configuredwebmailurl>211 votesWe’re happy to announce that this feature is now available in Plesk Onyx, which was released recently for early adopters. You can try Plesk Onyx here: https://www.plesk.com/onyx/
If you have any feedback on the implementation of this feature, please let us know on the forum: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/plesk-onyx.744/

WordPress Installation tool: Change directory Url
It needs a possibility to change the URL or reload the correct Url of the installtion.
36 votesStarting with WPT 4.6, WordPress administrators can automatically update their website URL in the WordPress database and wp-config.php file based on the actual current URL. This procedure is particularly useful after migrating a website from a different location like your local workstation. The Update Site URL feature is available in the “hamburger” (context drop-down menu) on a WordPress site card.
If you have feedback on this feature, let us know at our forum (https://talk.plesk.com) or other communication channels.

Option to set global hostmaster address (SOA)
Right now, every domain gets the hostmaster mailaddress from the correspondent client data in Plesk. It is stored in dns_zone table and not changeable globally.
Especially for resellers it would be great to override this setting with a global hostmaster address (e.g. hostmaster@domain.com) set through Plesk admin interface - a manual change to be done each time a new domain is registered is not really comfortable.Furthermore, if the client mail is set as hostmaster, addresses like name.surname@domain.com are not escaped and lead to a soa entry like name@surname.domain.com. This should also be fixed.
27 votes1) “Option to set global hostmaster address (SOA)”
This feature is already available since versions:
- Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 MU#58.
- Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 MU#22
- Plesk Onyx 17.9 Preview 5Open “Tools & Settings / DNS Template / SOA Records Template /” and check “Email (RNAME)” settings.
Let us know if you have any feedback2) If the client mail is set as hostmaster, addresses like name.surname@domain.com are not escaped…
Unfortunately, we cannot confirm this issue. If you have additional information about this issue or want to get advice from the community, please go to our forum at talk.plesk.com. Thank you.

Block the IP of the selected country in Firewall
Firewall should be able to block the IP of the selected country. I have a lot of traffic from the IP 5.10. *. *

The feature is based on ipsets and works out of the box.

Support for HTTP Strict Transport Security / HSTS
I'm wondering if Plesk also will implent HTTP Strict Transport (or HSTS) Security in the GUI. It's an extra layer of security for sites who need to be extra secure.
It's being done with a special header (mod_headers for Apache) and a TLS connection. The client (browser) can then verify if the server is the real server and not a man-in-the-middle server/attack.
It's as simple as adding the following code to the vhost config (HTTPS only!):
Apache:
Header always set Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains"Nginx:
add_header Strict-Transport-Security "max-age=31536000; includeSubDomains";441 votesHi!

Configurable Admin Permissions
Since we are now able to create more than 1 Administrator within Plesk - it would be a good addition if one would be able to give those Admins particular Rights within Plesk.
I don't want my "Everyday-Admin" to be able to stop Services within Plesk or even Shut-Down the whole Server within the Panel ...I want them to do their work with Customers/Domains/Hostings ... but access to the "real Admin Areas" should be restricted ...
17 votesGood news everyone!
This functionality was added in Plesk Obsidian RTM release. We suggest you upgrade to the latest version and check it out.
