1. Plesk admin control panel warning if any mailbox is reaching limits

   Presently, I normally learn that a client has a full mailbox when they call with email issue. I am thinking it would be nice if when I login the Plesk admin control panel, it would be nice if a small area could show if any mailboxes were at 95% or great capacity. Maybe call it Mail Level Monitor. Then if I could decide to up the level, or contact the client to talk about mail client settings & mail management. A proactive approach.

3. add permission to disable "certificate selection"

   Add permission to disable "for certificate selection"

   Use case: if "hosting management" permission is disabled in Subscription > Customize > Permissions > Hosting management - uncheck, an additional Plesk user still able to select SSL certificate in "hosting settings" of domain. User can set certificate to none and thus violate website security.

   Add option in Permissions to forbid certificate selection by user to prevent such cases.

4. Implement XML API maillist operator for REST API and CLI

   Since Plesk Onyx 17.8, maillist XML API operator has been dropped due to it's low usage.

   CLI does not cover everything and therefore it would be needed to to be correctly implemented for CLI as well as for REST API if possible.

5. Make it possible to setup a Microsoft DNS Server as Master, and another Microsoft DNS Server one as *****, that replicate/synchronise.

   I have the need to have an backup DNS Server, and especially using Microsoft DNS on both servers.
   This because we have scripts that have to be ran on Microsoft DNS Servers, to generate Let's Encrypt certificates for non-web purposes.

   And syncing the DNS on both MS DNS servers will give us near no downtime in DNS when its replicated.

6. PostgreSQL integration and tuning

   Please do better integration of PostgreSQL into Plesk like CPU and memory usage in Health Monitoring and Dump button in Database page. Please also add PostgreSQL tuning into Plesk, especially for modern hardware with 32 or 64 GB memory and 4 to 8 cores and fast SSD or NVMe drives. Thanks!

7. Integrate option to interrupt copy processes

   I've copied a larger website to another destination, but I needed to interrupt the process, because something needed to get changed first. But there is no way to do so, I needed to wait a couple minutes before the task was done, why is there no option to cancel the current process? You could add an additional alert, if someone really wants to cancel it, but I see no reason, why this option is not available at all.

9. Backup via SSHFS

   We have huge amounts of Backup Data (currently around 450gb per file). The whole process using FTP takes around ~ 13 hours to complete. Trying to restore something is a big bottleneck for us. Restoring from FTP is ****, and we searched for alternatives.

   We decided to give SSHFS a try by mounting /var/lib/psa/dumps to the remote Server and disconfigured the FTP Settings. The result is annoying. The Backup now takes around 2,5 hours, the Plesk Backend is really fast now and local space is not consumed anymore!

   So i suggest you to give SSHFS a try. It is like NFS but really easy. You can take a look at CURLFTPFS too! It can be used to mount external FTP Servers, but we decided to use SSHFS because of its simplicity...

   It is easy to mount /var/lib/psa/dumps using the following command:

   cat ~/.PASSWORDFORREMOTESERVER | sshfs -o passwordstdin,uid=id -u psaadm,gid=getent group psaadm | cut -d: -f3,Ciphers=arcfour,Compression=no,kernel_cache,workaround=rename USER@HOST:/DIRECTORY /var/lib/psa/dumps

   You only have to store the password for the remote Server in an hidden file, e.g "/root/.backupserver" and pipe it to sshfs using the option -o passwordstdin. On the remote Server you have to enable the Ciphers arcfour in your sshd_config to make it work. This will make the whole connection faster.

   After mounting the folder you can disable the FTP Settings in Plesk and therefor he writes to the local folder...

   With using SSHFS the Backups are now created within 2,5 hours!

   Give it a try! :-)

10. ability to change IP for particular domain

    Currently, in Plesk it possible to change IP only on subscription level. As a result, the IP is changed for all domains under subscription. The ability to change IP on domain level would be very useful

12. Website Importer must allow FTPS connections

    Let's face it, any host doing things right will have plain FTP disabled. Therefore the Website Importer will almost always fail. It absolutely has to be able to connect over FTPES/FTPS. Is this even on the roadmap? It's a great feature, if only it could work.

13. Event manager: Add a hook before an event is processed

    Hello all,
    I hope this idea can be shared with many of you.

    Actually in the Events manager you can handle a task, an action you can run AFTER the event occurs. Can be really usefull to have the same BEFORE, I'm going to explain:

    Make an example can be when a Subscription or a Domain is going to be removed from the hosting server, can be really usefull to backup data or something else similar before the task is executed.

    At moment is impossible to handle a task before an event occurs, we hope can be usefull for other people and you will vote for this.

14. fail2ban - Add Details (Login Name)

    Often large Companies with lot's of Workstation are getting blocked because 1 Client in their Office is trying to log in with wrong Password (imap/pop/smtp) - then the whole Office of them is getting blocked and the search which PC/which User is causing the block.starts ...
    It would help big times if one got a reference which Login Name / Username caused the block as additional Info next to the IP ...
    Won't help on Brute Force Attacks where the Username changes ... but on this Scenario it would be a big Timesaver ...

20. Restore PostgreSQL databases that has some objects owned by postgres user from Plesk Backup

    It would be great to have an ability to restore PostgreSQL databases that has some objects owned by postgres user from Plesk Backup. As of now, backup is created without any errors, however it is not possible to restore the database because restoration is done not in behalf of postgres user.

    Or at least have a warning when backup is created that I have to restore the database as a postgres user from the command line and do not rely on backup of the database created via backup manager.
