Assign separate SSL certificates for multiple mail servers
Allow the ability to assign separate SSL certificates for multiple mail servers.
Available since Plesk Obsidian RC3. Windows: modern version of MailEnable required (shipped with Plesk), Linux: modern versions of Postfix (shipped with Plesk) and Dovecot (shipped by most OS vendors) required.
Please read the docs: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/obsidian/customer-guide/websites-and-domains/securing-connections-with-ssltls-certificates/protecting-webmail-and-mail-with-ssltls-certificates.76531/

not to be picky here, as i am glad this feature is finally done...
but, would it be possible to have the ability to specify certs for incoming and outgoing servers?
right now when you enable this only mail.<domain>.tld gets the cert. if a client has smtp.<domain>.tld, or pop, or imap, or anything other then mail. then this does not work.

As this is still not resolved, I'm currently shopping around for alternatives. As mail hosting is my main focus, has anyone experience with Sentora in this regard? Open Source is a big plus. Plesk selling essential features (see: HSTS) as premium plugins is disappointing.

  There's a start: https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/32132116-it-would-be-nice-to-provide-mail-ssl-tls-support-w
I'm wondering when this issue is going to be picked up by the developers. There's some progress though! :)

please implement this feature. it will cause many from cpanel to swap over to plesk. personally it would really benefit the needs of my server.

This is no longer a "feature", this is a "requirement" for multiple email clients, like Outlook 2016 and Google users. We need an ETA!

Please add this, really missing this future.. So many problems with users having problems, especially on Apple products because of the certificates ( unable to use e-mail on Apple products in combination with Plesk, only if they use server address with valid SSL configured - but this is undesired if their account moves from Plesk server ).

+1 to Rene's comments. Even my kids are saying how unprofessional the email service is right now.

That's the point ! Of course this is a need and must be. How manage multi domains email certificate without that ? Your selling products to do multi domains hosting but not mails servers .. that's kind illogical ... It's soon Christmas, so please give us all this present ... Regards, Sacha

We need this. Customers unable to use their own domain for secure mailing makes providing professional hosting services on plesk next to impossible.

Different certificates per IP and protocol https://wiki.dovecot.org/SSL/DovecotConfiguration
May be postfix can do the same ?
