  1. Forbid customers to remove some specific folders via FileManager or FTP

    It would be very helpful to add a new feature in Plesk in order to deny customers to remove some specific folders via FileManager or FTP.

    For example:
    Currently, any customer can get in website root folder /var/www/vhost/example.com/ > Select all folders > Remove them. This can cause a big problem as it will remove error_docs, logs, httpdocs, GIT keys and other subdomain content.

    With this new feature, Plesk administrator will be sure that these folders will not be deleted, however, the customer still will be able to create, modify, content from his folders.

  2. Disable customer log files from disk space calculation only for one subscription

    Disable customer log files from /var/www/example.com/logs from disk space calculation only for one subscription. This could be done, enabling such option in Permissions tab for the affected Service Plan's subscription.

  4. install sql server reporting services with SQL server on shared hosting. Would be a valuable & useful feature for your product & consumers.

    Availability of reporting services on SQL server would be very useful on shared web hosting. My new ISP says Plesk doesn't support reporting services. I think it would be great if you did - not every site is a blog or simple brochure style. Any small scale business site still requires reporting, and SSRS is a natural fit for ASP.Net hosting.

  5. Manage notification during database copy

    Currently, when the database is copied the notification is sent to subscription owner.
    It would be good to add functionality to disable such notifications or change the recipient mail address.

    Hi,

    I would like to suggest you to create an automatic way or an extension that sync Plesk settings for a domain and a MAMP local website ?
    This manner could increase speed and connectivity between a local and web environment

  8. Wordpress Toolkit - URL switch (main URL <=> preview URL)

    Hello,

    I would like to suggest something which could be VERY helpfull to customers which are moving their Wordpress instances between servers. Lets say you have domain.com on Server1. Then you are moving it to Server2 with Plesk and Wordpress Toolkit but domain.com is still pointing to Server1. Issue with Wordpress is that if you don't use main URL then all media files (css, images etc) are not being loaded correctly and customer can't be sure if everything will work correctly when he switch DNS settings for domain.com from Server1 to Server2.

    My suggestion is that it would be great…

  9. Add hide "Hard quota on disk space" notice option for customer

    Permission "Hard disk quota assignment" does not allow to manage "Hard quota on disk space" for customer, but it doesn't hide "Hard quota on disk space" notice for customer in "Web Hosting Access"
    It's required to hide this notice for customer.

  10. Сharge customers based on their website visitors, rather than allocated server resources

    Add option in Service Plan Resources, which can regulate number of users.

    Allow set different bills by the end of period (month) according to the number of visitors

  13. Having possibility to add multiple addons to service plans

    Hello,

    can you consider adding possibility to have one Service Plan Addon to be added multiple times to one subscription?

    For example Service plan with 2GB of hosting space could be extended with 5x of 1GB plan addon. This could be used with WHMCS which allows buying configurable options to hosting plans during hosting time period and users could extend their hosting space whenever they need it without changing their hosting plan to higher since they mostly need hosting space without any additional features.

  14. Plesk Migrator : ability to exclude folder/files from migration

    Sometimes, migration has to be quick.
    But when there is a domain containing many big files (videos, big archive, ...) that will slow the migration process.
    It would be a good idea, I think, to let the user exclude/include folder from migration process.
    May be just add an option in the CLI command like :
    plesk-migrator copy-contents --skip-folders-list=[FILE WITH FOLDER LIST]

    Ability to create custom MX records via DNS Templates with <domain> placeholder in the middle of the value.

    For example, currently, it is not possible to create a record via DNS Templates:
    <domain>. MX mx.<domain>.example.com

    It can be useful for setting up an external mail service with a hostname based on a domain name.

    Allow the Plesk administrator to modify the "Account Activation" notification email that is sent when a new user is created.

    Currently there is no way to change this in Tools & Settings > Notifications.

  19. API: let customer be able to manage his own site-aliases

    Currently only the Administrators can manage site-aliases with the API.
    Why is it not possible for customers to manage site-aliases of their own sites, while they can manage their sites and subscriptions ?
    Now I have to use administrator access in the API on a single website, which is a security issue. This website can now manage everything. I would prefer to use the credentials of the customer to manage it.

  20. Allow disabling of Let's Encrypt on a domain by domain basis

    Currently, when giving users the ability to access SSL to add their own certificates, they can also view Let's Encrypt and create free certificates. It would be useful to allow users access to add their own certificates without giving them access to use Let's Encrypt and there is currently no way to do this.

    Additionally, any users logging in to manage their domains can see Let's Encrypt (although cannot use it) and we keep getting asked about it, so it would be useful to hide this off for users unless they specifically need access.
