  2. Have a status/progress bar when uploading restore files to a new installation (Migrator progess bar)

    At the moment I have no idea how far along my upload is, or if the Plesk Control Panel has times out or just stuck.

    It would be really helpful to have a progress bar or remaining data outstanding to upload on the screen

  3. don't write in the backup repository during plesk updates

    I mounted a remote server via sshfs and set it as the plesk backup repository, so I can backup my domains through sftp (with a keyfile).

    But now, whenever I try to upgrade my plesk installation, plesk writes files to my backup repository (i.e. mysql backup before a mysql upgrade) and immediately tries to change the owner of the file, which fails because chown it is not supported on mounted directories.

    The best solution would be to provide the option to set a different path for automated backups.

  4. Manage serverwide ssh configuration through GUI

    There is an extension for managing user ssh keys. However it does not work as "click and use", because I have to manually edit the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file (to turn off password authetication and other).

    So, the ability to manipulate with serverwide sshd configuration through UI is what I need.

    That can be implemented in scope of extension "SSH Key Manager".

  6. Allow IIS application pool CPU settings through API

    I want to create a service plan, but iis application pool CPU settings can not be made via api Is there any information on this? There are only two parameters in the following address?

  7. Better fighting spam

    Hello Pleskians, here some appointments for a better antispam solution

    • All major spammers knows rules of spamassassin so he very ineffective.
    • The training mode (inside of round cube) "Mark as spam" DOENS'T WORK, does not matter how long, how much you mark as spam.
    • If this suppose to work will be better to have a server-side to learn with all customers.

    • there is a plugin to integrate on Roundcube maybe will work
      Control SpamAssassin settings from within Roundcube

    • into domain blacklist - please block as well subdomains

You can enable DMARC to check incoming mail on a Linux-based server (using any mail server supported by Plesk) or on a Windows-based server (using SmarterMail only).   8. Plesk-wide maintenance mode

    At times it takes quite significant time to perform plesk in-place upgrade. During this time all sites are down and plesk control panel is down as well.

    It would be good to have plesk-wide maintenance mode for such occasions that would display a nice maintenance or upgrade notice page that would be displayed to whoever accesses the sites hosted in plesk or plesk control panel itself.

  9. Interface that show progress process before download

    Many customers can not wait and press the download button too often. That generates to many big TEMP files in the /tmp folder.

  10. use Plesk as Backup MX server

    Please allow usage of Plesk Onyx (postfix) as Backup MX server

    at the moment it is not possible to configure Plesk Onyx as Backup MX server, so even I have multiple Plesk servers available, when main production server is down, all e-mails in that time-frame is lost :((

    if we could setup Plesk as Backup MX server, that would give us some redundancy so e-mail should be fine on backup mx server, until primary mx comes back online

  11. Allow spaces in passwords.

    I have been having all of my users use a sentence for their passwords. without spaces this is really going to confuse them. Just switching to plesk now.

  15. Set right ciphers by default on Windows

    but there is no tool to do it automatically (and by default during the installation).

    AFAIU, the request is about right ciphers for SSL configuration. We have a documentation how to do it manually: https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/plesk-administration/securing-plesk/pci-dss-compliance/tune-plesk-to-meet-pci-dss-on-windows.78901/ but have no tool to do it automatically, so, this is a valid request, we’ll look into it.

  16. Ability to customize nginx per site template e.g. Location /, Location ~, etc

    Hello, I'm using Plesk Onyx and I've also bumped into problems with not being able to set correct NGINX Directives.

    Regarding nginx and nginx configuration for various CMS, Web Apps etc, I see that a lot of directives need to be set and there are a lot of scattered issues around in the web.
    For example most CMS will require a
    location / { ... }
    or for google's pagespeed test we need to add expire headers e.g.
    location ~* .*.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif|ico|css|js)$ {
    expires 14d;
    }

    I think the Model to building the final vhost conf file should be revised instead…

    Now i have to insert a mailadresse at each mailaccount-blacklist.
    i think it easier to use, i im able to handle a whiltelist/blacklist for all mailaccounts

  19. Support for Helicon Ape

    Helicon Ape is a great tools for the support of .htaccess with IIS. I was really surprised, that Plesk does not support it yet.

    We like to move from WSP to Plesk, but we need support For Helicon Ape.

    Plesk should allow to edit .htaccess from the UI.

  20. Creating a global FTP(S) account

    It might be usefull to create one or more Global FTP(S) accounts which can access all the vhost directories. In addition an IP Whitelisting filter might be desirable to additionally protect access.
