  1. Autosave a shadow copy (local storage perhaps) of an ongoing edited file to prevent data loss in case of session timeout

My suggestion lies on the fact that I indeed lost my work on a php file that was open in the code editor, when I absent-mindedly pushed the "Apply" button on the text editor and realized with horror that my admin session timed out and I was returned to the unmodified version of the file once logged back in.

It would be convenient to autosave in the background ongoing changes of a text file that is bound to change once opened in the editor, in order to prevent data loss.

  2. provide more nginx options

Have the ability to provide more Nginx builds/packages. For example, offer a 'nginx-full'-package with more modules.

For example, I need the Nginx headers more module. Since this need to be built-in at compile time, it isn't possible to add this later on. So that would mean replace the Plesk version of Nginx with the distro-default. (Heck, why does Plesk need it's own Nginx-build, anyway?)

No, passing headers from Apache is not an option, especially when I'm using the Nginx - PHP-FPM setup.

  3. Allow configuration of the php-fpm slow log

For debugging PHP-FPM can log slow scripts. It would be great if you could manage this feature via Plesk.

  4. show the last time a mailbox was accessed by the user

This would allow you to see mailboxes that are no longer in use.

  5. Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam

Don't send Auto-Reply when message detected as spam

When a mail account has Auto-Reply and Spamassassin enabled, the Auto-Reply function should read the x-spam header and, if the incoming message was found to be spam, the automatic response should not be sent.

At the moment I often see Automatic replies stuck in the outgoing mail queue because they're being sent to spammers. This is silly!

  6. disable automatic greylisting activation for new domains

If i add a new domain in a subscription, greylisting is automaticly activated, just because it's enabled on the server.

It would be much better if customers have to activate greylisting manually in their settings, like the spamfilter.

A workaround with Event Manager is possible but a bit inconvenient.

  7. Introduce Email Signature/Disclaimer management

    Plesk controlled signature/disclaimer management

    1)per user
    2)per URL
    3)server wide

plesk or email in drop down and in the text field

    1. signature at user-level (user@sld.tld) | eg: Regards Mr. Abc
    2. signature at domain-level (*@sld.tld) | eg: Company xyz, Address
    3. signature at server-level | eg: "Nessage was tested against spam by xyz-freemail.com"

Every "snippet" should be added from level | in this example:
    "regards
    Mr. Abc
    Company xyz
    Address
Message was tested against spam by xyz-freemail.com"

A client approached me with exactly this request
what I could get working was the following:
    https://www.howtoforge.com/add-disclaimers-to-outgoing-emails-with-altermime-postfix-debian-etch
Unfortunately it places all send email…

  10. Support from ALPN (Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation)

Application-Layer Protocol Negotiation (ALPN) Support where good.

To ensure the best possible compatibility of support would be very good here.
Of course, this is not a priority but would be good.
So could the future https, http, be http / 2 Easy granted.

  11. Port Scan protection, PortSentry / PSAD

Plesk has fail2ban but seems to have no port scan protection, Something like PSAD or Portsentry would be good to be included to allow blocking and reporting on portscans making plesk more secure for everyone.

  12. Hide/Show Database Servers for clients

Administrator should have the possibility to make Database Servers hidden from Clients.

    My scenario is:

1 or more servers that are intended for Web only (Nginx+Apache+PHP/Ruby/Python)
2 or more servers for Databases (MySQL / could be PostgreSQL also)

In the Database Servers, the administrators should be able to select visible servers for clients.

Why? Ideal is to hide the localhost server when only external are to be used. Some DB servers may get to full and you want the clients to select only from lower used ones. You have demands from different clients to support older versions of MySQL for…

  15. MySQL-Config default to innodb_file_per_table with datadir

Take some influence to MySQL-Konfiguration and always default to "innodbfileper_table= true" and "datadir=/var/lib/mysql/data".

Makes optimization of tables and space-reclaim with larger databases possible. Might be a problem of bootstapping but is worth the effort.

  17. Clarify that underscores are automatically added by Plesk when creating SRV records

Just Place some text on the SRV "add record" page to clarify that users don't have to add underscores to the service- and protocol names.

If they do, there will be two underscores and Office 365 won't validate.

  18. Enable email subject and keywords to be blocked in spamfilter

Allow users and admin to select subject lines and keywords as well as keywords in the email body to be added to the spamfilter blacklist.

Currently spammers are just changing domains and sending the same email templates.

  19. Allow domain forwarding for every domain in a subscription, including the subscription domain

Currently it is not possible to make domain-forwarding for every Domain in an Abonnement. You have to select website-Hosting for the first domain to enable Forwarding for other Domains.

Many providers set a placeholder domain as the main subscription domain so that all domains actually "in use" in a subscription can be freely configured. Please consider this option as it will immediately solve the issue for you.

Besides that, this is a valid request. Everyone, please keep voting for it if you believe it is important.

  20. Support HPKP

I'd like to see HPKP integrated into the SSL certificate management of Plesk. This would allow, in combination with standard Nginx/Apache config, for a strongly recommended and worthwhile security element to be added to hosted sites.
