  1. Set a senders email address for Plesk notifications

I am sending mails from an external server, my Plesk Servers do not even have mail setup. Plesk offers the option to send notification mails (like backup errors,...) using an external SMTP server, but all mails get sent using the mail address
    root@servername.domain.tld

My SMTP server does not have this mail address or even domain setup. I would like to set a custom email address for Plesk to send mails from in order to not have to set up a domain and mail address for every Plesk server.

  2. Renew a subscription

Ability to renew a subscription based on the subscription plan's configured subscription expiry date.

So if a subscription expires in ten days from now and it's subscription plan is set to expire in one year, I would like to be able to click a Renew button to extend the subscription with one more expiry unit (1 year in this case, 2 years if the subscription plan would have been set to expire every two years).

Also show renewal date in the list and sort by renewal date

  3. Allow Plesk to use a clustered MySQL Server (Galera)

According to a ticket I just opened (80693) Plesk currently doesn't support a clustered MySQL server, e.g. an active/active Galera cluster.
To avoid data-loss or corruption in a server crash, I'd like to run MySQL in a Galera cluster to automatically sync the data again once Plesk's MySQL started after a crash.

  4. Fail2ban setting findtime per Jail

In Fail2ban (great idea to include it in plesk!) settings you can set "Time interval for detection of subsequent attacks" (findtime) in general. But it would be interesting this setting per Jail.
    Why?
you could have 2 jail with same filter but different findtime. Example:
Jail 1) 5 failures in 600 seconds: 1800 seconds ban
Jail 2) 30 failures in 86400 seconds: 604800 seconds ban

There are bots that detect if you have some protection fail2ban or similar and it will adapt, login attempt every 300 seconds for example. Jail 1 no detect this attack, but Jail 2 yes.

  5. Support MySQL 8

I would like to see support for the upcoming MySQL 8.
Currently there is no support inside plesk and using a possible workaround with docker isn't possible out of the box.

MySQL Community Server 8.0.4 is already a Release Candidate.

  9. Make Plesk compatible with ARM servers

Some hosting providers have servers based on ARM.

Currently ARM servers are not supported by Plesk, but it would be really nice if it could be

  10. Support HPKP

I'd like to see HPKP integrated into the SSL certificate management of Plesk. This would allow, in combination with standard Nginx/Apache config, for a strongly recommended and worthwhile security element to be added to hosted sites.

  11. Fix File and Folder Permissions for docroot from Plesk UI

When switching from Apache to FastCGI the Service Provider needs to change the permissions for the customer from apache:apache to <user>:psacln

This can be fixed by having a button in Plesk which does:

    find $PLESK_DOMAIN_HTTPDOCS -not -user $PLESK_DOMAIN_OWNER -not -name "plesk-stat" -print0 | xargs -0 chown $PLESK_DOMAIN_OWNER:psacln
    find $PLESK_DOMAIN_HTTPDOCS -type d -not -name "plesk-stat" -print0 | xargs -0 chmod 0755
find $PLESK_DOMAIN_HTTPDOCS -type f -not -name "*.pl" -not -name "*.cgi" -not -name "*.sh" -print0 | xargs -0 chmod 0644
    find $PLESK_DOMAIN_HTTPDOCS -type f -name "*.cgi" -print0 -o -name "*.pl" -print0 -o -name "*.sh" -print0 | xargs -0 chmod 0755

  13. Let's Encrypt: separate cert for webmail (without main domain in SAN)

We have a setup where webmail.example.com and example.com point to another server than our Plesk instance. Because of this we can't enable Let's Encrypt on Webmail since the CSR contains webmail.example.com and example.com.
So I hope you consider adding an option to only create webmail.example.com (without SAN example.com)

  14. Generate a deploy key per repo in the Git extension

Currently, the Git extension only generates one deploy key per Plesk user (according to @PleskHelps on Twitter). Unfortunately, GitHub doesn't allow a deploy key to be used more than one time across ALL repos, meaning every single GitHub repo requires a unique deploy key. As a result, I can clone only one of the 40 some repos I would like to on my Plesk installation.

I would like to suggest the option to have a unique deploy key generated for every single repo you want to clone. That would make the Git extension infinitely more useful for me and many…

  15. Support incremental backup for mail content

Nowadays, many users are using IMAP, maybe because is the default setting in many popular email clients (Mozilla Thunderbird, and I remember Mail on Windows 8.1 didn't support POP3 at all).

Mail content usually grow but previously stored messages doesn't change often. In Maildir format, used by Plesk, qmail and Postfix, when an user got new mails, new files with unique name are added on disk, and only some files are changed (basically, only courier-imap and dovecot caches and indexes, perhaps easy to rebuild from scratch).

So, please, support incremental backup for mail content too

  16. Add Firewall rule to block outgoing mail for non-Postfix / non-qmail

    iptables -A OUTPUT -d 127.0.0.1 -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --gid-owner postfix -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --gid-owner mailman -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -m owner --uid-owner root -j ACCEPT
    iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25 -j REJECT --reject-with icmp-port-unreachable

Would be nice to add this to the Plesk Firewall Module.

This disables malicious scripts of sending direct mail.

Other malicious mails sent through localhost (Postfix / qmail) will…

  17. Domains by renewal date

It would be very nice to be able to sort domains by renewal date.
In previous versions there was this very useful option.

  18. Hide extensions to customers

When using let's encrypt, all customers can see exention in their accommodation. Ca and I do not want

His would be to hide the exentions we want for the customer.

  20. use Plesk as Backup MX server

Please allow usage of Plesk Onyx (postfix) as Backup MX server

at the moment it is not possible to configure Plesk Onyx as Backup MX server, so even I have multiple Plesk servers available, when main production server is down, all e-mails in that time-frame is lost :((

if we could setup Plesk as Backup MX server, that would give us some redundancy so e-mail should be fine on backup mx server, until primary mx comes back online
