  1. Digital Ocean DNS mutual sync

    According to "DigitalOcean DNS" ext description:

    The extension automatically synchronizes the DNS zones between Plesk and DigitalOcean DNS.

    In reality it only works one way only, from Plesk to DO

    I would like to have Plesk DNS integrated with Digital Ocean DNS bi-directionally.

    1. I wish to have initial provisioning undertaken by Plesk. It's a real-time saver.
    2. I then wish to manage DNS records at Digital Ocean.
    3. Plesk DNS zone then becomes a follower or changes done in DO synced back to Plesk.

    I want the the functionality above because the DO UI is a lot clearer and…

  2. Sync PTR records via Slave DNS Manager

    I would like the PTR records of the primary Plesk server to synchronize automatically to Slave DNS zones while using the Slave DNS Manager extension.

  3. Search & Replace for Wordpress websites

    This is highly desirable and basic feature.
    When ever user enters "Hosting Settings" and changes the domain, Plesk will detect if a wordpress website is installed, if this domain has wordpress installed - a pop up will show up asking "Would you like to run Search and Replace in the database for the new domain?"

    User will thick V and confirm.
    Then a new pop up will show up showing:

    1. Creating restore point
    2. Running search and replace.

    This feature will save a lot of Hosts the problem with customers / developers changing the domain and not figuring up why…

    Starting with WPT 4.6, WordPress administrators can automatically update their website URL in the WordPress database and wp-config.php file based on the actual current URL. This procedure is particularly useful after migrating a website from a different location like your local workstation. The Update Site URL feature is available in the “hamburger” (context drop-down menu) on a WordPress site card.

  4. Mark Suggestions that have been implemented - as such and close thread.

    This suggestion is for THIS feature suggestions area. As a feature is implemented into PLESK, then mark the feature request as "COMPLETED - DATE - VERSION " and then close the thread.

    I just went looking for a few things and found suggestions (years old) that are current in plesk and it can do. But the thread is still open and listed as a suggestion.

  6. Create Passenger Performance Booster tool to automatically change performance parameters

    A possible extension tool like Performance Booster for Passenger would be best fit to automatically update the performance settings of Passenger, instead of manually updating settings.

So bring your web site suggestions in line with what works, and allow a range of addresses to be entered easily.

  8. Scheduling WP Toolkit notifications

    Please implement an option in Plesk to allow scheduling the email notifications sent by WP Toolkit.

    As an example, this option should allow scheduling when a notification should be sent for available updates, successful updates and failed updates.

  9. Allow the use of LetsEncrypt for default certificates

    I would like to be able to use the Let's Encrypt extension to add new certs to the "list of certificates in server pool" and make use of a Let's Encrypt (LE) cert as the "default certificate" for domains that have not added their own specific certificate.

    I thought this was already possible, but was incorrect. I added a LE cert on the Tools/Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates page, and made it the default certificate.

    However, I used a different certificate to secure the Panel and the mail server. It appears, in that case, the LE cert will never be renewed.

    Please implement an option in Plesk to generate a resource usage report per Service plan.

    For example, the report in Tools & Settings > Summary Report could have a section that provides the usage data per Service plan.

  11. Uptime Monitoring Extensions

    I have CloudRadar and UptimeRobot running on AlmaLinux 8 servers but don't see either for AlmaLinux 9. Is there an eta for either one of these as they are quite helpful. Also so much more convenient to install at the server level than on individual sites. Just much more seemless thanks.

    The CloudRadar extension is an unofficial extension that is not provided by Plesk. Please contact the vendor for information whether the vendor will offer an update for it.

    The UptimeRobot extension has been discontinued and can no longer be installed on new or older Plesk versions.

    Instead, we recommend using https://platform360.io where you can easily manage and monitor all your Plesk servers.

  12. Redirect the debug logs to a separate file

    The /var/log/plesk/panel.log would quickly grow after enabling the Plesk debug mode, which could cause issues with disk space over time. Please implement a way to store the debug log output in a separate file.

    According to Postfix documentation, multiple Postfix instances are supported. Would like to have such support implemented in Plesk

  14. GUI solution for the Greylisting and restriction of header mismatch

    It'll be useful to implement a GUI solution for the configuration of Greylisting and restriction mismatching of the "From" header, as right now both of them are done via CLI (in case with header, by editing the postfix/main.cf).

  15. Add AssumeRole (AWS) like fuctionality in Plesk's Amazon extensions

    AWS has an AssumeRole, which is a temporary security credentials: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/STS/latest/APIReference/API_AssumeRole.html#API_AssumeRole_RequestParameters

    For security reasons, it is considered a better option than the IAM user method, so it would be great to see this functionality added in Plesk's Amazon Route 53 and Amazon S3 backup extensions.

  16. SSL Certificates (S)ubject-(A)lternative-(N)ames X509 V3

    Where: Plesk UI -> "Add SSL Certificate"

    What:
    It is possible to provide (S)ubject-(A)lternative-(N)ames (SAN) in certificates and their CSR (X509 V3 extension). Additional to the main FQDN which is already read from the "Domain name" field in the plesk UI.

    Example-Explanation:
    http://apetec.com/support/GenerateSAN-CSR.htm

    SubjectAlternativeNames are often used to secure www.yourcompany.com AND yourcompany.com with the SAME certificate. At least for this "rootdomain" case (CN=www.domain.tld + SAN=domain.tld) this is supported even by the cheapest certificates.

    It is also very very common to include the rootdomain as SAN in expansive wildcard certificates.

    So I was quite surpised when I realized this…

  17. Improve support for third-party app extensions (particularly WordPress)

    At the moment, many third-party app extensions for apps in Plesk like WordPress are not supported without a significant amount of server dependencies being installed. At present, this is not possible to do from within Plesk and requires direct access to server shell and a significant amount of technical skill. It would be great if Plesk incorporated the ability to install server dependencies without needing to use the server shell.

  18. phpBB missing in extensions catalogue for Plesk Version 18.0.34

    phpBB used to be available in the extensions catalogue. Today when I wanted to install a phpBB forum, I was surprised to find it missing. Please restore or tell me how I can add it again.

    You can find phpbb in the Application Catalog, but not in the Extension catalog.

  19. Allow for E-Mail Notifican of Fail2Ban IP addresses that get blocked

    Most fail2ban implementation have functionality that will allow for an alert email of IP's getting banned. This would be helpful for system administrators to review and take further action.
