1. Support dynamic values for domain local php.ini in subscriptions

   I suggest adding support for dynamic values like %domainname% in the subscription php settings. This allows admins to keep domain subscriptions in sync when needing domain specific php values that can be easily generated by Plesk.

   Why add this to Plesk panel instead of the current domain template files? Domain template files are hard to handle and only work for php values when using php as an apache module. Moving a bunch of these dynamic values into the subscription php management allows administrators to apply values to php as CGI, Fast-CGI, PHP FPM and apache module without loosing sync with the subscription.

   Because lets face it: how many people still run php as an apache module since Plesk 11.5 and currently in Plesk 12?

   I basically want the same customisation features for PHP through cgi, fast-cgi and PHP FPM as PHP as an Apache module currently has through Plesk's domain templates. I'll explain my reasoning for this feature below:

   I use New Relic PHP monitoring to monitor all subscriptions separately. This allows me to view errors and loads on a per domain basis. To use this function I need to add a simple php value on a per domain basis that identifies the PHP for that domain to New Relic.

   If you're running PHP as an apache module you can modify the domain templates inside Plesk to use the domain name as identifier for that php value, allowing you to dynamically populate php values on a per domain basis.

   When running CGI, Fast-CGI or PHP-FPM you need to address the local php.ini for that domain. Plesk manages the local php.ini through the panel, which works great for these kind of php values, but has two deal breaking flaws:

   1. Does not support dynamic values (something like php_value = %domainname%).
   2. Disables subscription syncing in the panel for that domain.

   I would love to see the ability to (dynamically) add values to the local php.ini while keeping the subscription synced by gaining access to dynamic values in the php settings on a subscription level.

2. panel.ini setting to select 127.0.0.1 or localhost for WPT WordPress installations

   When using CloudLinux's alt-php versions and when using Plesk's php version management facility instead of CloudLinux PHP Selector, the default path to mysql.sock is not set, or in some cases incorrectly set to /tmp/mysql.sock.

   Any php script, including WordPress, that is set to use "localhost" to connect to the database will then fail to connect. This can cause severe problems with the WordPress Toolkit.

   If, instead of localhost, the host address is set to 127.0.0.1, php uses a network connection instead of trying to connect to mysql.sock, and all is well. Naturally this assumes that mysql/mariadb listens on 127.0.0.1 but that is usually the case for CloudLinux/RHEL-downstream distributions as far as I'm aware.

   The alternative is to tell php where mysql.sock is located by adding mysql.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock, mysqli.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock and pdomysql.defaultsocket = /var/lib/mysql.sock either on a per-domain basis or in the main php.ini fo9r all domains (per version of php).

   I suggest adding a panel.ini setting for wpt that would allow the administrator to set their preference of localhost or 127.0.0.1 for WordPress installations.

   As an extension to this, I also suggest that in panel.ini under [php] it could be made possible to specify the default path to mysql.sock for the various libraries, just as it is currently possible to specify disable_functions settings.

   Hi, we really appreciate the use of Laravel Toolkit but if unfortunately you make a mistake in making the first implementation in the wrong root directory you then have no way to change it.

   This builds the /etc/samba/smb.conf.include file with entered information.
   All well and good so far.

   This file contains the standard 'do not modify...' text, so making manual changes directly here is undesirable.

   In Plesk are some Linux commands such as /usr/local/psa/bin/php_handler through which permitted changes can be made from the command line.

   Is there a similar command included which would allow a shell script to make changes in a supported manner like the /usr/local/psa/bin/php_handler file does?
   I.E. any changes the script makes can be seen in the Plesk Panel and unless admin changes them through the panel will be persistent.

6. Add a way to manage Mass Email Templates via CLI

   At the moment, the only way to create a list of specific customers for the mass email template would be to navigate to Tools & Settings > Mass Email Messages > Add Mass Email Template, and add the customers by hand via GUI, which is inconvenient if there are many customers on the server.

   Please implement a way to manage the manage Mass Email Templates via console commands.

7. Add the ability to remove all infected email all once in Plesk Email Security

   Currently it's only possible to delete infected / quarantined items in Plesk Email Security one page at a time (50 items at once).

   This makes it very tedious to remove quarantined items through the extension when there are several thousand infected.

   A button to select all items in all pages should be added.

   ImageMagick look nearly dead(?) https://pecl.php.net/package/imagick no progress in months (years) and no official lib for PHP 8.

   GraphicsMagick is fully under development https://pecl.php.net/package/gmagick

   So I wish support for gmagick in Obsidian ;)

   PHP modules that are PECL extensions can be installed using the built-in PECL installer. Please go to Tools & Settings > General Settings > PHP Settings > click on the PHP version for that you want to install an extension and then on the "Manage PECL Packages" button.

   In recent Plesk versions it is now possible to manage PECL extensions for PHP directly in Plesk. However we need a method to keep such PECL extensions up-to-date, either with some sort of trigger or event handler.

10. Spam settings for the blocklist in Plesk Email Security

    Currently, if a sender is added in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Plesk Email Security > Server Settings > Blocklist, their messages are filtered with the same action as spam emails from users that are not in the blocklist.

    Please implement a feature, which allows messages from recipients in the blocklist to be completely rejected, even if the Spam action in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Plesk Email Security > Server Settings is set differently.

11. 'Park' feature in Plesk

    Many users want to 'park' their sites on our servers.
    They want to be able to add these sites to their Google Adsence or other sources to make money while their sites are 'parked'.
    I suggest the idea that Parallels Plesk team make a 'Park' feature in Domain Config. The 'Park' feature should have a page by itself where keys, metatags, etc, can be added. The 'Parked' sites should be able to be cloned to other 'Parked' sites so they can add more 'Parked' sites easily, while bringing over to their newly added "Parked' sites their google account data, or any other data they need to reference their site with their registrar, Google, MSN, etc.

    Many users want to 'park' their sites on our servers.

12. Make a default installation for open xchange usable in plesk

    Open xchange is a great alternative server to ms exchange.
    Implementing this into a plesk managed server is possible, plesk has a apk for ox. But a working ox installation is a must to get it working - and a default ox installation into a plesk managed server is not easy at all.
    So please integrate an option to install and configure ox like done by horde.
    OX is graet in working with iOS, ms outlook or any standard mail client, handling calendar and contacts too!

    Unfortunately, due to nature and complexity of Open-Xchange, it’s not possible to achieve the level of integration smoothness similar to Horde (note that Horde is a local webmail, while OX is a remote mail server).

13. Renewal Date should Not be part of Hosting Resources

    The Renewal Date should Not remain a part of Hosting Resources / Hosting Configuration once a hosting account has been created.

    If I create hosting accounts on different days/dates, and each one of them will have different Renewal dates, I will have to lock each hosting account so that their Renewal dates do not change automatically if I make changes to their common Hosting Plan.

    To update each locked hosting account with the changes to their common Hosting Plan, I will have to spend a lot of time in customizing each hosting account, one by one.

    This can be easily avoided if you do not club Renewal date with the Hosting Plan Configuration.

    The Renewal Date should Not remain a part of Hosting Resources / Hosting Configuration once a hosting account has been created.

15. Improve speed of Migration Manager re-sync process

    Because there is a re-sync option, the overall speed of the initial data transfer with Plesk Migration Manager (PMM) doesn't matter that much (to us), however when re-syncing the speed of the process is super important because domain web and email services on the source server must be down/offline to prevent data inconsistencies. The re-sync process currently takes roughly 1 hour per 100 subscriptions.

    Here's three ways the re-sync process could be improved to minimize web and email service downtime:

    # 1. Fetch configuration data ONCE

    PMM batches 5 subscriptions at a time, and prior to each batch of 5, it sits for 3-4 minutes saying "Fetch configuration data from Plesk servers"

    Presumably it's grabbing info on the next 5 subscriptions.

    PMM should fetch configuration data for all subscriptions in the queue at the start of the re-sync, as we don't have to block access to the server during that part of the process. Once it actually moves on to copying data from the subscriptions, we would then start the downtime portion.

    # 2. Always keep 5 processes running

    Currently PMM batches 5 subscriptions at a time, however as the data transfers for each subscription complete, it does not start additional subscription migrations to keep 5 going at all times. That means it can be sitting migrating a single subscription (ex: with larger databases or more emails) and nothing else happening, which wastes time.

    If (1) above is implemented, then PMM could always keep 5 subscriptions migrating simultaneously, such that when one completes, another subscription migration begins.

    Even if (1) above is not implemented, it could at least start Fetching configuration data for the next 5 subscriptions after the first subscription (in the prior group) finishes migrating. That way the 5 processing slots would look something like this after the first subscription finishes migrating:

    1. Subscription data copy
    2. Subscription data copy
    3. Subscription data copy
    4. Subscription data copy
    5. Fetch configuration data for next batch of 5

    3. Allow admin to configure the number of subscriptions to migrate in each batch

    Rather than a fixed value of 5, why not allow the admin to configure that. If, for example, the server has 16 cores, it would make sense to allow something like 12 simultaneous subscriptions to re-sync at once.

    Or Plesk could monitor the server load and, if it's less than the number of cores on the server, automatically scale the number of simultaneous subscription migrations to match.

    Implementing these options could result in reducing the total re-sync time by half or potentially more.

16. Improve error reporting by Slave DNS Manager

    When any changes are applied to the DNS Settings and when the Slave DNS Manager extension is installed, it would be helpful to add some notifications from the Slave DNS manager in case any issue with syncing zones occur. For example, if changes can not be applied to the Slave server, provide a warning that the service is not working as expected

    Actually, pleskbackup utility uses a flag named --no-zip where files into the destination compressed folder are not previously compressed, but Windows OS read the .zip extension of the folder like a compressed file and this increase so much the backup time (this because become a great I/O consumption).

    I think this is not much useful, the correct behavior should be that when a --no-zip switch is used, the destination is not a ZIP file but a standard directory!

    In case of servers where many domains with thousands of little files, use a "normal copy" instead of compressed folder like is now, can be really usefull to complete a backup in less than 24 hours.

    Another issue can be to configure the Backup directory and not have a "hardcoded %plesk_data%\Backup" directory, but ask to sys admin to decide where the backup is pointing (for example, on an external SAN, external device and so on)

18. File Sharing per Domain / per Usergroup / per User

    I really like to use the File Sharing option Plesk provides in the current release. Using Tools like NetDrive, it is easily possible to mount a netdrive in windows explorer with access to the file sharing folder.

    However, for the time being, once you upload a file into the shared-folder, every admin of plesk has access to it. I really would appreciate it, to have more control over access rights. For example I would like to have one shared-folder which is only accessable for admins of domainA.tld and one shared-folder for the admins of domainB.tld. Using the personal folder doesn't help, because in this case only ONE user has access to it - and no usergroup!

    I really like to use the File Sharing option Plesk provides in the current release. Using Tools like NetDrive, it is easily possible to mount a netdrive in windows explorer with access to the file sharing folder.
