1. Plesk billing solution for customer and reseller, e.g. like WHMCS

   I know that there is WHMCS billing solution but it is not intuitive and need lot of task to make it work.
   Please could you reflect including a Ready To Go billing solution, just by installing an extension, it could be a GREAT release !

2. Having possibility to add multiple addons to service plans

   Hello,

   can you consider adding possibility to have one Service Plan Addon to be added multiple times to one subscription?

   For example Service plan with 2GB of hosting space could be extended with 5x of 1GB plan addon. This could be used with WHMCS which allows buying configurable options to hosting plans during hosting time period and users could extend their hosting space whenever they need it without changing their hosting plan to higher since they mostly need hosting space without any additional features.

   As far as I can see when I create 1GB hosting space addon I can only add it one time to existing subscription.

3. fail2ban - Add Details (Login Name)

   Often large Companies with lot's of Workstation are getting blocked because 1 Client in their Office is trying to log in with wrong Password (imap/pop/smtp) - then the whole Office of them is getting blocked and the search which PC/which User is causing the block.starts ...
   It would help big times if one got a reference which Login Name / Username caused the block as additional Info next to the IP ...
   Won't help on Brute Force Attacks where the Username changes ... but on this Scenario it would be a big Timesaver ...

   We're almost there. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.35, published on April 20th, 2021, we had already added the option to upload folders or multi-select-upload files. It may not yet be possible to download a complete directory in one step, but this can also be done in two steps by first creating an archive of it and then downloading the archive. 

   
   

   So this feature request is now about downloading a directory or a set of selected files in one step. Please keep voting for it if you believe that this is an important feature.

   It would be very usefull to be able to allow resellers to unban IPs banned by fail2ban.

   This should be a given permission that would be given to specified resellers or even possibly to clients.

8. Expand WHMCS integration/module

   The WHMCS module is very basic and lacks a lot of features. Some features to integrate and consider are to integrate WHMCS social/2auth integration with Plesk social login/2auth. Another integration is to allow the client to control their installation from the WHMCS panel and add configurable options such as plugins. Also, the client shouldn't be required to set a domain when purchasing a service, it should only ask for hostname since some will have multiple domains on their Plesk.

9. Let users choose the preferred log storage path (log file location)

   Plesk should store all logs in the standard linux location of /var/log instead of storing logs in /var/www/vhost/system/<domain>/logs. In our case, we run very optimized Plesk environment w/ /var/www/vhost setup on it's own Enterprise RAID SSD. But we can't optimize Plesk hosting when the access logs, error logs, etc are also being written under the same partition (ie /var/www/vhost/...).

10. Wordpress Toolkit - URL switch (main URL <=> preview URL)

    Hello,

    I would like to suggest something which could be VERY helpfull to customers which are moving their Wordpress instances between servers. Lets say you have domain.com on Server1. Then you are moving it to Server2 with Plesk and Wordpress Toolkit but domain.com is still pointing to Server1. Issue with Wordpress is that if you don't use main URL then all media files (css, images etc) are not being loaded correctly and customer can't be sure if everything will work correctly when he switch DNS settings for domain.com from Server1 to Server2.

    My suggestion is that it would be great if there could be some kind of Preview switch (On/Off) called "Set preview URL as Wordpress main URL" (or something like that) where Wordpress toolkit will change Wordpress main URL in configuration table to one which is being used by preview link in Plesk.

    This could solve all preview issues with Wordpress where some of wordpress instances are redirecting to main URL on site opening (so currently it would redirect user from Server2 preview URL to Server1 main URL).

    What do you think about it? This is simple task which must change two URLs in Wordpress configuration table.

    I'm aware that some URLs are hardcoded into templates, posts, pages etc. but generally speaking setting main URL in configuration table could solve all preview issues.

    We can use customer username as a database prefix, however customer username is not descriptive enough comparing to subscription username.

    Really need to have an user access via ssh to only httpdocs folder not root.
    It is necessary for example to grant time-limit access for spesific user.

13. Backup via SSHFS

    We have huge amounts of Backup Data (currently around 450gb per file). The whole process using FTP takes around ~ 13 hours to complete. Trying to restore something is a big bottleneck for us. Restoring from FTP is ****, and we searched for alternatives.

    We decided to give SSHFS a try by mounting /var/lib/psa/dumps to the remote Server and disconfigured the FTP Settings. The result is annoying. The Backup now takes around 2,5 hours, the Plesk Backend is really fast now and local space is not consumed anymore!

    So i suggest you to give SSHFS a try. It is like NFS but really easy. You can take a look at CURLFTPFS too! It can be used to mount external FTP Servers, but we decided to use SSHFS because of its simplicity...

    It is easy to mount /var/lib/psa/dumps using the following command:

    cat ~/.PASSWORDFORREMOTESERVER | sshfs -o passwordstdin,uid=id -u psaadm,gid=getent group psaadm | cut -d: -f3,Ciphers=arcfour,Compression=no,kernel_cache,workaround=rename USER@HOST:/DIRECTORY /var/lib/psa/dumps

    You only have to store the password for the remote Server in an hidden file, e.g "/root/.backupserver" and pipe it to sshfs using the option -o passwordstdin. On the remote Server you have to enable the Ciphers arcfour in your sshd_config to make it work. This will make the whole connection faster.

    After mounting the folder you can disable the FTP Settings in Plesk and therefor he writes to the local folder...

    With using SSHFS the Backups are now created within 2,5 hours!

16. Statistic usage per each page on website

    I can see the bandwidth of each domain on my webserver. But now i came with the idea (I dont know if it was requested before, or if it is a feature of the web host edition only) that you can see the bandwidth each page uses, so you can see it for the whole domain, but also every page you have in your plesk folder, so you have a more detailed overview what people like to look at on your page.Maybe a calculator how many mb one user uses (there are tools on the web for this, but something integrated would be cool) could be very usefull. I apologise for my bad english. I hope those ideas can get added to Plesk, to make plesk way better for me! (I am using the web pro edition of plesk)

17. install sql server reporting services with SQL server on shared hosting. Would be a valuable & useful feature for your product & consumers.

    Availability of reporting services on SQL server would be very useful on shared web hosting. My new ISP says Plesk doesn't support reporting services. I think it would be great if you did - not every site is a blog or simple brochure style. Any small scale business site still requires reporting, and SSRS is a natural fit for ASP.Net hosting.

19. Put all nginx directives into one server block

    Hello,
    As it is possible to put more than one listen directives, putting only one server block would optimize a lot the Nginx config file.
    Also putting the index directive into the server part would avoid to put it in every / locations.

20. Display backup restore progress bar and ETA for restore process

    Please enter the percentage of database restore in progress ... it is very frustrating to restore without knowing either the time left or the totality of kbytes transferred and remaining, with progress a bar
