  1. change the remote configuration of the Smarter Mail via the interface Plesk

    Hi,

    I would like to suggest to implement the option to change the via to change the domain/mail path via the Smarter Mail configuration

    As eg:

    Default Path: c:\smartermail\domains\

    Would be super interesting adding the option to be able to custom this path instead using the default only.

  2. Allow domain's mail forwarding to another domain for all existing mailboxes at once

    Currently, Plesk has an option to enable mail forwarding for particular mailboxes of the domain; and it is also possible to forward all incoming domain's mail to a single mailbox.

    Please allow activation of mail forwarding to another domain for all existing mailboxes at once.

    To allow one click mail forwarding as follows:
    mail for user1@domain.com redirected to user1@domain.net,
    mail for user2@domain.com redirected to user2@domain.net, etc.

  3. Allow changing the percentage threshold when mail quota warning is sent and also allow CC to administrator

    Allow changing the percentage when the mail quota warning is sent, in small sized mailboxes the 95% could be almost to late.
    So it would be good to have an option to adjust it for example to 85% or other values.

  4. Prevent decryption of passwords for customers/mail users/...

    At the moment, user/customer/... passwords are stored in the database in a way that they can still be decryted using the server's private key (see for instance http://serverfault.com/questions/425116/possible-to-get-cleartext-password). This is for instance used by the program mailauthview. Thus, once somebody knows the key and has access to the database, (s)he can decrypt all passwords.

    I would like to prevent the ability of decrypting passwords at all. Since many people use the same passwords across different accounts, I'd like to prevent the risk that user passwords unintentionally could get revealed if somebody gets access to the server.

  5. Config files for mail as in Cpanel.

    Pain staking issues as soon as setting up mail is not working like normal. How nice would config files be! For differten platforms.

  7. Smarthost/External SMTP

    It would be nice to have an external SMTP (smarthost) ability for a per-domain basis (most mail services have this)

    We use this for external scanning, data leak prevention and more.

    Can this be be done?

    Hi everyone,


    I am glad to inform you that starting from Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, it is now possible to configure Smarthost/relayhost on a server level in Tools & Settings > Smarthost.


    However, while most of the feedback we received indicates that the current solution is good enough in resolving the pain point, there are some of our users who would like to be able to enable Smarthost on a per domain basis.


    While providing an ability to configure multiple similar Smarthosts for different domains might be complicated, considering the technical stack we are working with (Windows & Linux, Postfix & MailEnable & SmarterMail), we can provide an ability to configure one Smarthost as a Plesk admin and give the possibility to enable this specific Smarthost for particular domains without enabling it serverwide.

    This idea is marked closed and done, but it seems it was only done in linux so I'm creating this new post to request the feature in windows.

  9. Autofill e-mail

    I would suggest that the e-mail is automatically completed for contacts already used, since we currently have to keep typing the same email as often as they are sent.

    The Mail Importing option from the Site Import is located at main Dashbord tab and not at Mail tab.

  12. Use mailbox alias into email From Header

    I have a domain which is an alias of another domain.

    I have mailboxes created on the main domain, but now we want that the From Header on outgoing mails will be the alias one (username will be the main domain as usual).

  13. There should be an option to suppress auto replies for emails coming from mailing lists

    The auto reply mechanism always replies to emails. If these are sent by mailing lists, the a reply gets sent back to the mailing list.

    The auto reply mechnasim should allow to limit replies to exclude emails from mailing lists.

  15. add a general rate limit option for service connections in iptables

    Similar, but not the same as proposed in https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/46431970-add-rate-limiting-rules-to-fail2ban

    Problem:
    Scrapers and bad bots are reacting to an increased propagation of Fail2Ban bad bot rules. Their new tactic is to collect a number of domains hosted on the same ip address first, then to send burst style requests to all these domains "at once" so that they get a response before Fail2Ban rules kick in to ban the ip address of the requestor. Since 3/2025 in some cases it has been observed that these attack style bursts can be so massive that they drive up the cpu usage…

  17. "Add another" button when adding mail

    It happened to me a few times that I had to create a bunch of mails, over 100 mail accounts. I'd be really nice to have an "add another" button on the bottom, which saves the new account, but reloads the page so you can add another. A minor feature, but think it could make someone's life easier.

  19. Roundcube Settings Sync

    Many of our clients have requested the ability to manage their email configuration options through webmail, rather than via Plesk. I'd like the option to allow mail users to manage their account themselves via a Plesk Roundcube plugin that provides the following options:

    1. Setting up an Autoresponder
    2. Configuring forwarding / redirects
    3. Changing their password

    Others that would be handy as well:

    A. Managing server-side mail filtering (whenever this becomes available in Plesk at all)
    B. Spamassassin training

  20. Global / Universally Block Spam/Fake Mail Facility

    We are using Mail Facility – Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 since long time.
    Most of All user are getting Spam / Fake Mail Everyday.
    Everytime Domain / Mail Id are different.
    Currently we have to block it from individual account and it is almost impossible to access and update all account daily for the same.
    We Need a Facility in which we can block particular spam domain/mail Universally.
    Kindly develop this Universal Spam Mail Blocking Facility for us and for all other users/customers.
    This can be very helpful and secure for all of us.
