  1. Ability to trigger folder rescan for Composer

There needs to be a way to force the Composer extension to rescan folders for a given (sub)domain. Currently, once you've done the initial scan there seems to be no straightforward way of forcing the extension to recognise the fact that you've subsequently either added additional composer.json instances, respectively removed existing ones.

    (See e.g. https://talk.plesk.com/threads/php-composer-missing.354083/ )

  2. Add color support for comments in panel.ini editor extension

There's no comment color support, which causes visual bugs in the panel.ini editor view.

    For example:
A word in the default description for the [pmm] section has a tilde character ( ` ) instead of an apostrophe. This causes everything after it, including other sections, to appear in brown color, and not the correct color code for further sections.

Comments should be recognized as such and have their own color code (like gray) so its contents don't take over the color in upcoming sections. It can confuse users.

  3. Let's Encrypt Email Address settings

It should be possible to define a default email address which (optionally) overrides the email address normally used be Let's Encrypt Extension for Plesk.

I suggest to add config options 'defaultemail' (string) and 'overrideemail' (bool) to the LE extension. 'defaultemail' defines which email address is pre-filled in the "Email" field when first installing a certificate, and is used instead of any previously configured address if 'overrideemail' is set to true.

'override_email' could also be implemented per-domain, so that it can be set for some domains only, perhaps even in Service Plans?

    Additionally, a mass…

  4. Make "My Extensions" the default if clicked on Extensions

Please make "My Extensions" the default when I click on Extensions. After the server is set up, I don't ever need the Catalog.

You can get quick access to the installed extensions using the Quick Access menu which will appear in the first second when you point a mouse on the ‘Extensions’ menu item. It’s exactly what you are asking (see attached image).

If using this menu is not suitable for you, please keep vote and describe in comments why its feature is not fit your needs.

  5. R1Soft server backup manager

R1 Soft SBM is a stable and effective way of backing up the full server, and per user / per domain accounts. It is long overdue for support in PLESK, in the same way (and for the same reasons) that other major control panels already implement it.

  6. Make SSH Keys Manager NOT an Extension

I looked everywhere for it - even search extensions (but it did not get found with a simple "SSH" search) - why in the world would this be considered optional?

  7. Backup jobs - show/manage all scheduled jobs for Admin

I would be nice, if the admin can see all scheduled backup jobs in one view and has the possibility to mange them easily.

  8. staging

Please provide a way to run a script after you do copy of databases / files so you can easily search and replace connection strings, urls etc.

It would be easy to implement for you, and a cool as hell feature to have in plesk.

At the moment I need to do this every time I copy between environments.

  9. Laravel ToolKit: Creation of deployment script before first deployment. On the "Install Application" screen.

When I deploy a Laravel application to Plesk, I always use the Laravel ToolKit extension. I follow all the steps outlined in the documentation to install my application. However, at the end of the deployment process, I still need to go to the extension's Node tab and run the npm install and npm run build commands. It would be nice if there was an option to implement a deployment script on the "Install Application" screen, as this would reduce the amount of configuration that would need to be done in the Plesk panel.

    There is a similar option…

  10. Make Tomcat7 and Java 1.7 available as a downloadable extension.

There is Tomcat 6 available (with java 1.6), but this is awfully outdated and therefore an update is required.

Please make a new UI for admin area.
No an extension to change color - a new modern UI.

Please consult with your design team as well as other designers and plesk users.

We have to close this request as a very vague one.

While there definitely might be expected changes and improvements in the UI – “the new UI” is something that everyone will understand in their own way. So most likely each supporter of this request has their own unique understanding of what “new UI” is.

Development of custom designs is fully documented here
    https://docs.plesk.com/en-US/onyx/administrator-guide/plesk-administration/appearance-and-branding/using-custom-themes.70906/

Whoever would have more specific changes in mind, they might file a new request with more specific proposals, i.e.
    - which additional convenience you might need in the new UI?
    - which design might look more attractive for you?
    - etc

This way other users can support or dispute your opinion.

    Thanks everyone!

  12. Import emails in batches

There is a Mail Importing feature in Site Import extension, but it is possible only to migrate emails one by one. It would be great if there is an ability to migrate a couple of mailboxes at once.

  13. Google Authenticator extension: use HTML "autocomplete" attribute

Use HTML autocomplete="false" on the 6-digit PIN input field, so the browser autocomplete feature will not suggest past PINs.

Since these are always one-time use, it never makes sense to remember and autocomplete values of the PIN entry field.

  14. Update multiple DNS zones at once via the Transfer of DNS Records extension

I would like to have the option of multiple domain lookup and multiple BIND DNS Zone file import via the Transfer of DNS Records extension for Plesk, because I need to update multiple zones for multiple domains at once.

  16. SSH keys with passphrase protection

Bitbucket repository provides the possibility to generate SSH keys with passphrase protection for better securing.
However, Git extension in Plesk doesn't support passphrase protection and fails with "Permission denied" error.

Consider adding passphrase protection as it will increase the security.

  17. Autoconfigure NGINX for WordPress Permalinks

WordPress Permalinks are not working with Nginx.
The Webpage shows the error: wordpress 404 ngix
The URL-rewriting with other Permalinks than pageID is not working with Nginx.

Implementing this seems not easy (for me), just when you also want to use a WP caching tool.
    Have a look here:

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Nginx

Please implement this out of the box by activating with checkbox etc...

    Thanks

We have addressed this request to a certain (reasonable) extent. Specifically:

    • WP permalinks will work if nginx works in the nginx-only mode for a website, serving FPM
    • WP permalinks won’t work if nginx is working as a proxy in front of Apache
    • WP permalinks won’t work in case of custom error pages.

This change is available since around WPT 4.3.2. Let us know if you have any questions or comments on our forum: https://talk.plesk.com/forums/wordpress-toolkit.750/

  18. Support for next.js applications

The problem we are facing is that Plesk's Node.js extension expects an entry point for the app (like app.js) but next.js doesn't work that way.
The expected workflow as explained here (Learn - Deploying a Next.js App | Next.js) is to run the app using npm via the command line using "npm start" after you have built the app and next.js handles the rest internally.

  19. Include mhash extension in Plesk PHP Versions

mhash module is needed fro NTLM authentication for current servers nowadays, like corporate MS Exchange servers. PHP just can't do SMTP AUTH without it, we need mhash
