Support of JMAP
"JMAP is intended to be a new standard for email clients to connect to mail stores. It therefore intends to primarily replace IMAP + SMTP submission. It is also designed to be more generic such that it can be extended with contacts, calendars in the future (replacing CardDAV/CalDAV)." (http://jmap.io/)
Sounds good to have it ASAP it is released.
6 votes3 years after its invention support of JMAP is limited to "experimental" support in a rare number of software products. As Plesk does not provide mail server software themselves, but merely is a comfortable user interface to such software, JMAP will not become a reality in Plesk itself, but maybe in Postfix, QMail, Dovecot or a then new mail daemon application on servers some day in the future. In that case we'll be happy to review this topic again. But for now, it is just nothing that is close to becoming a reality on the web, neither are there suitable server software packages for which a user interface could be developed. For these reasons we must decline this request.

Mailqueue View Sender Account
Show not only sender and reciepient email adress. Show the account (Email-Adress) of the authorized Sender. Would be a great feature, if a mail account was hacked. So you would not have to check mail logs.
3 votesCould you please explain in more details what is usage scenario of adding this information? What is the case when you currently need to check this info in logs? Where specifically this account of authorized sender must be shown? And what you mean as “authorized sender”?
UPD: Sorry, we are closing the request as no information were provided for over a month.

Kaspersky AV handler must not backscatter
Kaspersky AV handler must not respond back to the sender address of an e-mail containing a virus. This will cause backscatter and get the server blacklisted.

Add enabling "Keep websites secured" with all options via CLI
Suggest adding the CLI commands for enabling "Keep websites secured" and all four options:
"Include the "www" subdomain"
"Secure domain aliases"
"Secure webmail"
"Secure mail"
in SSL/TLS certificates.
It would enhance the advanced administration of SSL certificates, especially beneficial on servers with large amount of domains.7 votesThank you for your input! We will consider this functionality in upcoming releases if it is popular. Everyone, please continue voting for this feature if you consider it important.

Make SSL/TLS encryption on port 587 optional, not mandatory
Some mails could not be received due to the fact the Postfix 2.8 and higher in Plesk uses only TLS encryption, when senders use other encryption methods. Manually updating main.cf directly on the server (as discribed in https://plesk.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213386889) is not always an option since the main Postfix configuration file may be overwritten by any Plesk update. In order to avoid potential issues with non-delivered mails it is required to make SSL/TLS encryption on port 587 optional, not mandatory.

Extend Google Drive Backup extension functionality to use service accounts.
Currently It's possible to configure 50 backup repositories on Google Drive Backup per account, only. But according to
https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2
this limit does not apply to service accounts.

Secure one way encrypted password storage (no mail_auth_view for gdpr, pci-dss, nis2)
Mail password are encrypted but not hashed.
Clear text password are available using the utility
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/mailauthviewThis is just symmetric everyone not the good practice. See OWASP :
https://cheatsheetseries.owasp.org/cheatsheets/Password_Storage_Cheat_Sheet.htmlIt does not meet many regulations (often referring to good practices or OWASP) and it's an unnecessary security risk of password exposure.
Please add an option to have mail user password hashed one way.
Thanks.
2 votesThank you for your input. We are already working on storing only password hashes, rather than actual passwords. I cannot provide any ETA at this moment.

I'm using Horde email, why do I have to log into my mail account every day?
I'm using Horde email, why do I have to log into my mail account every day? Can Plesk have an option to allow my email web page to be open every day for a month or two? I use Yahoo email, and it will stay signed in for months, as long as I don't clear my browser cache. Why can't Horde email do the same thing?

Better Integration with AWS Services
There needs to be integration with Amazon SES, like make it another option in the SMTP options. The current method of choosing MSMTP (in order to configure it as an external SMTP service) will uninstall your other inbound mail services, like Dovecot and Postfix.
Additionally, a way to integrate the AWS Route 53 service would be very helpful. Maybe this could be added as an Extension.
7 votesRoute 53 extension is already available https://www.plesk.com/extensions/amazon-route53/, https://youtu.be/3F3Byyea0ds.
For the other part of this request, "integration with Amazon SES" no information was provided how such an integration should look like, what should it do, what configuration options are expected so that it is an "integration".

Prevent Postfix from modifying "From" Header for authenticated users.to mail address that doesn't belong to them
An authenticated SMTP user (e.g., user1@example.com) is able to send emails with a different "Mail From" address (such as user2@example.com), even though both addresses belong to the same domain. This behavior is undesired, as it allows users to impersonate other valid users within the domain.
Our goal is to prevent this kind of spoofing by enforcing a match between the authenticated SMTP identity and the actual sender address.

Add an ability to change mail queue lifetime from control panel
Currently, it is only possible to change mail queue lifetime from CLI. It would be useful to be able to set this from Plesk UI as well.

E-Mail Whitelist export
Please make it possible to export the whitliste to a file...so that I can import this to my system. I Upgraded to new Plesk and they are all gone! Very bad.
1 voteWhitelist records are stored in psa database table smtp_poplocks and can’t be lost during upgrade.
To solve this upgrade issue, please contact your hosting provider (the company that hosts your website) and request support from them directly. We are the authors of the software you and your hosting provider are using, and unfortunately, we cannot help with this particular request because we do not host your website.—

Send server email notifications through Microsoft Graph API
Hi to all of you,
I got an Please Server running in Azure.
As you may know, SMTP Port 25 Outgoing is blocked default by Microsoft to avoid spamming.
On request it can be opened but it's not always granted.Microsoft Graph API Support in Plesk would be welcomed as it would allow to send Plesk Server Emails notifications.
such feature already exists for Wordpress and works perfectly after creating an App Registration in Azure with the correct Graph API permissions.
Therefor creating such feature for Plesk should not Rocket Science.

Allow the use of LetsEncrypt for default certificates
I would like to be able to use the Let's Encrypt extension to add new certs to the "list of certificates in server pool" and make use of a Let's Encrypt (LE) cert as the "default certificate" for domains that have not added their own specific certificate.
I thought this was already possible, but was incorrect. I added a LE cert on the Tools/Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates page, and made it the default certificate.
However, I used a different certificate to secure the Panel and the mail server. It appears, in that case, the LE cert will never be renewed.

Different notification settings for available WordPress updates: Plugin, Theme or WordPress core
Email notifications to customers are sent on every available WordPress update, that's far too much. My clients don't take them for important anymore and don't update at all. I suggest to fine tune available settings in Tools & Settings > Notifications > APS application updates (customer’s digest): Different notification options if the available update is a WordPress Core update, a plugin update or a theme update. So for example the plugin and theme update notification could be turned off for customers, but WordPress core update notifications would be still sent.
Another suggestion would be an option to cutomize the…

Error with an email format in php
Hello I've got the following error when I try to send an email php format: "his Warning: mail() has been disabled for security"... Do you have any solution? Thank you

You shall or address this question to your service provider (from whom you have purchased the account) directly.
Sorry, but we are closing this item because it is not a feature request. We would appreciate if you ask questions about Plesk and report bugs found in Plesk using our forum: http://forum.odin.com
