My server administrator has set the mail output to 120 mails per hour on my request. If I want to change as user now different e-mail settings, I have to set the mail output again to the standard of 10, because otherwise I can not save the changes. The "Maximum number of outgoing e-mail" display will turn red and you will not be able to continue. I would like, for example, only to change the forwarding, which is denied me however

An option to limit a number of full backups via CLI
It'd be great to have an option to limit the number of full backups in directory via cli, for example:
plesk bin pleskbackup ... -max_backups=22 votesThis is a valid request, so we'll look into it. There is no ETA at the moment, but we would really appreciate you voting for this request so that we can accurately assess its popularity relative to other features.

make SSL Certificates for mail services manageable from Plesk
To change SSL certs for mail services one has to manually change at least three files: (depending on system e.g.)
/etc/postfix/postfix_default.pem
/usr/share/imapd.pem
/usr/share/pop3d.pemThis is very confusion and not very usable, esp. as there are already a number of SSL ways to set certificates in Plesk (per domain, per ID, for the panel, as std. for all domains, ...)
This could be streamlined and a simple tickbox, like 'Set this certificate for mail services' would make the life of administrators much easier!

Make the limits for CPU, Memory and Disk (cgroups) customizable per reseller in order lock resources available for reseller's plans
At the moment you cannot lock system resources available to the reseller. It could be useful to limit the cgroups resources available to the resellers when creating the reseller plan, in order to not allow the creation of unlimited service plans to be assigned to the reseller customers. It could be useful to limit any resource uverusing.

Secure Plesk mail servers with Modern authentication
Microsoft is retiring Basic Authentication soon, which means servers that do not use Modern Authentication (OAuth, 2FA, MFA, etc.) will not be able to use its mail client Outlook.
I suggest you add an option to secure Plesk's mail servers with Modern Authentication, for example by integrating it with third party apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Duo, Okta, etc..

Remote mail server
Not everyone will use PPA, but a separate Mail server would be very good.
5 votesYou can configure and use external Mail Server as it is already described in Plesk documentation – http://download1.parallels.com/Plesk/PP12/12.0/Doc/en-US/online/plesk-administrator-guide/72346.htm
Let us know if it doesn’t help.

Limit rate of backup
Full weekly backup for all domains create a huge I/O throughput on our SAN that stress too much our infrastructure until backup ends. It would great if we can tune data through a pipe like "pv" command do.
I.e.
This is an example of backup that stress the SAN:
mysqldump -A -q --single-transaction=TRUE -u $MUSER -p$MPASS | gzip > $_fileThis instead is and example that do not stress the SAN:
mysqldump -A -q --single-transaction=TRUE -u $MUSER -p$MPASS | gzip | pv -L 512k > $_filein the last command we set the maximum rate limit of 512k. Of course…

Mail quota won't suspend the subscription
It would be a very useful feature to have an option to configure the 'Mailbox size' limits (Service Plans > select a plan > Resources), so when the limit was reached, the subscription won't getting suspended, but all messages that are exceeded the size limit will bounce with an error message.

Fully Customizable Autodiscover Settings
Could you please allow some (or all) of the new Obsidian Autodiscover settings to be customizable at a Subscription or Domain level? Here is a list of things we need:
1) Specify POP or IMAP or BOTH incoming server types.
2) Specify custom domain prefixes for incoming and outgoing servers. (ie: mail.domain.ext or smtp.domain.ext or etc, etc...)
3) Specify custom port numbers for both incoming and outgoing servers. (so we may specify exactly what kind of security is enabled or not)
4) Any other settings that can be customized but are of lesser importance. Please, if you are concerned,…

It would be nice to provide mail SSL/TLS support with SNI for more domains from single IP
217 votesWe are glad to inform you that this feature is available.
- If you use the domain (example.org) as an address for a mail server as well, see https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377516977175-How-to-assign-an-SSL-certificate-per-domain-to-secure-the-mail-server-in-Plesk-SNI-support for details on how it could be configured.
- If you would like to use a 3rd level domain (e.g. mail.example.org) as an address for a mail server, then please use a wildcard certificate for this scenario.
- If you are interested in the scenario where Plesk serves mails (mail.example.org) and the A-record for the domain (example.org) points to another server, please continue voting for the https://plesk.uservoice.com/forums/184549-feature-suggestions/suggestions/39378850 request.
